Just days after the Moncton, N.B., city council drew nationwide jeers for cancelling its annual menorah display (a decision that was reversed on Monday ), the mayor of Canada’s fourth largest city looked to follow in their footsteps, announcing via a press release posted to X that she would not be attending the annual menorah lighting at Calgary’s city hall.
