On Feb. 3, the committee unanimously passed a motion inviting the crowdfunding company to appear and explain how it plans to prevent the money from being used to promote “extremism, white supremacy, anti-Semitism, and other forms of hate.” The committee also expressed concern that the convoy was getting money from foreign sources, mainly the U.S.

Why would it be that Canadian-controlled media would promote a virulently anti-Canadian belief system? Pray-tell– does China bash their society in this manner. How about Iran or Saudi Arabia? Has the government of Pakistan unfurled a comprehensive program of self-loathing throughout society?

Biden pushes Trudeau
White House press secretary Jen Psaki says President Joe Biden and Prime Minister Justin Trudeau spoke by phone today about the blockades during a sidebar from a larger call with various world leaders about the situation in Ukraine.
Psaki says the two leaders agreed that the actions of the individuals who are obstructing travel and commerce between the two countries are having significant direct impacts on citizens’ lives and livelihoods.
She says Biden expressed his concern that U.S. companies and workers are experiencing serious effects, including slowdowns in production, shortened work hours and plant closures.
The pair also discussed stopping the flow of foreign funding to protesters.

Video shows an unconscious woman getting pummeled with a metal baton and a large wooden stick by D.C. Metro Police Officer Lila Morris. She appears to hit the woman with the wooden shillelagh four times in rapid succession before it breaks.
Army begins separation process for unvaccinated
