Trudeau confronted during Toronto-area mosque visit as calls mount for Israel-Hamas ceasefire

Prime Minister Justin Trudeau faced calls for an immediate ceasefire between Israel and Hamas during an unannounced visit to a Toronto-area mosque on Friday.

“Shame on you. How many more Palestinian children need to be slaughtered?” a woman in the crowd is heard telling Trudeau outside the mosque. “How many more before you call for a ceasefire?”

In a video provided to CBC News by a community member in attendance, Trudeau is seen inside the International Muslims Organization (IMO) Mosque in Etobicoke, Ont., trying to speak to the crowd. At one point, a man is heard yelling “Shame.” Another man is heard asking Trudeau, “Do you condemn Israel?”

None condemned Hamas I see.

Revealed: the Hamas chief who lives in a London council house

A Hamas fugitive who “ran the group’s terrorist operations in the West Bank” and served on its ruling body lives in London in a council property he recently bought with a £112,000 discount.

Muhammad Qassem Sawalha evaded Israel’s security services using a relative’s passport and fled to the UK in the 1990s, later obtaining British citizenship.

Upon arrival, Sawalha, 62, continued to work for Hamas, holding secret talks about “revitalising” terrorist acts in Israel and helping to launder money to support activities in Gaza and the West Bank, according to a US Department of Justice indictment in 2004.

Today in History: A Christian Warlord Cows Thousands of Jihadists into Submission

Today in history, on October 21, 1094, a small force of Christian knights destroyed a massive Muslim horde in Spain, where the Jihad and Reconquista had been raging for years.

Around 1085, the Almoravids, a North African group committed to jihadist teaching and led by the Emir Yusuf bin Tashfin, began pouring into Spain to aid their Islamic counterparts, the Moors, who had suffered several significant defeats to the Christians in recent years.

Russia ‘is whipping up’ extreme Islamist sentiment against Sweden

Russia is exploiting and fomenting a wave of Islamist propaganda against Sweden, the head of Sweden’s counter-disinformation agency has told The Times.

Sweden has been confronted with a storm of anger across large parts of the Islamic world, driven by a series of Quran burnings and conspiracy theories claiming that the Swedish authorities are forcibly removing children from Muslim families.

Terror is exposing France’s failed state

The values that built la République are crumbling

It is characteristic of France’s self-absorption that what started as a national sense of outrage at the latest Islamist killing on our soil soon evolved into a bitter scuffle between present and past tough-talking Home Secretaries. Last Friday, Dominique Bernard, a 57-year-old French literature teacher at a state Lycée in Arras, was stabbed to death by a 20-year-old Chechen former pupil, Mohammed Mogouchkov, shouting “Allahu Akbar” as Bernard tried to prevent him from entering the school’s main building. Three years almost to the day, it felt like a terrible repetition of the killing and beheading of another teacher, Samuel Paty, in a west Paris suburb.

The disgusting bigotry of the poster-rippers

Now people are going around London tearing down posters about kidnapped Israelis.

When you see a poster about a missing person, do you feel an overwhelming urge to tear it down? When you are confronted with the victims of a racist pogrom, do you think to yourself ‘ah, stop going on about it already’, and start telling everyone nearby to stop their blubbing?

Jewish groups call on Trudeau to clarify Gaza blast comments, Canada won’t comment on culpability

Facing calls to clarify his previous comments, Prime Minister Justin Trudeau said Thursday the Canadian government is working “rapidly” with allies to determine exactly what happened in the Gaza hospital blast that’s become a point of contention amid the Israel-Hamas war.

Calling it “the destruction of the hospital,” Trudeau said Canada is taking the time needed to investigate “carefully” beyond the “preliminary evidence” before reaching any final conclusions.

Israeli community frozen as Hamas atrocities continue to emerge

They are still finding bodies in the neighbourhoods near Gaza.

Recovery teams on Wednesday pulled a woman’s body from the rubble in Kibbutz Be’eri. She was naked, her feet bound with metal wire.

One of the team said the bodies of more than 20 children had been found nearby, tied together and burned.

Even experienced workers are struggling: deaths like this are enough to break the living.

Avi Benlolo: Trudeau Liberals leave world questioning whose side Canada is on — the terrorists or their victims?

The question for Trudeau is who has more votes the terrorists or their victims?

The heinous Oct. 7 attack by Hamas on Israel left many Canadians, particularly in the Jewish community, deeply shocked and concerned about the questionable tone coming from our government.

This week, a number of world leaders have visited Israel to show their solidarity with the Jewish state. However, Canada’s response has been marked by efforts to evacuate its citizens from the region and a pledge of $10 million in aid to both sides, reflecting a faulty and shameful desire for neutrality.

MANDEL: No more house arrest for ISIS bride repatriated from Syria

When ISIS bride Dure Ahmed left Toronto for the caliphate in Syria, she insists she had no clue what her notorious husband was up to, including the kidnapping and savage beheading of American journalist James Foley.

Trudeau still kissing Hamas Ass, won’t admit truth of Gaza Hospital bombing

Trudeau not ready to accept U.S. finding that Palestinian outfit was behind Gaza hospital blast

Prime Minister Justin Trudeau said Thursday that Canadian officials are still reviewing evidence about the Gaza hospital blast that killed and maimed many Palestinian civilians and he’s not prepared to say who’s responsible.

That’s a departure from what U.S. President Joe Biden and American national security services have said about the explosion.

“We are working closely with allies to determine exactly what happened,” Trudeau told a press conference with Caribbean leaders in Ottawa when asked if he accepted the Israeli version of events that has since been endorsed by the U.S. government.

He hasn’t got anything to lose, his image and that of his party are in the dumpster.
