Feminists protesting new Scottish hate speech laws have been abused by pro-trans activists.
Women marching in Edinburgh against Humza Yousaf’s new legislation, which prominent critics including JK Rowling warned could criminalise airing gender-critical beliefs, including the view that men cannot change their sex, clashed with pro-transgender counter-demonstrators, it has been claimed.
Pictures from the march show demonstrators draped in the trans pride flag holding abusive placards.
