A regional court in the southern German city of Ulm on Tuesday sentenced a 27-year-old man to life in prison for murder and attempted murder following a knife attack on two schoolgirls last year.
The killing, as the girls walked to catch their morning school bus, prompted a wave of shock and anger across Germany.
