Lockdown ‘damaged a generation’, says former chief medical officer

The doctor who was once the country’s most senior medic has told the UK Covid-19 Inquiry that lockdown “damaged a generation” of young people.

In an emotional evidence session, Professor Dame Sally Davies, the former chief medical officer (CMO), also apologised to families who lost loved ones during the pandemic for their “harrowing” experiences.

Dame Sally, who was England’s CMO from 2011 to 2019, said she was upset by the impact of Covid and lockdown policies on children and young people despite being in favour of the first national shut down.

U.S.-Funded Scientist Among Three Chinese Researchers Who Fell Ill Amid Early Covid-19 Outbreak

A prominent scientist who worked on coronavirus projects funded by the U.S. government is one of three Chinese researchers who became sick with an unspecified illness during the initial outbreak of Covid-19, according to current and former U.S. officials.

The identity and role of the researchers is one piece of intelligence that has been cited by proponents of the judgment that the pandemic originated with a lab leak, though the nature of their illness hasn’t been conclusively established.

Report: U.S. Taxpayers Bankrolled Dangerous Research By ‘Covid Patients Zero’ In Wuhan

A hypothesis about the origins of Covid-19 censored by Big Tech and labeled a “conspiracy” by corporate media, the federal government, and World Health Organization (WHO) is now backed by new evidence. Documents obtained by a Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) request show U.S. taxpayers funded the research of three Wuhan Institute of Virology lab staffers in China whom U.S. officials told reporters are “patients zero” for Covid-19.

The Main Covid Lockdown Casualties: Children

Suicide and homicide rates for young people hit a 20-year high.

The evidence keeps piling up that children were the biggest casualties of the government’s response to Covid. The latest comes from a new Centers for Disease Control and Prevention report that youth homicides and suicides hit a 20-year high in 2021 following lockdowns and the turn to progressive policing.

Joe Rogan challenges Dr. Peter Hotez to debate anti-vaxxer RFK Jr. on his podcast

Podcast host Joe Rogan challenged vaccine researcher Dr. Peter Hotez to debate presidential candidate and anti-vaxxer Robert F. Kennedy Jr. after he criticized the Democratic presidential candidate for doubling down on his controversial stance on “The Joe Rogan Experience” last week.

Rogan pledged to donate $100,000 to a charity of Hotez’s choosing if he agreed to the appear with the political scion, who has launched a longshot bid to dethrone President Biden in the 2024 Democratic primary.

Canadian Military’s COVID Vaccine Mandate Violated Charter Rights, Grievance Review Committee Finds

A military administrative tribunal has found the Canadian Armed Forces’ (CAF) COVID-19 vaccine mandate violated the charter rights of members who refused vaccination and said the policy was “arbitrary” in some aspects and “overly broad.”

“I conclude that the limitation of the grievors’ right to liberty and security of the person by the CAF vaccination policy is not in accordance with the principles of fundamental justice because the policy, in some aspects, is arbitrary, overly broad and disproportionate,” wrote Nina Frid of the Military Grievances External Review Committee (MGERC) in a May 30 decision.

Did vaccine scientist ‘thrown to his death’ have proof of Wuhan lab leak?

A Chinese military scientist who was reportedly thrown to his death from the roof of a Wuhan institute is at the centre of mounting evidence that the Covid pandemic resulted from a lab leak.

Intelligence obtained by members of the US Senate reveals that Zhou Yusen filed a patent for a Covid-19 vaccine on February 24, 2020, barely a month after China put Wuhan into lockdown because of the outbreak.

US vaccine developers told investigators that it would have been impossible to have generated the data cited in the patent so swiftly – it would have taken about three months’ work, meaning that scientists at the Wuhan Institute for Virology were secretly working on a Covid vaccine in November, two months before Beijing told the world about the pandemic.

We now know the first three people to get COVID worked in the Wuhan lab: Will the US government act?

It is no longer a question that the COVID-19 virus leaked from China’s notorious Wuhan Institute of Virology laboratory.

What’s more, this week my colleagues Matt Taibbi, Alex Gutentag, and I broke the explosive story that the first three people sickened by the virus were the scientists experimenting with SARS-like coronaviruses.

Sources within the US government say that three of the earliest people to become infected were Ben Hu, Yu Ping, and Yan Zhu. All were members of the Wuhan lab.

When the Scandal of the Century Has No Consequences

Since at least 2017, China’s People’s Liberation Army has been engaged in virology research with potential military applications at the Wuhan Institute of Virology (WIV), according to an investigative report published this week in the Times of London. And according to the secret Chinese communications intercepted by U.S. investigators that inform the Times report, this “covert project of dangerous experiments” being conducted at the infamous lab was likely a direct predicate for the global outbreak of Covid-19.

Three Wuhan lab scientists genetically altering Covid were the FIRST to contract the virus, claims report

Three Wuhan lab scientists who were genetically altering the Covid virus were the first to fall sick with it, a new investigation has claimed.

According to multiple US government officials interviewed as part of a lengthy inquiry by independent news outlet Public and Racket, the first people infected by the virus are allegedly Ben Hu, Ping Yu, and Yan Zhu.

They were all members of the Wuhan lab suspected to have leaked the pandemic virus and were partaking in gain-of-function research at the Wuhan Institute of Virology (WIV) on SARS-like coronaviruses.

Covid planners gave ‘potentially massive’ lockdown impact ‘very little thought

National lockdowns were given “very little thought” ahead of the pandemic and there was a failure to consider the “potentially massive impact” that restrictions on civil liberties would have, the Covid Inquiry has heard.

As the inquiry held its first full hearing two years after it was first announced, Baroness Heather Hallett, who chairs it, was told the country was not prepared for the pandemic and that local health officials found out details of restrictions at the same time as the public.

Giving an opening statement to the hearing, Hugo Keith KC, counsel for the inquiry, said there had been “very little debate pre-pandemic” around whether a lockdown might be necessary and how it could be avoided.

The UK is in the midst of a very robust Covid response analysis, lockdowns are the sort  of evil petty tyrants live for.

Where are our COVID-19 public inquiries?

“When the time is right, our government will be very open to examining very thoroughly the response of this country to the COVID-19 crisis,” then health minister Patty Hajdu assured Canadians in April 2021. A year later, a Research Co. poll suggested two-thirds of Canadians were keen on seeing a public inquiry into both the federal and provincial governments’ pandemic responses — and rightly so. The list of questions is practically endless, but most are simply variations on a theme: “Why did you do what you did?”; “Did it work?”; And most crucially, “How do we ensure our health-care and long-term care systems are never so vulnerable again?”

What really went on inside the Wuhan lab weeks before Covid erupted

Fresh evidence drawn from confidential files reveals Chinese scientists spliced together deadly pathogens shortly before the pandemic

Scientists in Wuhan working alongside the Chinese military were combining the world’s most deadly coronaviruses to create a new mutant virus just as the pandemic began.

Investigators who scrutinised top-secret intercepted communications and scientific research believe Chinese scientists were running a covert project of dangerous experiments, which caused a leak from the Wuhan Institute of Virology and started the Covid-19 outbreak.
