Calgary teen in TikTok video terrorism case to have peace bond hearing in October

A Calgary teenager arrested over alleged terrorism-related posts on TikTok and other social media sites is to face a two-day peace bond hearing in late October.

The 16-year-old was the fourth Calgarian — and third teen — to be arrested after the RCMP began a national security investigation last June.

Police allege the teen was in a Snapchat group with a title that translates to “Islamic State Soldiers of Allah,” whose members shared photos and videos related to Islamic State recruiting and suicide bombers, as well as footage of men being thrown off buildings to their deaths.

Joanna Baron: Canadian politicians have suddenly forgotten how to denounce protestors

Those who had a lot to say about the Freedom Convoy are strangely silent about the pro-Palestinian demonstrators

This past weekend, downtown Ottawa was occupied by a huge crowd of protestors. They danced, shouted angry slogans, banged on drums and created a noisy, inconvenient disruption for local residents and businesses. They even set off smoke bombs, creating hazardous air quality for bystanders and law enforcement.

Sound a bit familiar? Yes, there were some obvious parallels with the Freedom Convoy. But there were also a couple of very big differences. There were many more frightening messages directed at fellow Canadians this time, including “All Zionists are racists” and “All Zionists are degenerates.”

Trudeau’s girlfriend pledges help for alleged Palestinian sex-crime victims, angering Israeli envoy

Canada pledges help for Palestinian sex-crime victims, angering Israeli envoy

OTTAWA – Foreign Affairs Minister Mélanie Joly has announced funding for Palestinian women who have survived sexual violence, drawing an immediate rebuke from a senior Israeli official.

Joly pledged $1 million for women from the West Bank and the Gaza Strip whom her office described as “survivors of sexual violence, no matter the circumstance.”

Joly’s office would not say whether Canada believes Israeli forces are perpetrating sexual violence on women in Gaza, nor if the funding pertains to domestic abuse in the Palestinian territories.

Now Junior is sending his GF out to whore for Hamas votes.

Are Ramadan Jihad Cells Already in the U.S.?

“The warning lights are blinking.”

Two recent interviews — one with former Navy SEAL and Blackwater founder Erik Prince and one with Sen. Roger Marshall, R-Kan., — pointed to the gathering threat of terror violence inside the country this year.

Aside from these two and a few more, though, there seems to be scant attention being paid to the likelihood that a confluence of threat indicators will erupt into street violence on a scale we’ve not seen since the summer of 2020.

Election Jihad: Islamic Groups are hijacking the US Elections

A New Generation of Islamist Political Power

The response in state legislatures to the Hamas Islamic terror attacks of Oct 7 showed how thoroughly Islamists have infiltrated our political system and the threat that they pose.

In Delaware, Rep. Madinah Wilson-Anton, the first Muslim elected in Delaware, heckled Vice President Kamala Harris at a Christmas party, demanding that Israel stop attacking Hamas.

Palestinian granted asylum in UK after warning of ‘apartheid’ state in Israel

A Palestinian citizen of Israel is to be granted asylum by the Home Office on the basis that he has a “well-founded” fear of persecution if returned to Israel, because of his campaigning activities in the UK.

The 24-year-old, known only as “Hasan”, claimed he faced an increased risk of persecution because of his Palestinian solidarity activism in the UK and his anti-Zionist political opinions.

He alleged Israel maintained an “apartheid” system where Palestinian citizens were oppressed.

India’s new citizenship law excludes Muslims. Why asks the Star?

NEW DELHI (AP) — India has implemented a controversial citizenship law that has been widely criticized for excluding Muslims, a minority community whose concerns have heightened under Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s Hindu nationalist government.

The rules for the law were announced Monday. It establishes a religious test for migrants from every major South Asian faith other than Islam. Critics argue that the law is further evidence that Modi’s government is trying to reshape the country into a Hindu state and marginalize its 200 million Muslims.

Why the elites are terrified of talking about radical Islam

So now we know. If you’re from a working-class background in a Red Wall constituency and you think Islamism is a big problem, the Tories are not the party for you. That’s the takeaway, surely, from Lee Anderson’s flight from the Tories into the welcoming arms of Reform UK following the confected media stink over his brash comments about Sadiq Khan being too cosy with Islamists. The optics of this are awful. A former miner turned Tory MP pipes up about radical Islam and the eye-wateringly wealthy Rishi Sunak effectively kicks him out? Yikes.

After criticism, Ottawa pledges $1-million to support Hamas sexual-violence victims

Foreign Affairs Minister Mélanie Joly says Canada is pledging $1 million to support victims of sexual violence by Hamas in Israel during last October’s attacks.

The funding comes with an offer of RCMP support for investigations three months after a group of women who hold political office in Canada called on Ottawa to provide this type of support.

Michael Dolgin: Canada must not stop tolerating antisemitic ‘protests’

I think of the job of acting as inhabiting a situation or identity significantly different from my own. As a rabbi, acting is not really in my wheelhouse. However, when I was cast in a commercial sponsored by the Foundation to Combat Anti-Semitism (FCAS) to play a rabbi whose synagogue receives a bomb threat during a Bar Mitzvah ceremony, I found it was a familiar role.

Rabbi Michael Dolgin is senior rabbi of Temple Sinai Congregation of Toronto and is actively engaged in interfaith dialogue.
