Five new lawsuits filed against Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs

Five new civil lawsuits have been filed against Sean “Diddy” Combs in a federal court in New York.

Two men and three women accuse the hip-hop mogul of sexually assaulting them at various parties in LA, New York and Las Vegas.

The youngest plaintiff was 13 at the time of the alleged incident.

Mr Combs remains in custody at a Brooklyn jail. He is separately facing federal charges of sex trafficking and racketeering, which he denies. The BBC has approached his legal team for comment on the new cases.

I hope he takes down many of our fave Hollywood TDS sufferers.

‘He thought of himself as a king’: The parties that led to Diddy’s downfall

There was a time when an invitation to a party hosted by Sean “Diddy” Combs was one of the most sought-after tickets in the entertainment industry.

With guest lists that included Justin Bieber, Mariah Carey, Paris Hilton and Jennifer Lopez, it was a chance to rub shoulders with some of the biggest celebrities. Jay-Z and Beyoncé even released new music at his events.

“When Diddy winked at you and said come into the VIP section, you knew you were going to have a really good night,” Rob Shuter, who worked as a publicist for the rapper at the height of his fame, told BBC News in an exclusive interview.

New lawsuits cast Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs’s White Parties in a darker light

Combs was a “modern-day Gatsby” to the A-listers who attended his star-studded events. His accusers say they saw a far more disturbing figure emerge.

On Labor Day weekend in 1998, Sean “Diddy” Combs hosted a casual barbecue for about 200 guests at his new beachfront estate in East Hampton, N.Y. The dress code was all white, and the guest list was exclusive — details that would come to define the hip-hop impresario’s famous White Parties, which grew into extravagant soirees and earned him the reputation of a “modern-day Gatsby.”

For one attendee, who was 16 at the time, scoring an invite to the party that year felt like it could lead to his big break in the music business — an “opportunity to rub shoulders with the who’s who of the industry.” Instead, according to a new lawsuit, he alleges he was sexually abused by Combs during the event.

If the rumours are proven fact then it’s Epstein 2.0

The charges against Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs explained

Something in common …

Two years ago, rap musician and mogul Sean “Diddy” Combs threw a lavish 53rd birthday party at his $61m mansion in Beverly Hills.

A host of stars lined up to toast his career, with a guest list that included Jay-Z, Travis Scott, Mary J Blige, Kehlani, Tinashe, Chris Brown and Machine Gun Kelly.

The party coincided with his 30th year in the music industry – three decades in which he formed his own entertainment empire and changed the sound of hip-hop, both as an artist and a producer for the likes of Mariah Carey, Jennifer Lopez and The Notorious B.I.G.

Fast-forward to 2024, and his career is on the ropes.

‘Rings Of Power’ Season Two Isn’t Even Worth Hate Watching

Siege engines are not stealthy.

Relatedly, it is time to pull the plug on Amazon’s Tolkien adaptation. There was much to complain about in season two of “The Rings of Power,” but the nadir might have been a squadron of siege engines rolling out of the woods in a surprise attack against Eregion. This might seem a minor quibble given the failures of plot, characterization, and dialogue that have plagued the series, but it encapsulated the show’s complete indifference to even basic competence.

I was certain that MAGA hating racialized gay elves was the way Tolkien himself would have envisioned the story.

As the only female talent scout at a big-name record label in the late 1980s — a workplace she describes as a “circus mixed with an orgy” — she was employed by some of the executives who went on to propel the hip-hop artist turned producer to global stardom.

Outside the courthouse, another attorney for the disgraced musician, Anthony Ricco, boldly compared his client to civil rights leader Martin Luther King Jr.
