As a veteran of military logistics, I can confirm that President Joe Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris’ response to this round of mass suffering has been orders of magnitude worse than federal actions taken after Katrina.

The leftist media has been abuzz about Donald Trump and running mate JD Vance “smearing” Haitians in America with comments about their cultural practice of pet-eating.

It’s not just conservatives who have noticed that Kamala Harris is hiding from the media and acting like she has an unassailable lead in this race. Democrats are seeing the same thing and at least a few of them were honest enough to say so to NBC News.

She’s running scared, afraid to face the press unless its a scripted encounter and I think Obama will hinder as much as help her campaign.

POLITICO puts it more gently, but as I predicted this morning, one of the lasting impacts of the debate will be a renewed focus on the Secret Life of Walter Mitty, I mean Tim Walz.

Walz’s lies are catching up to him, and apparently he “misspoke” a fair amount to the Harris campaign team, who claim to have had no idea that Timmy is a fabulist.

We’re now about a month away from the election, and everyone is trying to forecast what will happen. The media is calling the race a toss-up, and technically, they’re probably right. That said, is a toss-up really a toss-up? On Wednesday, there was a viral claim suggesting that Donald Trump, based on CNN’s latest poll, is heavily favored to win. Is there any truth to that?

Donald Trump unleashed a foul-mouthed tirade about undocumented immigrants and predicted that this “could be the last election we ever have” if Kamala Harris wins during a private fundraising dinner this summer.

The Guardian obtained a 12-minute recording of a speech that the Republican presidential nominee gave at a dinner on 10 August in Aspen, Colorado, where attendees were required to donate anywhere from $25,000 to $500,000 a couple.

Trump devoted most of his address to border security and immigration, recycling xenophobic claims now familiar from his rallies. “Radical leftwing lunatics” want people to come in from prisons, mental institutions and insane asylums, he asserted without evidence, adding that the US was harbouring “a record number of terrorists”.

But it’s true.

Former President Barack Obama plans to commence a 27-day campaign sprint for Vice President Kamala Harris next week in Pennsylvania, an adviser to the Democratic presidential nominee’s campaign said, hoping his star power among Democrats can help propel her to the office he once held.

Openly concerned about Democratic complacency and acutely aware of razor-thin margins in polls, Obama — who, along with his wife, Michelle, is one of the party’s most popular figures — is seeking to help Harris in any way he can, aides have said.

Imran Salha proudly declared himself “the first Muslim Palestinian imam in America” to endorse Donald Trump for president. Salha, described in previous media reports as a “prominent” Detroit imam, made the endorsement in late September after a meeting with Massad Boulos, Tiffany Trump’s father-in-law. Boulos, a wealthy businessman born in Lebanon, has been working hard to make inroads with the Muslim community on Trump’s behalf.

There’s nothing like having your life flash before your eyes to bring clarity and, as people watch Harris and Biden in action, that clarity is bringing real fear. One of those people facing that fear is Gordon Sondland, the former U.S. Ambassador to the European Union during the Trump administration, who testified during Trump’s Ukraine impeachment and disavowed him after January 6. Despite Sondland’s deep dislike for Trump, he fears Harris more.

You know what you need before ostentatiously conducting a fact-check? Actual facts. Like Candy Crowley at CNN twelve years ago, Norah O’Donnell and Margaret Brennan smugly “corrected” a statement that was correct in the first place. And when J.D. Vance attempted to correct the “misinformation,” CBS News cut the mics and insisted that they had more important issues to discuss.

A CBS News poll and a CNN poll following the vice presidential debate on Tuesday night showed that JD Vance beat Tim Walz by varying margins.
