Amazon‘s Cancelled ‘A League of Their Own‘ Co-Creator Plays Victim: ‘All Queer People Are Personally and Politically under Attack across the Country‘

One of the creators of Amazon’s A League of Their Own has attempted to blame the show’s premature demise on what he believes to be the political persecution of gays, arguing that the cancellation after just one season is the latest indignity to befall “queer” people in this country.

In a shocking admission, he said that he and others were pressured to make the show less gay, at least during its first season, in order to attract more viewers — a piece of advice he said he proudly ignored.

Amazon should do a mash-up of Rings of Power and League Of Lesbos.

Hollywood homeless crisis escalates

As rampant homelessness continues to plague the streets and neighborhoods of Los Angeles, a new video sheds light on the issue as it impacts LA’s iconic Hollywood Walk of Fame.

The video, taken earlier this summer, shows dozens of homeless people collapsed and prostrated on the streets of Hollywood, laying on public benches, and lining the streets with makeshift tents.

‘Hidden between the glitz and glamor, homelessness has cast a shadow over the streets,’ says the video’s narrator, as he walks around the neighborhood.

Amazon Cancels Woke ‘A League of Their Own‘ After One Season, Latest ‘Queer‘ Series to Flop

Amazon Studios has canceled A League of Their Own after just one season, making it the latest “queer” series to flop with audiences.

A League of Their Own had received an abbreviated second series order of four episodes but Amazon has scrapped those plans, according to multiple reports. Deadline claimed without citing sources that the cancellation is due to the ongoing actors and writers strikes that have brought Hollywood production to a standstill.

‘My father and Walt would be turning in their graves’: Son of original Snow White director blasts ‘pathetic’ new version starring Rachel Zegler

The son of the original Snow White And The Seven Dwarfs director has blasted Disney’s ‘pathetic’ live-action ‘radical’ remake of the movie, accusing the company of having no respect for classics.

David Hand, 91, whose father of the same name directed the original 1937 animation, rebuked Walt Disney Studios for pursuing an ‘insulting’ and ‘woke’ remake of the movie that sought to ‘destroy’ its predecessor.

He said the new adaptation would have both his father and Walt Disney himself ‘turning in their graves’ as he slammed the upcoming movie starring Rachel Zegler as the titular character.

Nolte: Disney‘s ‘Snow White‘ Star Rachel Zegler Is Why I Welcome Artificial Intelligence

Box Office Toxin

Rachel Zegler is Exhibit A in why I’m hoping artificial intelligence (A.I.) takes over Hollywood.

Rachel Zegler personifies everything wrong with the modern-day entertainment business. Who is she? She’s a nobody. She starred in one movie, West Side Story (2021), a notorious flop, and now she’s running around like she’s the Harriet Tubman of Hollywood, shooting off her smug, self-satisfied mouth about how she — a marginally intelligent, uni-browed oompa loompa — is going to “correct” the classic fairy tale Snow White.

Alec Baldwin: Report casts doubt over Rust actor’s account of shooting

A new report into the fatal shooting on the set of the movie Rust appears to cast doubt over star and producer Alec Baldwin’s accounts of events.

Mr Baldwin denies pulling the trigger of the prop gun which went off, killing cinematographer Halyna Hutchins.

Weapons experts have now said the trigger would have “had to be pulled”.

The actor’s representatives told the PA news agency they had no comment to make on the latest development in the ongoing case.

Charges of involuntary manslaughter against the actor were dropped in April, but prosecutors said it did not “absolve Mr Baldwin of criminal culpability”.

New Disney show ‘Pauline’ features teenage girl who gets pregnant after one-night stand with Satan

It has become somewhat passé to complain about the Walt Disney Company. Once a titan of American storytelling, Disney has gone from producing culture to pushing the cultural revolution. Disney has pushed for abortion across the U.S. and offers employees full coverage for expenses if they wish to travel to procure an abortion and has championed the LGBT agenda, as well. Their content reflects this. They have promoted a drag queen special for children; launched a bisexual teen character who dabbles in witchcraft; and has committed to pushing LGBT characters in its content.

Hollywood strike loses sparkle as it turns into a soap opera

Activists bemoan a lack of A-listers on the picket lines

Amonth after the actors’ union joined the Hollywood writers’ strike the first flush of defiance has faded and the sniping has set in.

“I’m not going to name names, but there have been so many times where the photographer turns up 15 minutes before someone famous arrives,” said a screenwriter who has been marching outside the Warner Bros studios in Burbank, northwest Los Angeles, since the beginning of May. “You know it’s not a coincidence. It’s obvious they have been tipped off.”

When will these do-gooding rock stars put their money where their mouth is?

THE multi-million-pound record sales of the most successful recording artists are surely an indicator of how much our society has valued their art, thoughts and considerations on all matters. From Peter Gabriel to Bruce Springsteen, Coldplay to Billie Eilish, Western music artists have taken huge financial reward from highlighting what they saw (and still see) as repression, planetary injustice, moral harms and sometimes torture and death for those that society deemed beyond the pale.

In 2022 things apparently got so emotionally charged that many recording artists signed the Global Citizen pledge, calling for increased focus on poverty and climate change.
