Government Says It’s Unable to Catch All Foreign Fugitives in Canada

Not all foreign fugitives are able to be tracked, caught, and deported, according to the Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA).

“I think targets of 100 percent are rarely achievable,” Jonathan Moore, vice-president of CBSA, said during a Senate national finance committee meeting.

“What we have tried to do is increase our targets year over year.”

‘VERY DUPED’: Indigenous musicians upset over Buffy Sainte-Marie revelations

Buffy Sainte-Marie, wearing a shining dress and long necklace, was led on the stage by a group of Indigenous people in traditional regalia after she was inducted into the Canadian Music Hall of Fame in 1995.

Her iconic dark hair and fringe hung long as she told the crowd about the importance of artists from remote communities.

It’s interesting that many in the media defended Bluffy.

What Has Happened to the British Police?

Threats have gone virtually unchallenged at anti-Israel protests throughout the country, while the innocent have been penalized.

In 1975’s The Return of the Pink Panther, French inspector Jacques Clouseau (Peter Sellers) stands outside a bank, so busy reprimanding a blind busker (really a fully sighted lookout) for not having a license that he fails to notice that inside a robbery is taking place. When the robbers emerge, Clouseau mistakes them for members of the public and assists them into their vehicle. When the bank manager runs out, aiming his gun at the getaway car, Clouseau beats him over the head with his baton.

Who’s Funding the Pro-Hamas Rallies? Taxpayers.

In the last 15 years, Islamic political interests have dug deep into New York City politics. What does that mean? Beyond the obvious, political power, money. That’s what the currency of power comes down to anyway. And that means government contracts going to so-called community groups. More Muslims living in NYC meant more money was going into Islamist organizations. And much like funding Hamas, that adds up to pro-Hamas rallies.

MUST-SEE VIDEO: Why Muslim nations don’t want ‘Palestinians’

One of the things the left is desperately downplaying as it demands that Israel allow Hamas and its supporters to go unpunished and, ideally, cede to the Arabs the entire land of Israel is the fact that the surrounding Arab nations are refusing to take Gazans in as refugees. The reason is that nobody wants these “Palestinian” Arabs who have proven to be as destructive to Arab nations as they are to Israel.

The genius of the World at War

As the series marks its 50th anniversary, another conflict is breaking out

In one of the opening scenes of Evelyn Waugh’s Men at Arms, the central character Guy Crouchback vacates his Italian castle in 1939 once the approaching conflagration can no longer be ignored. “He expected his country to go to war in a panic, for the wrong reasons or for no reason at all, with the wrong allies, in pitiful weakness,” Waugh writes of his honourable, fallible stand-in. “But now, splendidly, everything had become clear. The enemy at last was plain in view, huge and hateful, all disguise cast off. It was the Modern Age in arms.” The looming catastrophe was, in all its awful novelty, the birth pangs of our own age.

Cosmopolistan

International cities are organised in a cabal to euthanise the antiquated nation-states of the West along with the international Westphalian system.

One of the central features of the diplomatic career is the practice of temporary assignments. In the beginning, before the centralisation of governments and the professionalisation of diplomacy, inter-governmental contacts were left to third parties such as merchants or clergymen. The practice was eventually discontinued because, not only were diplomatic mercenaries biased, self-interested, and unreliable, but they often ‘went native.’ The tendency for diplomats to empathise more with the native government rather than their employer became so prevalent that rules had to be devised to mitigate the problem.

In the UK, so many diplomats were seduced by the exoticism of India that they became known as the ‘white Mughals.’ In Portugal, the author Venceslau de Morais took his duties of Consul in Kobe to the extreme of becoming a Japanese citizen, even marrying and dying in the Oriental nation.

Hamas is now the armed wing of the culture of victimhood

‘We are the victims… therefore nobody should blame us for the things we do’

“We are the victims… therefore nobody should blame us for the things we do.”

Who do you think said this? Some blue-haired campus activist who’s convinced they’re suffering from structural oppression? A trans campaigner, perhaps, who thinks being misgendered is an act of violence? Maybe some other social justice type who feels victimised by everything from statues of old colonialists to un-PC jokes?

This Time Israel Will Finish The Job

There are many reasons for any sane person to regret the existence of Hamas, the savage Sunni Muslim militia that controls the Gaza Strip in Southern Israel. Founded in 1987, the group has specialized in terror attacks against Israelis while maintaining vigorous side-concessions fomenting anti-Western sentiment and keeping their own populace in a state of wretched poverty.

Such are the convoluted workings of providence, however, that the world may eventually find itself grimly grateful for what one percipient observer called “the Sabbath Massacres”: the barbaric slaughter perpetrated by Hamas on October 7, 2023, which left some 1,400 dead, thousands wounded, and more than 200 kidnapped and held hostage in Gaza.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has invited former President Trump to his country’s war zone, saying the former president “can’t manage this war.”

“Former President Trump said that about 24 hours, that he can manage it and finish the war,” Zelensky said during the interview that airs Sunday. “For me, what can I say? So he’s very welcome as well.”

Zelensky don’t know Trump.

‘Our government has failed us,’ says Canadian whose father is stuck in Gaza

The Rafah crossing, along the border dividing the Gaza Strip from Egypt and the only land exit from the war-torn Palestinian territory that’s not controlled by Israel, remained closed Sunday, a day after evacuations were suspended.

That development has left hundreds of Canadians who want to leave Gaza in limbo. Global Affairs Canada (GAC) had previously told them they could be allowed into Egypt as early as Sunday, but the crossing has remained closed all weekend.

Samah Al-Sabbagh, speaking Sunday to CBC’s Rosemary Barton Live from London, Ont., said her 73-year-old father is on the Global Affairs list to leave Gaza, but he remains in Gaza and his health is deteriorating.

And they all live in a four-way open relationship with their trans lovers …

An author has come out as a transgender man after his husband transitioned from male to female – and the couple now live in a four-way relationship with their trans lovers.

Rowan Jette Knox, formerly known as Amanda Jette Knox, announced on his social media in August that he was ‘re-introducing’ himself as a trans man.

The Toronto-based writer and activist, who started taking testosterone earlier this week, follows in the footsteps of his husband-turned-wife and son-turned-daughter.

They’re gonna love living under Hamas!

Ottawa police say they are investigating after someone snapped a picture of a sign comparing Israel to the Nazis at Saturday’s pro-Palestine rally.

The rally, which drew thousands of people, gathered on Parliament Hill Saturday afternoon before marching through downtown Ottawa. Many people waved Palestinian flags and had signs calling for a ceasefire in Gaza and condemning genocide.
