Canada Is a Magnet for Hamas Members and Ottawa Refuses to Act

Last week, a Global News investigation uncovered that roughly 450 individuals with various roles inside Hamas have ties to Canada. These include Canadian citizens, permanent residents, and others with relatives or associates here. CSIS did not confirm if these individuals are currently under scrutiny. Global reported the agency “was investigating Canadians in Middle East terror groups, but declined to elaborate.”

Failing to Expel Chinese Spies Tells China, US That Canada Is ‘Open Territory’ for Chinese Infiltration: Scholar

When Canada does not expel Chinese spies operating within the country, it signals to China and the United States that Canada is “open territory” for Chinese infiltration, says Charles Burton, a China scholar and senior fellow of the Sinopsis think tank.

“We’re not expelling people that I believe CSIS knows are espionage agents,” Burton told MPs as he testified before the House of Commons procedure and house affairs committee on Nov. 27.

Quebec to ban public prayer in sweeping new secularism law

Quebec says it will intensify its crackdown on public displays of religion in a sweeping new law that critics say pushes Canadian provinces into private spaces and disproportionately affects Muslims.

Bill 9, introduced by the governing Coalition Avenir Québec on Thursday, bans prayer in public institutions, including in colleges and universities. It also bans communal prayer on public roads and in parks, with the threat of fines of C$1,125 for groups in contravention of the prohibition. Short public events with prior approval are exempt.

If nothing else, Danielle Smith is a disruptor

Every so often a Canadian politician comes along and decides he or she is ready to challenge the orthodoxy. In the 1950s and 1960s, it was Saskatchewan Premier Tommy Douglas, who insisted that universal, publicly funded medical care was possible in Canada, despite strong opposition from health care providers, which culminated in a doctors’ strike.

In the 1980s and 1990s, it was NDP MP Svend Robinson, who introduced a private member’s bill to legalize same-sex marriage years before it would actually become law (he was also the first openly gay MP). And roughly 10 years ago, it was then-Conservative leadership hopeful Maxime Bernier, who centred his candidacy on a pledge to scrap Canada’s supply management system for milk, eggs and poultry. Mr. Bernier lost the leadership because of it.

Chinese immigrants struggling to obtain security clearances for government jobs, senator says

A senator told a parliamentary committee that he’s hearing of immigrants from China, with marginal connections to the ruling Chinese Communist Party or other government bodies, who are finding it difficult to obtain security clearances for Canadian public-sector jobs.

Senator Yuen Pau Woo raised the matter during a meeting of the Senate committee on foreign affairs and international trade Thursday, where he asked officials from the Department of Global Affairs to address it.

I bet it’s easier for a ChiCom to land a Government job than a White Canadian.

Donald Trump’s fingerprints are all over Mark Carney’s Alberta deal

Basking in the glow of new-found friendship between Ottawa and Alberta, Premier Danielle Smith declared that this day would never have arrived if Justin Trudeau was still prime minister.

Burnaby man seeks damages from B.C., Canada over Cowichan Tribes ruling

A Burnaby resident says he is launching a proposed class-action lawsuit to seek damages over B.C. and Canada’s handling of Aboriginal land claims because of the uncertainty created around private land ownership.

J.R. Rampee Grewal said he is concerned that a recent B.C. Supreme Court ruling that granted the Cowichan Tribes Aboriginal title to lands in Richmond will have ramifications for private land holders throughout B.C. That ruling is being appealed by B.C., Canada, the City of Richmond, and the Musqueam and Tsawwassen First Nations.

Immigration minister denies knowledge of U.S. diplomatic directive to get Canada, allies to lower immigration

Federal Immigration Minister Lena Diab says she’s unaware of a directive that was reportedly sent to the U.S. Embassy in Ottawa from the Trump administration ordering its envoy to press Canada to lower most immigration levels.

Asked if Canada takes advice from the U.S. when setting Canada’s immigration levels, Diab said she consulted for months with economists, department officials and stakeholders across the country when deciding Canada’s immigration levels going forward.

Who in their right mind would discuss immigration with the evil morons governing Canada, a nation they deliberately ruined by mass migration.

U.S. to Press Europe and Other Allies on ‘Mass Migration,’ Document Says

Secretary of State Marco Rubio has ordered American diplomats in Europe and in Canada, Australia and New Zealand to press their host governments to restrict most immigration and to file reports if the governments appear to be overly supportive of immigrants, according to a document sent to U.S. embassies and consulates.

Mr. Rubio told the diplomats to emphasize the effects of criminal acts by immigrants to encourage greater entry restrictions, according to the document, which is a diplomatic cable dated Nov. 21. The text of the cable, which was obtained by The New York Times, has not been previously reported.

Terry Newman: Terrorism expert has a stark warning for Canada

Muslims desecrate public spaces with death cult rituals

Anti-Israel demonstrations and mass street prayers are about ‘conquering the streets,’ says Beni Sabti. ‘This is something very, very dangerous’

Iranian-born, Israeli terrorism expert Beni Sabti says the persistent presence of anti-Israel Hamas supporters in Canadian streets, their intimidation of Christians through mass prayers outside of churches and their open threats to the media are well-known forms of Islamist aggression. According to Sabti, Canada should be concerned about the possibility of its own October 7.

Gee if only Canada had people sounding the alarm on Islamist bullcrap all these years…

Deportations to be reported to Parliament each month under Conservative changes to border bill

Ottawa would have to report to Parliament every month on the number of foreign nationals who have been deported, including those with criminal convictions, under changes to the government’s border bill pushed through by the Conservatives.

A slew of amendments to Bill C-12, including boosts to immigration enforcement, passed in a marathon meeting of the Commons public safety meeting on Tuesday evening, where MPs scrutinized the bill until midnight.

We can hope the number will not be zero …
