Carney Liberals set target of 25% foreigners in the workforce to keep wages depressed & maintain housing shortage for Corporate welfare class’ gain

With Canada in the midst of a labour crunch, the Government of Canada has unveiled new targets to keep one-quarter of the the country’s labour force filled by immigrants.

The figure is contained in a new departmental plan released last Friday by Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada.

Alexander Brown: The latest population numbers are slightly down—but Canadian workers should still be worried

Last week, former Immigration Minister Marc Miller talked about how the Trudeau government’s large-scale immigration—particularly in the aftermath of the pandemic—was responsible for a significant share of Canada’s recent GDP growth. It’s true, of course, but it fundamentally misunderstands the purpose of immigration policy itself. It isn’t to boost growth in the short term merely by adding more people. It’s to be additive to Canada’s economy and society over the long term. This includes Canadian workers.

Geoff Russ: The last thing Canada needs is a lecture from pro-immigration ideologues … like Carney crony Mark Wiseman’s crew at Century Initiative

The Century Initiative has nothing to offer Canada apart from hubris, desperation and bad ideas. As the G7 Summit concludes in Alberta, a province that is key to unlocking true Canadian prosperity and dynamism, Canada cannot afford to listen to those who helped push the country into stagnation.

Last week, Century Initiative CEO Lisa Lalande penned an op-ed in the Toronto Star that not only attacked the federal government’s immigration cuts but also natural resources as a tool of economic growth.

Carney hired his pal Mark Wiseman as an advisor. He is a founder of the nation destroying Century Initiative determined to turn Canada into a 3rd world shithole.

Mass immigration is nothing more than an exploitive policy for profit scam by our elites and you and I are merely collateral damage.

I wonder where in the world Wiseman and Carney will choose to live after they succeed in turning Canada into an ungovernable dumpster fire.

‘Invisible poor’: Middle-income households making up to $125K annually getting squeezed out of the GTHA

The working middle class in the Greater Toronto and Hamilton Area – a group that includes teachers, nurses and other essential workers – have become “the invisible poor” and could soon be squeezed out of the region due to the ongoing housing crisis, a new report suggests.

On Tuesday, CivicAction published the first instalment of a four-part research series delving into the challenges middle-income workers in the GTHA face.

The authors of the report defined middle class workers as those making anywhere between $40,000 and $125,000 annually, based on data from Statistics Canada.

Mass immigration is policy for profit from which only our elites stand to gain.

Your impoverishment is part of the plan.

Canada’s giant immigration industry will have to get used to ‘intense’ public debate

Douglas Todd: Worries about media coverage are emerging from the thousands of lawyers, agents and others in Canada paid to smooth the way each year for millions of migrants.

When I was asked to address members of the immigration division of the Canadian Bar Association, I expected an audience of maybe 25 to 50 lawyers.

But last Saturday, 400 immigration lawyers showed up at the Victoria Convention Centre to hear what three Canadian journalists and a think-tank member had to say about the media’s impact on migration.

The panel was asked to address immigration lawyers’ fears that heightened media coverage is “sparking intense public debate” and influencing “how immigrants are perceived and how decisions are made.”

Feck the weasel Lawyers.

We need a Trump to shut Carney’s Immigration scam down before Canada is lost for good.

I will settle for annexation rather than see Canada turned into a 3rd World Dumpster.

Criminal Home Builders Who Flout Canadian Law Need More Illegal Alien Labour To Fix Housing Crisis Caused By Mass Immigration Says Star

Canada is making it harder for immigrants to help build much-needed homes — despite the construction industry’s growing reliance on them

Arjan has wired electricity for some of the GTA’s biggest construction projects, including condo towers and office buildings, doing work that lights up homes across the city while he remains in the shadows as an undocumented worker.

Despite more than a decade in Canada, a diploma in electrical engineering from Sheridan College and years of experience in a sector facing severe labour shortages, he has no status.

The no longer licensed electrician came to Canada in 2014 as an international student and worked legally for a construction company for several years.

The industry figures quoted display a real fondness for cheap foreign labour.

Record flood of investors behind Canada’s housing crisis

Douglas Todd: Canada’s distorted housing market calls for more than ‘cranes on the skyline,’ given that investors now own one in three homes. There are other ways.

This week three of four Canadians declared they have no confidence in Prime Minister Mark Carney’s ideas for solving the country’s housing affordability crisis.

Like most premiers and mayors, Carney is promising to “build, baby, build” to stimulate a record amount of housing construction. But Angus Reid Institute polling suggests the public is more than skeptical, perhaps in despair.

While voters understandably get lost in the complexities of solving a house-price catastrophe that sees average prices at a ridiculous $1.2 million in Greater Vancouver and $1.1 million in Toronto, at least one veteran housing analyst is making a clear and devastating case that Canada’s dilemma is being significantly fanned by a wave of investors.

Terry Glavin: We’re not Los Angeles yet, but it might be coming

Despite Carney’s vow to scale back immigration, the numbers keep going up — not counting those living here illegally

After several days of riots and rabble-rousing in response to the Trump administration’s ham-fisted determination to round up illegal immigrants, downtown Los Angeles was placed under curfew on Tuesday. The disorder has spread to more than a dozen American cities. There have been scores of arrests.

It has all made for great television and amusing political theatre, with Democrats shouting righteously about the rule of law and due process while ignoring their own support for “sanctuary” laws that undermine their own government’s capacity to enforce federal immigration legislation. Not to be outdone, Donald Trump’s Republicans have invoked the 18th-century Alien Enemies Act to back their plans for mass deportations. The 1798 law was about pirates.

Anthony Koch: The commodification of citizenship and the downfall of western civilization

The West has committed a grave philosophical error: we have come to view countries not as civilizations but as corporations, and citizenship not as a sacred bond but as a kind of customer loyalty program.

Nowhere is this more evident than in Canada, where national identity has been hollowed out and replaced with an abstract collection of economic indicators and talking points: growth is good, immigration is GDP, diversity is strength. The country, we are told, is “open for business,” but rarely do we hear what that business is for.

CHARLEBOIS: Our dairy addiction is making Canada a trade pariah

When it comes to supply management and trade policy, Canada seems trapped in a cycle of repeating the same costly mistakes.

Before Mark Carney’s arrival as prime minister, the previous Parliament adopted Bill C-282, introduced by the Bloc Quebecois. The bill granted blanket immunity to Canada’s supply-managed sectors — most notably dairy — against any future concessions in trade negotiations, regardless of the partner or economic context. It effectively locked in protectionism for a system that is already struggling to justify itself in the modern global economy.

Canadian Unemployment Soars, Driven By Immigration More Than Tariffs

Canada’s economy was dealt another blow last month, and it wasn’t due to tariffs. Statistics Canada (Stat Can) data shows the unemployment rate climbed aggressively in May, hitting a new multi-year high. Despite the narrative of tariff-induced job losses, the country managed to add a few thousand jobs. Rising unemployment continues to be driven by an aggressive immigration strategy, which added four workers for every job last month.

‘Immigration is supposed to be a benefit… what’s happening here is making life worse for many Canadians.’

Canada is undergoing one of the most far-reaching demographic experiments in the Western world. In 2023 we admitted 1.25 million newcomers — a historic high — pushing our population past 40 million. Immigration now accounts for 98 percent of national population growth, driven by deliberate Liberal policy under former Prime Minister Justin Trudeau.

Despite growing public concern, the much-touted “cutbacks” Trudeau announced just before his departure in January set a target of 395,000 new permanent residents for 2025 — plus an astounding 673,000 temporary foreign workers, seasonal workers and international students. Pledges to “stabilize” population growth have done almost nothing, widening the gap between policy and public sentiment.

Canada’s unemployment rate could reach 7.5% as Liberal Gov’t & Corporate Canada continue to massively abuse immigration

Canada’s unemployment rate could hit 7.5 per cent as more newcomers are admitted to the country than expected after the government made massive cuts last year to its immigrant targets, says a new report.

“Visa approvals for temporary residents have picked up, which suggests that, rather than contracting as the government previously outlined, the population will continue to grow this year,” Harry Chambers, an assistant economist at Capital Economics Ltd., said in a note. “This will keep upward pressure on labour force growth and we now expect the unemployment rate to peak at 7.5 per cent, rather than seven per cent.”

Citizenship by descent legislation: Liberal Party dreams up new way to cheapen Canadian citizenship & swamp the country with incompatible cultures

The federal government has tabled a new bill that would allow Canadians born abroad to pass citizenship by descent to children born overseas via a test to prove family ties to the country.

Bill C-3 is meant to satisfy a court order that has ruled the current two-generation cut-off provisions of the Citizenship Act is unconstitutional because it limits the automatic passage of citizenship to the first generation of Canadians who were born outside Canada.

“Citizenship is more than a legal status — it’s a profound connection to the values, history and spirit of Canada,” Immigration Minister Lena Metlege Diab said in statement on Thursday.

Sabrina Maddeaux: The U.K. Labour Party is finally doing something on immigration. Why can’t Canada?

Across the Atlantic, an unlikely beacon of hope has emerged for correcting Western immigration excesses: British Prime Minister Keir Starmer, who leads the U.K.’s centre-left Labour Party. This May, he announced sweeping new rules that should set a new standard for serious immigration reform regardless of political ideology.

In Canada, though most politicians will now admit we’ve massively messed up the immigration file, their vision for fixing the problem lacks clarity and sufficient ambition. Canadian leaders would be wise to take inspiration from Starmer’s immigration overhaul for an urgent made-in-Canada reset.

There’s a reason Muslims own our streets.

Their votes certainly count.

But there’s more.

Canada is run by criminals.

Our elites deliberately imported incompatible cultures as a divide and conquer tactic to ease the way for their mass immigration scam.

They criminalized citizens labeling them Racists and Islamophobes for objecting to having their country stolen from them.

This was done so our political class and our corporate class could exploit for personal gain the shortages created by the chaos of mass immigration.

The elites know they are guilty of a heinous crime.

The Jewish community is just collateral damage, an easy sacrifice to keep the Muslims and their useful idiots onside.

The elites will use the Mohammedans as their thugs while the Great Replacement continues apace.

Your replacement.
