Hollywood Celebrities Capitalize on Texas School Shooting: ‘F**k the GOP and Their Obsession with Guns‘

Hollywood celebrities wasted little time capitalizing on the school shooting in Uvalde, Texas, on Tuesday, urging voters and lawmakers to support more gun control while also blaming the shooting on Republicans and other supporters of Second Amendment rights.

Celebrities including Alyssa Milano, Rob Reiner, Elizabeth Banks, Bette Midler, Piper Perabo, and Stephen King all took advantage of the incident as a way to push familiar Democratic refrains.

The 20 Dumbest Hollywood Hatemongers

Celebrities unhinged.

On March 27, 2022, during a live television broadcast of the 94th Academy Awards, popular actor Will Smith hijacked the ceremony by storming onstage to slap comedian Chris Rock for a tame joke about Smith’s actress wife, Jada Pinkett. Then Smith returned to his seat and, in an epic explosion of Hollywood narcissism, spewed profane threats at Rock, which were broadcast around the world, sucking all the air out of an event designed to showcase the achievements of his fellow artists. Some speculated that Smith’s meltdown stemmed not from a chivalrous defense of his wife’s honor, but from the pent-up humiliation of being wedded to a woman who publicly insisted on having an “open marriage.”

Rust: Producers of Alec Baldwin film deny safety failures over shooting

The producers of Alec Baldwin film Rust have disputed an official report saying they were indifferent to gun safety before an on-set shooting tragedy.

The film’s cinematographer was killed and its director injured when a gun held by Baldwin fired last October.

Last month, the New Mexico Environment Department imposed its maximum fine on Rust Movie Productions for “serious and wilful” failures.

But the company has said it “enforced all applicable safety protocols”.

Moment Alec Baldwin is told Rust cinematographer Halyna Hutchins has died after he shot her

Footage has shown the moment a distraught Alec Baldwin was told cinematographer Halyna Hutchins had died after he accidentally shot her during filming on the set of Rust.

Video shows investigators telling the actor that Hutchins, 42, had succumbed to her injuries, with Baldwin instantly saying ‘no’ as he lurched back into his seat in shock. Baldwin, 64, is seen raising his hand to his mouth as he looks between the two investigators in stunned silence.

He remains in the same position for 24 seconds before he puts his hand on his chest and then covers his face with his hands. Baldwin later asked the investigators if he could call his wife Hilaria.

Sheriff reveals Alec Baldwin MAY still face charges for Rust shooting

Alec Baldwin may still face charges for accidentally killing cinematographer Halyna Hutchins in October, sheriffs revealed on Tuesday morning after releasing a trove of documents and videos from their investigation into the on-set accident.

Baldwin, 64, was rehearsing a scene for the movie Rust on October 21, 2021, when he pulled his gun from his costume. It fired and shot Hutchins, 42, in the armpit, fatally wounding her.

The gun fired a live round which had been loaded into what Baldwin thought was an empty gun.

The larger message of the appalling Johnny Depp-Amber Heard trial

I’ve been assiduously ignoring coverage about the Johnny Depp-Amber Heard trial. The headlines I’ve seen tell me that it’s incredibly sordid and I’m not sufficiently interested in either of these two people to care about the details. However, to the extent I’ve become aware of some of what went on in their home, it seems worthwhile pointing out that Hollywood is a deeply dysfunctional place that has way too much sway over our culture and, worse, over our children.

More hypocrisy from Hollywood

Marvel’s most recent installment, Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, has been banned in Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, and Qatar.

The reason according to The Hollywood Reporter, is that the film has a gay character named America Chavez, who also features in the comics.

Since homosexuality is illegal in the Islamic countries in the Middle East, the film didn’t get the approval of the censorship boards.

The Collapse of Netflix Is the Collapse of Hollywood

It’s just one of many corporate media giants forcing woke propaganda down our throats.

There is a YouTube video which might interest you. It’s four years old and it’s picked up over 51 million views in that time. It probably deserves 10 times that much attention.

The video is an interview between Helen Lewis of the Atlantic and British GQ and the renowned, if controversial, psychiatrist, philosopher, author, and speaker Jordan Peterson. It’s precisely what you expect it to be — an hour and 42 minutes of Lewis, an obnoxious socialist who struggles to see anything from outside of the third-wave feminist prism she’s trapped in, attempting to insult and slur Peterson over his views and getting repeatedly run over for the effort.

Warner Bros Kowtows To Communist China And Removes Gay Dialogue From Fantastic Beasts Film

References to a gay relationship in the new Fantastic Beasts movie were removed by Warner Bros for Chinese audiences.

Six seconds of the third instalment, The Secrets of Dumbledore, which alluded to the romantic past between Dumbledore and Grindelwald, were cut.

Harry Potter author JK Rowling said Dumbledore was gay in 2007, but the movies had never explicitly referenced his sexuality until now.

The producers, Warner Bros, said the “spirit of the film remains”.

Hollywood used to entertain now it only disgusts.
