Gun violence in Toronto has exploded in January compared to this time a year ago.
As of Sunday, Jan. 23, the number of people killed by gunfire is up 300%, the number killed or injured is up 111.1%, the number injured but not killed is up 57.1% and the number of shootings is up 13.6%.
