If one in three people are exempt from quarantine, this is a major loophole in what Trudeau has claimed is a credible response to the danger of new infections and new variants of COVID-19 entering and then spreading within Canada. Another loophole that is being exploited to avoid hotel quarantine is to fly into the United States and then cross the land border. Remarkably no hotel quarantine is mandated when you arrive by land rather than by air, since for some reason federal authorities seem to believe that the virus is less transmissible if it crosses into Canada by road.

Greyhound Canada ends service on all routes in Ontario and Quebec
Greyhound Canada is closing down all bus routes in Ontario and Quebec, effective Thursday.
The transporation company said in a news release that due to low ridership, it will discontinue all routes in both provinces.
124 Retired Generals and Admirals Warn U.S. in “Deep Peril” Under Biden
The letter was released by Flag Officers 4 America, and was signed by 124 retired “military officers entitled to carry a flag indicating their rank,” The Daily Caller noted.
It begins, “Our Nation is in deep peril. We are in a fight for our survival as a Constitutional Republic like no other time since our founding in 1776. The conflict is between supporters of Socialism and Marxism vs. supporters of Constitutional freedom and liberty.”
Committee to discuss proposal requiring California retailers to have gender-neutral children’s sections
The legislation, first introduced on Feb. 18, “would require a retail department store with 500 or more employees that sells childcare items, children’s clothing, or toys, to maintain a gender neutral section or area … in which a reasonable selection of the items, articles, and toys for children that it sells shall be displayed, regardless of whether they have been traditionally marketed for either girls or for boys,” according to a bill summary.
