This week marks five years since Toronto billionaires Barry and Honey Sherman were killed in their home, and their son — Jonathon Sherman — has announced he’s adding $25 million to the reward set up to help solve the case.

The Shermans were found slain in their North York mansion on Dec. 15, 2017. Autopsy reports showed the couple died by strangulation, and police have said there were no signs of forced entry to their home.

“Closure will not be possible until those responsible for this evil act are brought to justice,” Jonathon Sherman said in a statement shared exclusively with CBC Toronto.

This is the “Son” a sibling has accused of being complicit in the murders.

A glove discovered by a former homicide detective outside the house where four University of Idaho students were stabbed to death is raising questions on social media.

Kaylee Goncalves, Madison Mogen, Xana Kernodle and Kernodle’s boyfriend Ethan Chapin were found dead in an off-campus rental house in Moscow on November 13.

Four weeks on, police are still searching for their killer and remain tight-lipped about many aspects of the investigation.

Almost a month ago in the small, remote college town of Moscow four of her fellow students were stabbed to death in their beds. No motive has emerged for the crimes, which were not discovered until the morning after, and although tips and theories have poured in from across the country, police have released few details as to how the murders were carried out. The killer is still at large.

Idaho cops have sparked fears the murderer who killed four college students could strike again as they warned youngsters attending commencement to stay in groups.

Moscow Police told visitors to the city to keep in touch with their friends and family and stay vigilant during the celebration on Saturday.

The commencement ceremony marks an ‘important weekend’ for the city and will see a large influx of visitors coming into Moscow from out of town.

The Moscow Police Department, who have yet to make much headway investigating the murder of four University of Idaho students, have said they will now crack down on internet sleuths.

As last month’s brutal stabbings captured the nation’s attention, sleuths on the internet began posting popular theories about the murders to fill the void from the Idaho police, who have been criticized for sharing little and repeatedly contradicting themselves.

Speaking on Friday, Moscow Police Chief James Fry condemned the high volume of speculations and rumors surrounding the case, saying police have the sole authority to discuss the facts of the case.

Peel police have released new details about the shooting death of a young woman at a Mississauga gas station on the weekend, saying they have found a bicycle used by her killer.

In a video update posted on YouTube on Wednesday, police say the bike was a maroon coloured Sportek Ridgerunner mountain bike and it may have been stolen.

One of the four children of slain billionaires Barry and Honey Sherman issued an emotional plea for help in solving her parents’ murder.

“Five years ago, on Dec. 13, 2017, my beloved parents, Honey and Barry Sherman, were brutally murdered in their Toronto home,” Alexandra Krawczyk said in a written statement. “So far there has been no justice for them and no closure for me and my family.”

The family of slain University of Idaho student Kaylee Goncalves is hiring a lawyer as their relationship with police continues to fracture while the sputtering investigation into the shocking quadruple killing nears its fourth week.

“There are things that we can request and things we can do to get to the truth faster,” Steve Goncalves told Fox News Digital on Tuesday. He said the family is interested in using an attorney to force police to release more evidence in the case.

Steve — who is also hiring a private investigator — is fed up with delays, backtracks and a lack of information from the Moscow Police Department, the Idaho State Police and the FBI.

… In front of you today are 62 firearms, including five AR-15 semi-automatic rifles. 260 charges have been laid against six individuals, one of whom has now been identified as a suspect in a reckless shooting that occurred in a crowded bar in October of 2021.

While we are here to show the public the results of a successful investigation, this is not a good news story.

But the criminals are the real victims!

… Avenatti, 51, is already serving five years in prison for his extortion and fraud convictions at two trials in New York. Selna ordered him to serve the 14 years in prison after the five-year sentence is complete. Federal prosecutors in California had asked Selna to order Avenatti locked up for an additional 17 years and six months.
