Coachella descends into ‘CHAOS’ as attendees brand it ‘worst in history’ and demand refunds before gates open

Coachella appears to have already descended into ‘chaos’ with dozens of attendees already branding it ‘the worst in history’ and comparing it to the disastrous Fyre Festival – despite doors not even officially being open.

The iconic music festival held in California, which runs across two weekends every year, will open its gates later today to a sea of A-list celebrities and ticketholders.

But car campers have taken to social media in their droves this morning to relay the carnage in the car parks.

This and Burning Man seem to have lost their cache.

How immigration is concealing Canada’s economic crisis

As Canadians flex their patriotic muscles and hold “elbows up” in response to punishing U.S. tariffs, many might be surprised that another economic crisis has been percolating here for years — from inside the country.

It effectively dropped Canada into recession months ago, has left us as poor as the residents of Alabama and is so dire, the usually circumspect Bank of Canada warned it’s time to “break the glass” and sound the emergency.

For this at least, U.S President Donald Trump can’t be blamed.

Mass immigration has resuscitated hatred of women across Britain

Even many feminists don’t want to confront the reality of the racist and sexist attitudes that have been imported into Britain

Quite how the Government expected to hold “more than five” independent inquiries into grooming gangs for £5 million when the Telford inquiry alone cost £8 million is anyone’s guess.

Home Secretary Yvette Cooper now insists Labour hasn’t watered down its pledge to “deliver the meaningful change victims deserve” with the announcement of a “more flexible approach” involving the setting up of “victim-led panels”. Yet handing a pittance to the very local councils who seemingly turned a blind eye to these vile crimes for them to mark their own homework isn’t justice.

What election promises on housing would mean for Toronto and the GTA

The soaring cost of home ownership is a challenge facing people across Canada, arguably nowhere more so than in big cities like Toronto.

From the 1980s through the late 2000s, the price of the average home in Toronto and the surrounding Greater Toronto Area stayed within three to five times the average annual household income.

But since 2010, that ratio has shifted dramatically. The average home now costs nearly 10 times the yearly income of the average household, based on data from the Toronto Region Real Estate Board (TRREB) and Statistics Canada.

Combine that with the fact that Toronto and the GTA account for one in six seats up for grabs nationally in the federal election and it’s little wonder the main parties are trying to woo voters with promises to make housing more affordable.

Only the CBC could produce propaganda like this.

At no point is the Liberal Party’s scandalous mass-immigration policy mentioned as a cause of Canada’s horrific housing shortage.

Top secret American plan to turn soldiers gay

The US Air Force once made plans for a ‘gay bomb’ that would use chemical aphrodisiacs to make enemy soldiers ‘irresistibly attractive to one another.’

The bizarre plan, formulated by the military’s Wright Laboratory in 1994, was part of a six-year non-lethal weapons development project costing $7.5 million that was ultimately scrapped.

A three-page document obtained by the Sunshine Project, an anti-biological weapons organization, details the laboratory’s proposal for a bomb ‘that contained a chemical that would cause enemy soldiers to become gay.’

BROWN: The chance of a generational political betrayal looms large

The team from the National Citizens Coalition is in Ottawa this week at the Canada Strong and Free Networking Conference, the largest conservative gathering of its kind east of the Calgary Stampede, and to describe the mood as tense might be an understatement.

With less than three weeks until Election Day, the more trustworthy polls dead-locked, and the Liberal-paid push-polls showing them lapping the field, business leaders, broadcasters, third-party advocates, and energy champions such as Alberta Premier Danielle Smith and Saskatchewan Premier Scott Moe have made the trip to put in vital advocacy and organizing hours, to ensure the clock is able to strike midnight on a lost Liberal decade.

Liberals promised the carbon tax would reduce emissions, but emissions went up

The Trudeau government pushed the carbon tax as the best way to help the environment and reduce emissions.

But it’s clear a carbon tax in Canada wouldn’t be effective at lowering global emissions. That’s because Canada only makes up 1.4 per cent of global emissions, a fact former prime minister Justin Trudeau acknowledged.

“Even if Canada stopped everything tomorrow, and the other countries didn’t have any solutions, it wouldn’t make a big difference,” Trudeau said in 2018.

Carney will be worse.

Manicures and Manliness

Can men resolve toxic masculinity by wearing nail polish? Spoiler alert: no.

Can men help resolve their own toxic masculinity and mental health crises by wearing nail polish? This was the question posed about a recent pilot program which took “a small yet bold step” to solve men’s issues through gender nonconformity.

Dave Smith-Douglas Murray debate highlights Right-wing fault lines

Yesterday’s much-discussed debate between Douglas Murray and Dave Smith, hosted by Joe Rogan, almost perfectly epitomises the divide on the political Right. Murray is a neoconservative intellectual and one of the most prominent public defenders of Israel; Smith is an anti-war libertarian comedian and firm anti-Zionist. The conflict in Gaza has provided a clear fault line for their differences to be exposed.

Woke privilege: Why white elites love to boast about how guilty they feel.

With all the current debate about tariffs and trade, it would seem timely to talk about one of the worst American exports ever: the concept of ‘white privilege’. This notion – that you can have an automatic and decisive advantage in life because of your skin pigmentation, regardless of your class, sex or where you live – is one of the most divisive myths of our times.

The Slow Disintegration of Canada

W.B. Yeats once wrote that “the centre cannot hold.” In Canada’s case, this is increasingly true.

The country isn’t collapsing under the weight of competing separatist projects. Rather, it’s quietly dissolving under the acids of institutional unraveling, political incoherence, and a growing sense that regional interests and identities are more important than any sense of “Canadianness.” The problem, therefore, is not one of a dramatic crisis. It’s more one of incremental balkanization. Provinces aren’t formally breaking away from the Canadian confederation. Rather, they’re just increasingly doing their own thing – irrespective of Ottawa and the national vision that that city represents.
