Tolerance for Meghan and Harry is wearing thin across the Pond. That’s saying something, because there was little tolerance to begin with. But after the latest trailer of their Netflix documentary was released online, even the staunchest Sussex fans are feeling fed up.

However you feel about the pair, their latest theatrics have opened them up for criticism. The trailer, which has been drip-fed over the last week is, in true Sussex style, chock full of inaccuracies that they must deem the British public too stupid to notice.

Anderson Lee Aldrich, who is nonbinary and uses they/them pronouns charged with hate crimes for shooting up Colorado gay bar

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (AP) — The suspect accused of entering a Colorado gay nightclub clad in body armor and opening fire with an AR-15-style rifle, killing five people and wounding 17 others, was charged by prosecutors Tuesday with 305 criminal counts including hate crimes and murder.

Anderson Lee Aldrich, 22, sat upright in a chair during the hearing and appeared alert. In an earlier court appearance just a few days after the shooting, the defendant’s head and face were covered with bruises and Aldrich had to be prompted by attorneys to respond to questions from a judge.

Dearborn man charged in antisemitic incident at Michigan synagogue

A Dearborn man has been charged with two counts of ethnic intimidation in what officials said was an antisemitic attack at a historic synagogue and preschool for Jewish students in Bloomfield Township.

Hassan Yehia Chokr, 35, was arrested by police after antisemitic and racist threats were made Friday against children, adults and security personnel outside Temple Beth El, Oakland County Prosecutor Karen McDonald said. He made remarks that were both anti-Jewish and anti-Black, said the temple’s leader.

The police call this de-escalation.

Adar Rubin, a Jewish community advocate in metro Detroit, posted a video on Twitter that showed an officer telling Chokr: “Do us a favor and don’t go back.” Chokr then said: “I won’t. … God bless you boys. … Get the real bad guys.”

‘Alarming escalation’ of espionage, foreign interference in Canada since pandemic: CSIS

OTTAWA — Canada’s spy agency has noted an “alarming escalation” of espionage and foreign interference since the beginning of the pandemic, with countries like China threatening or intimidating people in Canada into namely supporting a specific electoral candidate.

“These activities are real, they’re persistent, they’re increasing, and it’s not hypothetical, we see it everyday in our work. And these activities will be targeting all level of governments, whether it’s federal, municipal, provincial,” veteran CSIS intelligence analyst Noura Hayek told attendees of the Council on Governmental Ethics Laws conference Monday.

Can’t they identify the perps?

Can’t they deport them?

Why do CSIS’ hands seem to be tied?

Or is Canada’s China class preventing that action be taken?

Amnesty International Canada says it was target of cyberattack sponsored by the Chinese state

The Canadian branch of human rights organization Amnesty International says it was the target of a cyberattack it believes was sponsored by the Chinese state.

In a statement posted on its website, Amnesty International Canada said the digital security breach was first detected on Oct. 5, 2022, when suspicious activity was spotted on Amnesty’s IT infrastructure.

Guelph drag queen sees all-ages shows targeted by social media campaigns

A Guelph drag queen says their shows are being targeted by two Ontario-based social media campaigns, resulting in the cancellation of one event and the performer feeling uneasy about an upcoming show.

Last month, Crystal Quartz had a drag brunch organized at Kelseys Original Roadhouse in Burlington. But following threats made to the restaurant, management was forced to cancel, the restaurant confirmed to CBC Kitchener-Waterloo. Restaurant management couldn’t disclose information about these threats due to an ongoing police investigation.

The CBC does not deserve tax payer funding as it in no way represents Canadian culture and values. Where in it’s mandate does it say “Pimp for Drag Queens?”

PS. I note this article makes no reference to CAHN the  so called “anti-hate” group found to be in support of the violent  Antifa organization in a recent court ruling. CAHN had previously been the CBC’s go-to community advocate for men who dress as women.

1,200 university students ‘poisoned’ the night before planned anti-regime protests

Iranian news agency says students were struck down by ‘food poisoning’ which led to them dumping their food onto the streets

More than a thousand Iranian university students appear to have been poisoned the night before they were due to attend mass anti-regime protests being held across the country this week.

According to ISNA, an Iranian news agency, 1,200 students at Kharazmi and Ark universities were taken ill with vomiting, severe body aches and hallucinations. Similar illnesses were also reported at at least four other universities.

Prime Minister Justin Trudeau says he is “extremely worried” about the realities facing children and families across Canada as high levels of respiratory illness among kids continue to swamp pediatric hospitals across the country.

The situation is so dire in parts of Ontario that the Red Cross is coming to the aid of the Children’s Hospital of Eastern Ontario (CHEO), which had to open a second intensive care unit last month to treat what it called an unprecedented number of critically ill babies and children.

National Museum of Scotland agrees to return totem pole to indigenous people of British Columbia due to the ‘difficult legacies’ of Britain’s colonial past

A wooden totem pole taken from an indigenous Canadian community nearly a century ago is to be returned.

The decision to return the House of Ni’isjoohl Memorial Pole was announced by directors at the National Museum of Scotland who said the ‘difficult legacies’ associated with its display had forced them to reconsider its future.

Plans are under way to send back the hand-carved totem pole to the Nisga’a in British Columbia after a delegation requested its repatriation in August.

Liberal gun control bill raises questions about NDP support

OTTAWA — As criticism mounts against the government’s attempts to outlaw scores of hunting and sport rifles, questions are arising as to how the federal Liberals’ gun policy will impact their relationship with the NDP.

One prominent New Democrat came out against the policy on Monday, calling it a massive overreach that must be fixed.

This is the closest the NDP will ever get to power so they won’t risk that, besides they don’t want anyone to be able to defend themselves either.
