The new normal has mobs of Muslims clogging our streets along with their useful idiot liberal-left allies.
They scream and holler about Israel’s destruction while declaring they aren’t in the least antisemitic.
So how did we get here? Did a Muslim horde magically materialize out of thin air?
Turns out it wasn’t magic at all just very bad immigration policy.
Canada has nearly 2 million Muslim settlers resident primarily in urban centres.
The GTA now has the the largest Muslim diaspora in North America making up 10% of the region’s total population.
Most arrived via immigration or as refugees and of course Canada’s generous chain migration policy.
In the decade following 9/11 Liberal and Conservative governments doubled Canada’s Muslim population from 500K to 1 Million.
Plainly evident is that little or no thought was given to the compatibility of Islam with Canadian society by those we naively entrusted to formulate responsible immigration policy.
Our “betters” in Ottawa want bodies to meet immigration goals and win over ethnic vote blocs and they simply don’t care where those bodies came from.
I wish I had evidence that swamping Canada with incompatible cultures was an actual conspiracy but it likely boils down to the arrogance of our entitled political class who claim to know what’s best for we horrid anti-immigrant proles.
One thing is certain Islam does not do integration.
As their numbers have grown the Islamists have become bolder, better organized politically and so brazen that their cult’s spiritual call to violence is worn like a badge of honour.
October 7 triggered the bloodlust inculcated by the Koran and they’ve been flexing ever since.
I have no time for those who promote mass immigration, wave the talisman of moderate Muslim friends or speak of the benefits of interfaith dialogue and anti-West struggle sessions.
Islam is not moderate. If you attempt appeasement it will consider you weak and it most certainly will not eat you last no matter how many choruses of Kumbaya you sing.
With all that charm the Islamists have won over significant allies.
On board are large numbers of our politicians, academics, the Jewicidal, a complicit media, unions, and stupid young people hopped up on the drugs of DEI and CRT, multiculturalism and diversity.
Their poisoned dreams are of a society where we don’t exist and only officially vetted victims have inherited the earth.
I have published this blog since 2006 focusing on Islam’s refusal to integrate into our society and Europe’s ongoing struggle with Muslim migration.
Every year the situation has gotten worse.
The silence the Jewish community hears in response to calls for help against the tide of antisemitism is the indifference of a fractured society broken by mass immigration, of competing tribes without shared values, culture or history and of the people ignored and demonized.
Canada is not the Europe where Jews are warned to not wear anything indicating their faith and physical assaults are routine. Not yet but soon and thanks is owed to our political class.
We trusted our politicians to look after our best interests.
But they couldn’t be bothered and instead made profoundly cruel choices resulting in irreparable harm to our society.
Those choices trickle down resulting in everything from a neutered police response to Islamist aggression to calls for an UNRWA like education in our schools.
What motivated their cruelty? Was it ignorance? Votes? Contempt? Cushy post-politics sinecures on corporate boards? Jobs for their idiot children? It certainly wasn’t “good will”.
Those of us who spoke out against the folly of Islamic immigration were labeled Islamophobes, racists and White supremacists by politicians, the press and community grandees who all gasped in disgust that we would dare defend our own best interests.
We did not ask for Islamist mobs in our streets. We did not ask for mass immigration. We did not ask for the erasure of our culture and heritage. We do not deserve any of this.
I only hope that those who brought this blight to our shores, who poisoned our society, who treated us as the enemy in our own country will one day receive the justice they deserve.
Ideally that justice will be meted out by the Islamists they unleashed.
