Winnipeg-to-Wuhan Mystery Deepens

Dr. Xiangguo Qiu, the former program director at Canada’s National Microbiology Laboratory (NML) who transferred deadly pathogens to the Wuhan Institute of Virology (WIV), and her husband, Keding Cheng, are missing from Winnipeg and may no longer even be in Canada, according to John Woods of the Canadian Press.

The Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) “wouldn’t say if they  know where the pair is,” and the case remains shrouded in secrecy. On the other hand, some fascinating facts have already emerged.

Ontario reports 574 new Covid cases … and really it’s still lockdown

Ontario reports 574 new Covid cases … and really it’s still lockdown

Most of Ontario enters first stage of reopening, loosening COVID-19 restrictions

Outdoor dining and shopping at non-essential retail stores can resume in most of Ontario today as the province enters the first stage of its economic reopening plan.

New COVID-19 infections and hospitalizations have dropped in recent weeks, allowing the province to loosen some pandemic restrictions.

Outdoor gatherings of up to 10 people and patio dining of up to four people per table are among the activities now permitted.

CDC to no longer ‘count’ cases of post vax Covid19 unless they die or are hospitalized

So now the pants are down as well as mask off and shirt gone. This entire ‘pandemic’ has been entirely a game of relabeling things and moving goal posts to get the result they want. The most obvious fraud being the use of PCR tests, in Ontario at up to and over 40 cycles, to determine a “case” when the person wasn’t even sick. And now, to make the vaccines look more effective at what they are sold for as opposed to what they actually do, they stopped counting “breakthrough” cases unless…

‘Claims could run into billions’: the interests at stake if Olympics in Japan were cancelled

The least divisive statement in the saga surrounding Tokyo 2020 – assuming, as many people now do, that it will happen in just over 40 days’ time – is that it will be an Olympics like no other.

Overseas fans have been banned; athletes will spend what for many will be the pinnacle of their career sealed off from the outside world; GPS-tracked journalists hoping to escape their hotel rooms for a late-night fix of ramen risk being put on the next flight home.

Since their unprecedented postponement in March last year, as the coronavirus began its surge around the world, the Games have been stripped of almost every vestige of what makes them the most anticipated event in the sporting calendar.

G7 leaders will call for fresh WHO inquiry into Covid origins, leaked communique suggests

G7 leaders will call for fresh WHO inquiry into Covid origins, leaked communique suggests

Leaders at the G7 summit will call for a new, transparent investigation by the World Health Organization into the origins of the coronavirus, according to a leaked draft communique for the meeting.

The call was initiated by Joe Biden’s administration and follows the US president’s surprise decision to expand an investigation by the country’s intelligence agencies into the origins of the pandemic.

A draft communique, first seen by Bloomberg News, calls “for progress on a transparent, evidence-based, and expert-led WHO-convened phase 2 study on the origins of Covid-19, that is free from interference”.

A WHO inquiry? That’s like asking Al Capone to investigate the Mafia.

‘Wake-up call for Canada’: Security experts say case of 2 fired scientists could point to espionage

Justin Trudeau Xiangguo Qiu Keding Cheng – Everybody say Xi

China says its scientific co-operation with Canada should not be politicized, responding to questions about two scientists fired from Canada’s only Level 4 lab — a case that has led to an RCMP investigation, demands for details in Parliament and concerns about Chinese espionage.

Very few people know why Dr. Xiangguo Qiu and her biologist husband, Keding Cheng, were marched out of the Winnipeg-based National Microbiology Lab (NML) two years ago and stripped of their security clearance. They were officially fired last January.

However, two national security experts believe the case of the scientists raise the possibility of Chinese espionage.

Toronto city bylaws requiring people to wear masks in public and keep a six-foot distance from others will be extended to October, council voted Wednesday.

China’s Vaccine Propaganda: Maligning the US, Bribing the World

Their vaccines come with strings attached.

Last week, the World Health Organization (WHO) approved China’s Sinovac vaccine for COVID-19, following its approval of China’s Sinopharm last month. The WHO can now distribute both vaccines through the COVID-19 Vaccines Global Access (COVAX) program, which distributes COVID-19 vaccine to the developing world. China is poised to export over one billion COVID-19 doses abroad in 2021 alone, according to Chinese state-run media outlet the Global Times.

Vaccination status cards may be the ticket to reopening the Canada-U.S. border

EDMONTON — As pressure mounts on the Canadian government to reopen the land border with the U.S., experts say incentivizing Canadians to become fully vaccinated by providing greater freedoms and less restrictions to those who are is a good place to start.

“We know from evidence and experience the world round that two weeks beyond a full vaccination status, the risk of transmitting this virus is next to zero,” Dr. Abdu Sharkawy, infectious disease expert, told CTV’s Your Morning Wednesday.

An unlikely genome sequence is evidence that COVID-19 leaked from a lab, two U.S. experts say

A natural emergence is still possible, but COVID-19 has a genetic footprint that has never been seen before in a natural coronavirus and suggests the virus originated in a lab, say two U.S. experts.

Dr. Steven Quay and Richard Muller made the assertion Sunday in an opinion piece in the Wall Street Journal and based it on the genomic sequencing patterns of COVID-19 and large discrepancies in its genetic diversity compared to the other coronaviruses responsible for SARS and MERS.

UK Covid cases rise 74% in a week jeopardizing “Freedom Day”

Boris Johnson today gave the biggest hint yet that the June 21 ‘Freedom Day’ will be pushed back because of the rapid spread of the Indian Covid variant as he admitted ‘everybody can see cases are going up’ and accepted there were ‘arguments on both sides’.

The Prime Minister’s comments mark a softening in his lockdown-ending stance after previously saying there is nothing in the data to suggest the date should be delayed.

It came after the UK recorded another 7,540 positive tests in the biggest week-on-week spike since February, as the mutant strain continues to spiral.

Emails Reveal How Influential Articles That Established COVID-19 Natural Origins Theory Were Formed

The two most significant articles promoting the “natural origins” theory for the COVID-19 outbreak originated from scientists who were part of a response team of “experts” brought in by the National Academies of Sciences, Engineering, Medicine (NASEM), in response to a request from a White House official.

These influential articles were used extensively by media organizations to push the natural origins theory, while simultaneously deriding alternative theories—including that of a possible lab leak—as conspiracy theories.

Ontario reports 411 new Covid cases and I still can’t get a haircut unless I make a run for the border

Changes to Canada-U. S. border restrictions could be announced as soon as Friday

OTTAWA—An announcement could come as soon as Friday on how fully vaccinated people can more easily travel between Canada and the U.S as the first step in a plan to reopen the border.

Less than eight per cent of the Canadian population is at that mark, and although about 42 per cent of Americans have had both shots, the announcement is unlikely to mean hordes of tourists can come roaring across the border this weekend.
