Too many of our academic institutions have substituted rigorous research for racial activism. University of Leicester’s Centre for Hate Studies is just the latest example. They have published a report which warns of “rural racism” in the “overwhelmingly white” British countryside.
The researchers – who spoke to just 115 people and 20 community groups over a two-year period – also lamented the lack of religiously-sensitive facilities in rural areas that are defined by their traditional pub culture and other “monocultural customs”.
