Key details from Hunter Biden’s congressional testimony earlier this year are now in doubt thanks to documents provided to congressional investigators by two IRS agents who came forward last year with allegations of misconduct in the first son’s tax case.

But he and his faux special counsel might yet find a solution.

With the just-scheduled first presidential debate between President Biden and former president Trump only six weeks away, it appears the Democrats’ anti-Trump lawfare campaign is sputtering. Whether it revs up again in time for a pre-election federal trial will depend on how the Supreme Court resolves the immunity and obstruction cases that could have major ramifications for Biden Justice Department special counsel Jack Smith’s election-interference prosecution against Trump.

The Hunter Biden story has lots of strange twists and turns, but one of the strangest may be Kevin Morris.

Morris is a Hollywood lawyer who met Hunter at a Biden fundraiser, took over his investments, paid his bills and bought his artwork. Morris provided Hunter with $6.5 million in loans, which including paying his back taxes, covering rent, payments on a Porsche, lawyer fees, child support and whatever else might been on the tab.

A federal appeals court on Thursday rejected Hunter Biden’s attempt to appeal his federal gun charges ahead of his scheduled June trial.

The U.S. Third Circuit Court of Appeals denied Biden’s appeal of Delaware judge Maryellen Noreika’s denial of his three motions to dismiss the gun charges. The panel ruled that Biden lacked jurisdiction and failed to prove the orders are appealable, according to a court filing.

Hunter Biden is threatening to sue Fox News for “revenge porn” and is demanding that the news network retract all stories containing obscene photographs or references to photographs that were “stolen” from his infamous laptop.

The laptop was abandoned at a repair store in April 2019. After 90 days, it and its contents became the property of the shop’s proprietor, John Paul Mac Isaac, according to Mr. Mac Isaac’s attorney.

If you’re a Trump administration official and you refuse to appear in front of a partisan witchhunt committee, you can go to prison, but if you’re Joe Biden and you turn down an invite, well then you’ve somehow erased its existence.

At least that’s the theory that the media is going with in heralding Biden’s refusal to testify before the House Oversight Committee as the “end of the investigation”.

This week, we learned that the Department of Justice is seeking a harsher penalty for the person who reportedly stole the diary of Ashley Biden — the daughter of Joe Biden.

The Justice Department on Tuesday asked a New York district judge to sentence the woman who stole first daughter Ashley Biden’s diary to four to 10 months in prison for the crime.

​​Prosecutors for the US Attorney’s Office for the Southern District of New York had initially sought a sentence of six months of home confinement, followed by three years of supervised release, for Aimee Harris, who pleaded guilty in August of 2022 to conspiring to commit interstate transportation of stolen property in connection with the diary theft.

Hunter Biden’s attempt to have all his tax charges thrown out was defeated Monday, letting the criminal case against him move forward.

A federal judge in California decided against the younger Biden, The Hill reports.

The decision confirms Biden faces three felony charges and six misdemeanor charges in connection to tax evasion, filing a false return and failing to pay taxes between 2016 and 2019.

The Washington Post’s lead fake fact-checker Glenn Kessler accused House Oversight Committee Chairman James Comer of offering “scant” evidence of Biden family corruption but failed to dispute any of the oodles of evidence the Republican outlined in a recent interview.

In a conversation with Fox News’s Jimmy Failla on Monday, Comer gave a rundown of the evidence including the fact that nearly a dozen Biden family members received payments first shuffled through several Biden-linked bank accounts. The money was sourced from various business deals with foreign oligarchs who had a vested interest in making friends with a high-level U.S. official like a vice president. Those payments were also at the center of the IRS’s tax investigation against Hunter Biden.
