Alec Baldwin says he doesn’t feel guilty about shooting dead cinematographer and is convinced he won’t face charges

Mighty tears!

A tearful Alec Baldwin said on Thursday night that he would have killed himself if he felt responsible for shooting dead camerawoman Halyna Hutchins on the set of his movie Rust, but that he doesn’t feel guilty and believes he won’t face charges for the accident.

Baldwin broke his silence on the shooting in an interview with ABC where he went from criticizing the likes of George Clooney for chiming in on the tragedy, to crying and talking about how ‘loved’ Hutchins was and how he’d bonded with her widower after accidentally killing her.

He maintains that he didn’t pull the trigger and that the gun just ‘went off’ while in his hands on the set of the movie in New Mexico on October 21.

China Predicts Hollywood Will ‘Dig Its Own Grave‘ with ‘Political Correctness‘

China’s Global Times, a state-controlled publication, asserted this week that Hollywood will destroy itself as it continues to embrace “political correctness” with an increasingly lunatic fervor.

The state-run media outlet cited the recent decision to exclude author J.K. Rowling from the Harry Potter movie anniversary celebration due to her comments on transgender individuals, as well as the Academy Awards’ new diversity quotas, which require ethnic minority representation for best picture consideration.

Pretty sad when even the ChiComs call you out.

The Blacklist Propaganda Never Stops

Leftists try to flip the script on communism in Hollywood.

The other day, as part of my constant effort to find non-political content to vary my daily cultural diet, I started listening to a new series of YouTube podcasts about the life of Lucille Ball. Produced by Turner Classic Movies, it’s narrated by Ben Mankiewicz, the late Robert Osborne’s successor as TCM host. The series was pleasantly diverting — right up until Episode 7, “Red Scare,” which, having some familiarity with Lucy’s life story, I should have seen coming.

You see, Lucy’s maternal grandfather, Fred Hunt, was a communist. In biographies, he comes off as being rather like Arthur Spooner on King of Queens — a lovable eccentric with happy memories of socialist summer camp and of Broadway agitprop by Clifford Odets. At 24, at Fred’s urging, Lucy — who knew nothing about politics — registered to vote as a communist. It was the mid-1930s; Lucy wasn’t yet famous and communism wasn’t yet taken seriously in the corridors of power.

Alec Baldwin shooting: investigators track source of live ammunition on Rust set

Authorities are pursuing new leads on possible sources of live ammunition involved in actor Alec Baldwin’s fatal shooting of a cinematographer on the New Mexico set of a western, as they searched the premises of an Albuquerque-based firearms and ammunition supplier.

The search took place after a provider of firearms and ammunition to the ill-fated movie production Rust told investigators that he “may know” where live rounds came from, describing ammunition he received from a friend in the past that had been “reloaded” by assembly from parts.

Lawyer for ‘Rust’ armorer Hannah Gutierrez-Reed claims she was ‘framed’

Needs fashion advisor.

An attorney for the armorer on the set of “Rust” said that his client is being “framed” for the tragic death that occurred when Alec Baldwin shot the film’s cinematographer.

The lawyer for Hannah Gutierrez-Reed insisted on Wednesday that “sabotage” and a “tampered” crime scene were evidence of the frame job for the shooting last month on the New Mexico film set.

The statement came a day after Gutierrez-Reed met with Santa Fe County Deputy Sheriffs about the double shooting. The cinematographer, Halyna Hutchins, was killed and director Joel Souza injured when Baldwin fired a “hot” prop gun that was supposed to be loaded with blanks.

DA probing ‘Rust’ shooting knows who loaded gun

The district attorney probing the “Rust” film set shooting says she knows who loaded the gun Alec Baldwin used to accidentally shoot dead cinematographer Halyna Hutchins.

Santa Fe DA Mary Carmack-Altwies declined to name the person in an interview with ABC’s “Good Morning America” on Wednesday, as she weighs whether to bring criminal charges over the Oct. 21 fatal shooting.

Asked if she was aware who loaded the fatal live round, Carmack-Altwies said: “We do, yes.”

‘Rust’ armorer’s ‘mentor’ reportedly supplied Alec Baldwin’s deadly Colt .45

The rookie armorer on “Rust” reportedly had a mysterious “mentor” on set — who supplied the gun Alec Baldwin used when he accidentally shot dead his cinematographer.

Seth Kenney, who owns an Arizona weapons and props rental company, was hired in late September to be an “armorer mentor” for Hannah Gutierrez-Reed, according to an internal crew list obtained by the Los Angeles Times.

Kenney, 51, had even suggested Gutierrez-Reed, 24, for the key armorer gig, despite her having only been in charge of weapons in one other movie, a source told the paper.

‘Rust’ shooting: Alec Baldwin is ‘hurting himself in unimaginable ways,’ says crisis PR expert

It’s been two weeks since Halyna Hutchins was killed on the set of Rust, and there are still questions about how such a tragedy occurred. Alec Baldwin, star and producer of the Western indie film, fired a gun during rehearsal that contained a live round. The actor initially issued a statement saying that he had “no words to convey my shock and sadness” about the accident. Baldwin’s remarks about the tragedy have been sparse, but telling, since Oct. 21, the day of the events.

According to crisis and PR expert Eric Schiffer, Baldwin “broke the essential rules of managing a crisis: don’t do any further damage.”

The allegedly poor safety measures involving weapons on set was captured in pictures taken by others working on the film.

Trump speculates ‘nutjob’ Alec Baldwin intentionally loaded gun that killed Rust crewmember

Trump outrageously suggests ‘nutjob’ Alec Baldwin INTENTIONALLY loaded gun that killed Rust crewmember and says he’s a ‘troubled guy’ who shouldn’t get into fistfights with reporters

Former President Donald Trump outrageously suggested ‘nutjob’ Alec Baldwin intentionally shot cinematographer Halyna Hutchins on the Rust set, during a radio interview Thursday.

‘In my opinion, he had something to do with it,’ Trump said of Baldwin – who played Trump on Saturday Night Live – to conservative radio show host Chris Stigall. ‘Who would take a gun and point it at a cinematographer and pull the trigger?’ Trump asked. ‘Maybe he loaded it,’ the former president also floated.

The ex-president said he believed Baldwin could be responsible because he’s a ‘troubled guy,’ ‘there’s something wrong with him’ and he ‘gets into fistfights with reporters.’
