How Jewish Canadians are coping with rising antisemitism after being target of bomb threat

Toronto A Hamas friendly city.

Bomb threats sent to dozens of synagogues and other Jewish institutions in Canada this week have left some community members shaken, with several Jewish Canadians telling CBC News they’ve recently experienced antisemitism on a level they haven’t seen before and changed how they go about their daily lives.

Several respondents to a CBC News request for people to share their experiences did not feel comfortable telling their stories on the record out of concern for their safety and that of their families.

The GTA is about 10% Islamist so there’s really no place to hide.

And the rest of the region’s diverse 3rd World settlers don’t really give a crap having no connection to Canada or western history and values.

Solingen: Stabby Muslim Who Attacked Festival Of Diversity Is A Failed Syrian “Refugee” Claimant Who Was Supposed To Be Deported Last Year

The investigation into a man suspected of carrying out deadly stabbings at a festival in the western German city of Solingen is now in the hands of federal prosecutors as being a case of suspected terrorism, a police spokesperson said on Sunday.

The attacks on Friday evening, in which three people died and eight were injured, has been claimed by the extremist “Islamic State” (IS) group. The Federal Public Prosecutor’s Office is now examining whether a suspect who handed himself in on Saturday evening has links with the terrorist organization.

Police said the suspect, identified as a 26-year-old Syrian man, had admitted responsibility for the attack and was currently being questioned. German news magazine Spiegel reported that the suspect came to Germany in 2022 as a refugee and applied for asylum in the city of Bielefeld.

LILLEY: Islamic hate preacher now on tour across Canada

Imagine a controversial Christian preacher from the U.S. who tells his followers that Muslims are our enemy being allowed to tour this country.

Would the Trudeau government allow such a preacher to conduct a lecture tour if he taught that all Muslims are liars who cheat, and that homosexuals are animals?

It’s doubtful — but if it did happen, there would be outrage and demonstrations outside of the tour locations.

Canada’s Untouchable Radicals: How the Red-Green Alliance Controls the Streets

A web of anti-Jewish activists, Muslim radicals, a fringe Jewish group, and Marxist organizations (including the Canadian government) are cooperating in a red-green alliance as a strategy to advance the pro-Hamas cause. Recent efforts to undermine Canadian-Israeli charities, demoralize Jews, and facilitate funding to pro-terrorist “Palestinian” charities have not gone unnoticed amid the backdrop of over 300 days of pro-Hamas rallies on Canadian city streets. This trend is evident in recent Canadian Revenue Agency (CRA) decisions to revoke the official charitable status of two Jewish charities: the Jewish National Fund (JNF) of Canada and the Ne’eman Foundation.

Muslim Terror Attack In Solingen: German Anti-Terror Unit Arrests Knife Attacker In Asylum Seeker’s Residence

SEK storms asylum home! Suspect arrested

Solingen (NRW) – Elite police officers from the special operations command (SEK) stormed a refugee shelter following the terrorist attack in Solingen. A suspect was arrested.

The asylum accommodation is located just 300 meters from the Fronhof, the site of the attack. And 150 meters from the place where investigators found the suspected murder weapon in the afternoon – the knife with which the attacker killed three people and seriously injured eight on Friday evening.

The “Festival of Diversity” became a day of tears

Solingen (NRW) – It was supposed to be a lively anniversary celebration under the motto “Festival of Diversity”. But at around 9:40 p.m. the cheers in front of the stage at Fronhof died down and instead screams and panic filled the city center. At least one armed man stabbed visitors to the 650th anniversary of Solingen (NRW) with a knife, killing three people and injuring eight.

The day after the atrocity, countless questions remain unanswered, and witnesses and residents of the city are in shock. Two men (56 and 67 years old) and a woman (56) are dead. A youth (15) is in police custody. It is unclear whether he is the perpetrator and whether he had accomplices.

In a statement on its official mouthpiece Amaq, IS said the attack targeted a gathering of Christians for “the cause of Palestinians and Muslims”.

Explosion outside French synagogue injures police officer

An explosion took place outside a synagogue in southern France on Saturday morning, which police are treating as attempted arson.

It was caused by two cars being set alight outside the Beth Yaacov synagogue in La Grande-Motte, authorities said. One of the vehicles contained a hidden gas bottle.

France’s Interior Minister Gerald Darmanin called the incident “an obviously criminal act”.

In a post on X, formerly Twitter, he wrote: “I want to assure our Jewish fellow citizens and the municipality of my full support”, adding that all means were being mobilised to find the perpetrator.

How Swedish gangs are exporting young contract killers across Scandinavia

Crime bosses are behind a wave of youths being hired for attacks in Denmark and Norway, with fears the trend could spread further

When the Oresund Bridge across the strait between Denmark and Sweden opened in 2,000 it was hailed as a symbol of Nordic comity and the gradual evaporation of Europe’s internal borders.

It spawned an immensely popular crime drama, The Bridge, in which the icy Swedish detective Saga Noren and Martin Rohde, her more emotionally intelligent Danish counterpart, combine the stronger points of their respective national stereotypes.

Belgium has betrayed the Jews, but it is next

Leon de Winter: “Hamas wanted to convince young people that the massacre of Jews was not a crime, but a consecration of the Prophet and that robbery and rape were permitted means of struggle.”

“If we look at what is happening in Belgium there is reason to fear the emergence of an emirate in the heart of a contrite Europe, blinded by guilt and cowardice”, the Algerian novelist Kamel Daoud has just denounced in the weekly Le Point.

And even Jean Quatremer, the historic Brussels correspondent of Libération, goes so far as to say: “Belgium capitulates and has truly become the advanced base of political Islam”.

Now comes a scoop to confirm it.

A mass bomb threat against Jews? Who could have seen that coming?

If only there were signs.

If only we could have foreseen – somehow – that the climate in Canada would become so toxic toward Jews that now, in August of 2024, more than 100 Jewish institutions would receive a bomb threat, warning that the buildings’ occupants “will all end up in a pool of blood.”

“None of you deserve to keep living,” it read.

How did we get here?

There are some awards that should give recipients pause and make them reconsider their life choices. Like receiving a Razzie Award for worst actor, a Grand Cross of the German Eagle from the Nazis or a human rights award from the Islamic Republic of Iran. But for Canadian terror apologist Charlotte Kates, the Iranian regime’s recognition of her anti-Israel campaign is considered a badge of honour.
