Victorian Laws Against Priests Meddling in Politics Are Now Needed More Than Ever – To Prevent Imams Doing the Same

Over the last few weeks, we have just seen proud and open Islamic radicals elected into the House of Commons, and apparent race-related riots on the streets of Leeds. At first glance, the increasingly sectarian nature of U.K. politics seems to be a thoroughly modern phenomenon. Yet, surprisingly, there is one specific little-covered aspect of this lamentable trend which has genuine roots in centuries gone by, having its origins directly in the days of old Catholic Ireland – which is odd, as at first glance it appears to centre entirely upon the ever-growing issue of British political Islam.

Mass deportation is the only lasting solution.

Courting the Antisemitic vote

A new constituency of antisemitic voters has arisen during the past year—the pro-Hamas protesters who have been using “Zionist” as a codeword for Jew, who have been brandishing signs calling for a “Final Solution.” Are those the voters candidates should court?

We’re accustomed to politicians courting the Black Vote, or the Jewish Vote, or the Youth Vote. But what about the Antisemitic Vote?

CNN correspondent John King asserted on July 21 that “there could be some risks” for Kamala Harris if she chooses Pennsylvania Governor Josh Shapiro as her running mate because “he’s Jewish.”

In other words, antisemitic voters would not cast their ballots for a Harris-Shapiro ticket. That may be true. The question is whether courting the votes of bigots should be an acceptable political strategy.

Same in Canada, Britain, France, Germany etc. etc. etc.
