Anthony Furey: It’s Just Bizarre That Some People Still Want COVID Measures

Let’s start off with a little pop quiz. Please read this headline from CTV News and tell me the year the story was published: “Ontario will not require masks in schools this fall despite uptick in COVID cases.”

I’d like to think that it is from 2021, and that while people were still relatively concerned about the virus, the government determined that it should be up to parents whether or not their kids wore masks in class.

Alas, this is not true. Ontario still mandated masks at that time.

Fauci roasted as ‘fraud’ and ‘liar’ after being confronted with damning study on masks

Social media erupted after Dr. Anthony Fauci was confronted by a CNN host with a study showing face masks made little to no difference in the course of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Conservative critics pounced on the former White House chief medical adviser after he acknowledged the masking study during the Saturday segment — while continuing to insist that, at an individual level, other research shows face coverings are effective at curtailing the spread of the virus.

Ivermectin makes a comeback

It should never have been banned

Writing for the Brownstone Institute, Debbie Lerman asked a provocative question: ‘What If There Had Been No Covid Coup’ and the leading US public health agencies had been left in charge of the pandemic response? Instead, it was taken over by the National Security Council and the departments of defense and homeland security. The prevailing assumption being, of course, that the same set of responses would have unfolded over the next two to three years. She refutes this and explains with great clarity and considerable plausibility why the national security elite had to take over and what the implications are.

The Delights of the Pfizer/Moderna Catfight

I am a bit embarrassed to admit that I am taking a perverse pleasure in watching this catfight between Pfizer/BioNTech and Moderna play out. Not to gloat, but I find it validating and rather satisfying to watch these companies file lawsuits and counter lawsuits that boil down to a schoolyard squabble over who came up with the ideas and initial proof of concept for using mRNA for developing drugs and vaccines – when neither actually did the initial “proof of concept” work. Companies that have exploited and unethically weaponized my early work and ideas for enormous profit while also seeking to write me out of history. “O what a tangled web.”

A new CSIS ad campaign is using Soviet-style imagery to warn Canadians about disinformation

Canada’s spy agency is leaning on Soviet imagery to help prime the public against disinformation, but experts say Moscow is more likely to use images that make readers think the messaging is coming from North American sources.

Last month, the Canadian Security Intelligence Service (CSIS) started posting on social media about its efforts to counteract deliberately misleading information online.

The posts feature a font that resembles the Cyrillic alphabet, featuring stars instead of dots and the letter N appearing backwards.

No Masks, Please, We’re Rational

Maskaholics are incorrigible. The rest of us should pay them no heed.

Unfazed by data, scientific research, or common sense, the maskaholics are back. In response to an uptick in Covid cases, they’ve begun reinstating mask mandates. So far, it’s just a few places—a college in Atlanta, a Hollywood studio, two hospitals in Syracuse—but the mainstream media and their favorite “experts” are working hard to scare the rest of us into masking up yet again.

How lockdown created a ‘cancer bomb’

NHS waiting lists have reached record highs this year. In June, 7.6million people in England were waiting to start treatment. Almost 400,000 people have been waiting for over a year. Much of this backlog can be traced back to the lockdowns in 2020 and 2021, when patients suffering from anything other than Covid were warned to stay away from hospitals. This misguided attempt to ‘protect the NHS’ left illnesses undiagnosed and led to severe delays in treatment. Most serious of all has been the disruption to cancer care, which some experts now warn could be as deadly as the pandemic itself.

Canada: Civil Rights Group Concerned About Excess Deaths and Lack of Data, Interest in Topic

A civil rights advocacy group known for fighting COVID-19 public health restrictions in court says not enough is being done to examine the current phenomena of excess mortality in the country.

In its report “The rise of excess and unexplained deaths in Canada” published on Aug. 25, the Justice Centre for Constitutional Freedoms (JCCF) raises a number of questions about an issue for which there are currently few answers.

Guilbeault heeds call to kiss Xi Jinping’s ass brushes off opposition calls to cancel China climate trip

Steven Guilbeault Enjoys Kissing Xi Jinpings Ass

Canada’s environment minister travels to China today to attend diplomatic meetings with an international group that advises Beijing on climate change — and he’s ignoring opposition calls for him to quit the group and call out China over human rights abuses and alleged interference in Canadian elections.

Steven Guilbeault is attending the annual general meeting of the China Council for International Cooperation on Environment and Development (CCICED), along with representatives of the United Nations, from Aug. 28 to 30 in Beijing.

In an interview with CBC News before his departure, Guilbeault stopped short of committing to bringing up China’s interference in Canadian democracy and its human rights record during his trip.

Give credit to to the ChiComs they own the Liberal Party. No other nation runs cover for China’s greenscam better than Canada thanks to the Liberal party.

Beware the creeping return of mask mandates

This week a handful of American schools, businesses and healthcare facilities re-imposed mask mandates and other Covid safety policies. This provided an opportunity for lobby groups and our new Covid safety subculture to advocate for the return of the “new normal” media narrative: a “surging” virus is meeting a “complacent” population that will need to be “nudged” to do the “right thing”.

Biden probe censored expert claims that COVID was likely genetically engineered in a laboratory

US President Joe Biden’s 90-day probe into the origins of Covid-19 censored the input of intelligence agency scientists who concluded the virus was most likely genetically engineered.

In May 2021, President Biden tasked the Intelligence Community with providing an assessment into how the pandemic began after reports, first published by Sky News, that researchers at the Wuhan Institute of Virology had been hospitalised with COVID-like symptoms in November 2019 in the suspected first cluster of the pandemic.

Biden got his 10%.

The US biowarfare project which caused the Covid-19 debacle – Part 1

WHEN Dominic Cummings testified before Parliament in June 2021 and he was asked about the UK Covid Vaccine taskforce, he said: ‘What Bill Gates and people like that said to me and others at No 10 was, “You need to think of this much more like some of the classic programmes of the past – the Manhattan Project in World War Two or the Apollo programme – and build it all in parallel. In normal Government accounting terms, that is completely crazy, because if nothing works out you have spent literally billions building all these things up, and the end result is nothing – you get zero for it, it’s all waste.’

Doctor sues Queen’s University for allegedly pushing him out of job over his COVID opinions

When the frightening, frantic first waves of COVID-19 hit Canada in March 2020, Dr. Matt Strauss worked in intensive care at a Kingston, Ont., hospital and taught at Queen’s University medical school.

He volunteered for extra shifts at Kingston Health Sciences Centre to help with the crush of patients, but a much less dramatic development now anchors his public place in the pandemic: he started sharing his thoughts about pandemic response.
