French prophet Nostradamus, hailed for predicting the Great Fire of London and Hitler’s rise to power, foresaw a war happening in Europe.
Although it is hard to pin down the exact dates of his predictions – laid out in his famous 1555 book Les Propheties – it is believed he envisioned there would be a major conflict this spring.
Among his 942 forecasts was the vague suggestion that France may face a threat from the east.
