Disney’s Uber Woke Snow White had higher carbon emissions than the latest Fast & Furious film

At a screening of the new Snow White movie in London last month, influencers walked through an artificial fairytale forest, complete with a full-size thatched cottage filled with models of furry animals. In the US, Disney paraded an actual bunny in a brown knitted jumper down the red carpet at the film’s Hollywood premiere.

But the film’s theme of being at one with nature seems not to have extended to the real-life environment, with company documents showing the making of Snow White generated more greenhouse gas emissions in the UK than the latest Fast & Furious film, despite the latter’s reliance on an array of gas-guzzling cars.

Nolte: Netflix’s ‘F**k You’ to Christians – Meryl Streep to Play Aslan in ‘Narnia‘ Movie

Stuffed Lion Gift to King of Sweden

In today’s edition of Hollywood Hates You More Than It Loves Money, Meryl Streep is in talks to play Aslan in Netflix’s upcoming Narnia movie.

Christian author C.S. Lewis made no secret of the fact that Aslan, the talking lion in his timeless Narnia series, was meant to be an allegory, a stand-in, for Jesus.

As Snow White heads for $115m loss, how can Disney recover?

Over the past decade Disney has made a fortune from giving its classic films a modern makeover, with fresh takes on Aladdin, The Lion King and Beauty and the Beast all grossing more than a billion dollars at the box office.

And yet far from a fairytale, last month’s release of Snow White — a remake of perhaps the company’s most beloved animated feature — was a disaster and by some estimates, the film could lose $115 million.

After ‘Snow White,’ a Chance to Replace Hollywoke

Snow White v. Snow Bitch

If Hollywood is to recover from the ‘Snow White’ debacle, they will have to make use of the traditionalist writers they have long ignored.

Everything you need to know about the current state of American culture can be learned in this weekend’s movie box-office report. Disney’s feminist live-action Snow White remake plunged a catastrophic 66 percent in its second round to an abysmal $14 million. In two weeks, the $250-million-plus production (add at least $200 million more for advertising and marketing) has grossed a laughable — except to Disney executives — $67 million.

Snow White flop sparks anti-woke U-turn: Whistleblowers reveal how trans actors & liberal films are being dumped in ‘crisis mode’ panic

The Walt Disney Company’s latest live-action flop Snow White – a movie beset by disenchanting ticket sales, a comically progressive leading lady and even angry little people protests – tells you everything you need to know about the state of Hollywood.

In the classic Snow White tale, the heroine is awoken from her poison-apple induced slumber by Prince Charming. But there’s no prince in Disney’s remake – and the terror now gripping Tinseltown is that there’s no one coming to rouse them from their nightmare either.

More than a dozen Hollywood insiders ranging from an Oscar-nominated producer to the writer of one of the most successful TV shows ever have spoken exclusively to the Daily Mail about an industry in ‘crisis mode.’

Nolte: First Quarter Box Office Is ‘Bad. Really Bad’ with ‘Plenty of Flops’

As last year’s dismal box office became apparent, we were assured and reassured by the so-called experts that this year’s box office would set everything right. Well…

“As of Sunday, movies have generated $1.34 billion in the U.S. and Canada this year, down 7% from the same period in 2024, according to Comscore,” reports the far-left L.A. Times. “March has been particularly weak. The month is expected to end down 50% year over year. Remember, last year‘s first quarter was down significantly from pre-COVID-19 levels, so business is bad. Really bad.”

Nolte: ‘Snow White’ Bombs — Breaks Record for Lowest Live-Action Remake Opening

With its dreadful $43 million opening, Snow White now holds the record for the lowest debut weekend of any of Disney’s live-action remakes.

The previous record-holder was 2019’s Dumbo, which opened to $46 million.

Yes, Disney Cares That It’s $250 Million ‘Snow White’ Is Tanking at the Box Office

The Walt Disney Company, the most financially successful entertainment conglomerate in history, laid an egg with its latest blockbuster live-action/animated hybrid “Snow White.” It’s not the first time that Disney produced a clunker. In a business that is essentially “hit or miss,” and where misses are far more common than hits, Disney’s formulaic approach to the business of making movies failed them.

Hollywood Hubris, and Hostility to President Trump, Undermine Tinseltown’s Plea for Protection Against AI

The entertainment industry is asking President Trump to protect its intellectual property. Yet don’t expect this to be the beginning of a beautiful friendship. While the letter about Mr. Trump’s AI Action Plan has over 460 signatures, it avoids mentioning the man Hollywood wants to ride to its rescue.

The letter, referring only to “the current U.S. administration,” takes issue with “a recommendation by OpenAI & Google … to remove all legal protections and existing guardrails surrounding copyright law protections for the training of Artificial Intelligence.”

Snow White review — Disney has trashed its crown jewel and its reputation

Believe the anti-hype. It’s that bad. This latest Disney adaptation was yanked from prerelease marketing duties — the London premiere was axed — for good reason. It represents a new low for cultural desecration and for a venerable 102-year-old entertainment company that now looks at its source material with a pinched nose of disgust.

When the Snow White star Rachel Zegler, during a now notorious Vanity Fair interview, dismissed the Disney original as a politically retrograde “85-year-old cartoon”, she was merely echoing the same clueless company vandals who had, in previous reboots, made Cruella soppy, Mulan sexless and Maleficent misunderstood.

Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs pleads not guilty to updated indictment

Diddy and Clinton: Scumbags R’US

Sean “Diddy” Combs has pleaded not guilty to an amended indictment that includes new allegations of forced labour.

The superseding indictment alleges the rap mogul forced employees to work long hours under threat of physical and reputational harm and forced at least one worker to engage in sex acts with him.

Mr Combs’s lawyers have denied that the rap mogul has ever forced anyone into sex acts and that the case revolves around consensual relationships with his girlfriends, the New York Times reports.

Nolte: Marvel/Disney Brand So Damaged ‘Daredevil’ Series Flopped

The failure of Marvel’s Disney+ streaming series Daredevil: Born Again should have the Disney Grooming Syndicate quaking in whatever shoes it wears while circling elementary schools in a van with “free candy” spray-painted on its side.

“According to the Mouse House, the Marvel Television series drew 7.5 million views in its first five days of availability on Disney+,” gushed the far-left Variety, but not before opening the article with this bald-faced lie: “Daredevil: Born Again enjoyed a strong launch on Disney+.”
