Are the Biden investigations serious? Yes, though more for what they portend for national security and the state of our politics than as a matter of potential criminal jeopardy.

As the evidence mounts, ever more risible are the president’s claims of noninvolvement in the Biden family’s leveraging of his political influence for eye-popping paydays courtesy of corrupt, anti-American regimes. Yet the Biden Justice Department remains indifferent, as if the issue were merely the personal peccadillos of the president’s ne’er-do-well son, Hunter.

Newly unearthed text messages suggest President Joe Biden may have been involved in his son and brother’s business deals with the Chinese, DailyMail.com can reveal.

Two weeks after a 2018 New York Times story exposed Hunter Biden’s connections to a corrupt Chinese Communist Party-linked oil firm CEFC, his uncle Jim Biden texted him saying: ‘you need a safe harbor’ and ‘I can work with you[r] father alone!’

The text messages, saved on Hunter’s abandoned laptop, are the latest in a growing body of evidence tying the President to Hunter’s shady overseas business deals.

Gary Shapley, an Internal Revenue Service (IRS) whistleblower, said that the federal agency “slow-walked” its investigation into the finances of President Joe Biden’s son, Hunter.

The IRS is declining to comment on explosive allegations from an anonymous IRS whistleblower that he and his team have been booted off the investigation into whether Hunter Biden cheated on his taxes. The whistleblower claims his defenestration came due to pressure from the Department of Justice.

It’s now unclear if the IRS is still investigating President Biden’s troubled son at all. A spokesman for the IRS told the Sun that he “cannot answer” whether the investigation continues. The Department of Justice did not respond to a request for comment.

At least five whistleblowers have come forward to allege wrongdoing by the Biden family in connection with business schemes and corresponding coverups.

The whistleblowers are in addition to the multitude of witnesses that Republican members of Congress have interviewed behind closed doors.

It’s in cahoots with the White House to deny, deny, deny.

The Biden family — Joe, Hunter, and all — are guilty of bribery, but the media is hiding it.

“My son has done nothing wrong.” It’s the mantra Joe Biden repeats regularly about his son Hunter as the president tries to cloak the Biden family’s greed behind the family’s grief.

As a friend emailed me yesterday, “In a reasonable world, this would be the biggest story about the biggest corruption episode at the highest level in our history.” Accordingly, now that the former news media of this country have been repurposed as propaganda organs, suppressing the documentary evidence of Biden family corruption revealed Wednesday morning by the House Oversight Committee headed by James Comer was a major priority of the day.

The House Oversight Committee has been investigating whether Joe Biden used his position to make money while selling influence during his Vice Presidency. So far, it’s found evidence showing that Joe, like a good mafia boss, kept his own nose clean and maintained plausible deniability by funneling money to his family rather than to his personal bank accounts. But it was a lot of money (more than $10 million) and a lot of influence—and not just to China but to Ukraine, too.

Remember the media panic of 2016-8? Thanks to a dirty-trick “dossier” from the Hillary Clinton campaign and hyperventilating from Democrats, the nation spent that time obsessed with the idea that Russian intelligence colluded with the Donald Trump campaign to interfere with the presidential election. This, of course, turned out to be nonsense — and malicious nonsense at that.
