A buddy of mine grew up in the Soviet Union. Nice guy. He always insisted that the biggest fallacy Americans had about the Soviet people was that the Russians weren’t aware of the news. According to him, Americans knew that the Politburo censored Pravda (and all Russian-language media outlets), so we crazy capitalists assumed the Soviet citizens were living in a land without information.
Or, as I’d put it perhaps less optimistically: Seven battleground states all end in virtual dead heats in Emerson polling. Add to that this is only one pollster in a sea of survey companies, albeit one with a little more heft. Healthy skepticism should be the rule, but we have other data that may justify sunnier takes on these new results.

I think it wise to just vote and ignore the polls and pundits, many of whom are dealing from the bottom of the deck and bluffing. I’d also ignore those doomsters who claim on the basis of the 2020 election that it will be stolen. Sure, as I note below, there has been and will be a lot of cheating, but the Republicans are getting better at monitoring it and reducing it. Sure, the press is lying again, but as I show below, the legacy media has blown its credibility and alternate content providers are capturing audiences away from them.
As the major presidential candidates proclaim their faith credentials in the final days of the election, it’s noteworthy that Kamala Harris got her big boost into politics from a lover who was a close ally of the cultic mass murderer Jim Jones.
In 1978, Jones led more than 900 followers to their deaths in the jungles of Jonestown, Guyana, by having them drink poisoned juice. It was one of the darkest days of the revolutionary after-life of the 1960s in America.

Michael Moore Pleads with Nonvoters to Back Kamala: ‘Just as a Favor for Me’
Michael Moore is pleading with non-voters to back Vice President Kamala Harris. “Just as a favor for me,” he said.
“Can I ask that you do it just as a favor for me? It really is that important to me,” Moore implored non-voters in a Saturday blog post, adding, “There is, honestly, too large of a part of me that believes we may be truly at our end.”

The latest Des Moines Register/Mediacom poll just dropped, and it claims that Kamala Harris has a three-point lead in Iowa.

After Trump’s election WAPO reporters revealed that throughout their travels covering the candidates they rarely encountered Hillary signage but Trump’s was everywhere. I hope the same holds true for Kamala’s run.
With the 2024 Presidential campaign in its final hours, attention among many Capitol Hill insiders is shifting to the battle for control of Congress. And if House investigators are successful in their investigations, Democrat fundraising website ACT BLUE may turn out to have been functioning as an illegal money-laundering operation for foreign campaign contributions.
