Six people — four children and two adults — were killed inside a house in the Ottawa suburb of Barrhaven late Wednesday night, police say.
Calls to 911 started coming in at about 10:50 p.m., directing Ottawa police officers and paramedics to a house on the 300 block of Berrigan Drive. It’s a residential street off Strandherd Drive close to an elementary school and a high school.
