Honey Sherman would have controlled the ‘net income’ of husband Barry’s multibillion-dollar fortune had she lived, sources reveal

Barry Sherman’s will decreed that if he died, all “net income” from his multibillion-dollar estate would go to wife Honey for her “comfort and maintenance” and “anything else my wife directs,” according to new information the Star has obtained in its ongoing investigation of the 2017 double murder of the high-powered philanthropists.

Honey would not control “capital” decisions, such as whether to invest in or sell shares or a major asset. Still, all the net income after expenses from the operation of businesses like the generic drug giant Apotex or her husband’s many real estate holdings would be hers to do with as she pleased.

With both Shermans dead, the estate — net income and capital — passed directly to the four Sherman children, son Jonathon and his sisters Lauren, Alexandra and Kaelen, to be split equally, according to family sources. As the Star will reveal in coming days, there are ongoing disputes over control and succession of the Sherman empire.

Ontario reports 904 new Covid cases … and a majority doesn’t believe Trudeau will meet his vaccine rollout goal says poll

51% say Trudeau won’t meet his vaccine goal

As schools reopen in Ontario’s hardest-hit regions, experts urge province not to lift COVID restrictions

Weeks of online learning are coming to an end for thousands of students and parents as schools in Toronto and neighbouring Peel and York regions reopen — the last in Ontario to do so after the Christmas break.

Many medical experts — including a committee led by Toronto’s SickKids Hospital — have called for schools to be the priority as the Ontario government decides when and how to bring the hardest-hit regions out of COVID-19 lockdown.

As they watch the alarming rise of more contagious variants of the novel coronavirus, some public health officials and epidemiologists are warning that in areas with high community transmission, schools should be the only places to reopen in the immediate future.

IBM and the Holocaust — 20 Years of Corporate Denial

Twenty years ago this week, my book, IBM and the Holocaust exposed with crystal clarity—backed up with a literal tower of physical documentation—that IBM knowingly organized all six phases of the Holocaust: identification, exclusion, confiscation, ghettoization, deportation, and even extermination, all under the micromanagement of its celebrated CEO, Thomas Watson, Sr., operating from his New York office on Madison Avenue, and later through European subsidiaries.

The dangers of decadence

What starts as silliness can eventually turn into something far more sinister

Five years ago, I finally bailed from the Decadence Party. After rejecting a “rock and roll” lifestyle in my youth — I had seen how the strings were pulled as a teenage NME hack — I eventually made up for it by doubling down on the sex and drugs. But after caning it for three decades, I decided that I’d had enough. Predictably for a mid-50s matron, Christianity and volunteer work had a lot to do with it. I cleaned up overnight — and I can honestly say I don’t miss it a bit.

Exposing an Appalling Media Whitewash of a Vicious, Murderous Terrorist Group

Not everyone is a Middle East expert. In fact, few Americans are. But most if not all Americans should have some depth of knowledge about the Middle Eastern terrorist group Hezb’allah (translated as “party of god,” which is often written as “Hezbollah”).

We should be aware (because it should be taught and media should remind us) that on October 23, 1983, Hezb’allah murdered 241 U.S. servicemen and 64 others when it bombed the barracks housing the multinational peacekeeping force in Beirut, Lebanon. French servicemen and civilians were killed in the bombing as well. According to Marine Times: “The bombing killed 220 Marines, 18 sailors and three soldiers, and was the deadliest day the Marine Corps has seen since the fight for Iwo Jima, Japan, during World War II.”

Celebrity Idiot Sean Penn mocked for ‘religious ignorance’ after he calls Satan ‘Satin’ and assumes protestants follow the Vatican

Hollywood actor and liberal activist Sean Penn was ridiculed on social media after he appeared to assume evangelical Protestants are led by the Vatican, and referred to Satan as “Satin.”

“Evangelical leaders should themselves be impeached by the Vatican if they themselves don’t follow Nikki Haley’s lead & clearly state they should not have followed Satin into the bowels of hell. But, perhaps they are too busy at sex parties,”tweeted Penn on Saturday, seemingly frustrated at the lack of evangelical leaders who have condemned former President Donald Trump since his second impeachment trial – in which, like the first, he was acquitted.

Why is the BBC so scared of criticising Islam?

The Beeb’s removal of a clip featuring the new head of the Muslim Council of Britain is a chilling sign of the times.

If you want to understand what’s going wrong at the BBC right now, you could do worse than look at the bizarre Zara Mohammed controversy. The Beeb has removed from social media a clip of Ms Mohammed, the new head of the Muslim Council of Britain, being interviewed on Radio 4’s Woman’s Hour. Cancel-culture mobs had complained that the interview was a form of ‘bullying’ and that it had undertones of ‘Islamophobia’. And now the BBC has caved to these crazy, unfounded criticisms and shoved the interview clip in the memory hole. This reveals a lot about the great moral anchoring of the BBC in the 21st century.

Pelosi Announces Independent 9/11-Style Commission to Investigate Capitol Riot

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) stated that Congress will establish an independent, Sept. 11, 2001-style commission to look at the riot at the Capitol on Jan. 6.

“It is clear from his findings and from the impeachment trial that we must get to the truth of how this happened,” she said in a statement on Monday. “To protect our security, our security, our security, our next step will be to establish an outside, independent 9/11-type Commission to ‘investigate and report on the facts and causes’” of the riot.

A Post analysis of the latest state Health Department data shows that 5,443 nursing home residents have been killed by the coronavirus in the Big Apple.

Leftist Activists Try To Ban Researchers From Studying Transgender People

Nope. No mental illness here.

LGBT activists previously argued gender dysphoria may be affirmed by discoveries about individuals’ genetics and brain development. Harvard University researchers, for example, explored this viewpoint in depth in a 2016 article titled “Between the (Gender) Lines: the Science of Transgender Identity.

In studies published in 1995 and 2000, researchers looked at specific areas of the brain in both transgender adults and those who accept their sex. They found that male to female transgender people had specific brain areas more closely resembling that of gender-natural women, and the same for transgender men (females living as men).

U of C’s Cooper says O’Toole can’t defeat Prime Minister Justin Trudeau

Barry Cooper, professor of political science at the University of Calgary, openly doubts Erin O’Toole can lead his party to victory in the next federal election.

“Despite the difficulties that Prime Minister is in, with just about everything he touches turns to mud, nobody seems to be thinking that ‘what’s his name, I’ll remember the next day, the Conservative leader is a suitable replacement,’” Cooper said in an interview with the Western Standard.

“He’s not a particularly photogenic or appealing individual and then when he adds these policies that make him look like a Liberal, people would quite properly ask ‘Why would I vote for him?’”

Pathogen Pipeline: Chinese Agents In Canada Shipped Deadly Pathogens To The Wuhan Institute Of Virology

Justin Trudeau Xiangguo Qiu Keding Cheng – Everybody say Xi

It is “extremely unlikely” that the virus causing Covid-19 leaked from the Wuhan Institute of Virology (WIV), but for the World Health Organization there’s more to the story. According to WHO mouthpiece Peter Ben Emerek, the issue does not even warrant further study.

“Phew. That’s China off the hook, then,” wrote Miranda Devine of the New York Post.

Contrary to Emerek, a food safety and nutrition specialist, not a virologist, the WIV warrants plenty of further study. Consider, for example, recent revelations from the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation.
