Michael Higgins: CBC won’t let poor performance stop $15 million in bonuses

The CBC is axing hundreds of jobs, reducing programming and can’t even put on a New Year’s Eve show. But it has still found the money to pay executives almost $15 million in “performance” pay.

With that kind of dismal performance, and splashing around that kind of bonus money, it’s no wonder that defunding the CBC is an increasingly popular topic of conversation.
