US carries out airstrikes against Islamic State ‘terrorist scum’ in Nigeria, Trump says

Donald Trump has said the US carried out airstrikes against Islamic State militants in north-west Nigeria on Thursday, after spending weeks decrying the group for targeting Christians.

The president said in a post on his Truth Social platform: “Tonight, at my direction as Commander in Chief, the United States launched a powerful and deadly strike against ISIS Terrorist Scum in Northwest Nigeria, who have been targeting and viciously killing, primarily, innocent Christians, at levels not seen for many years, and even Centuries!

“I have previously warned these Terrorists that if they did not stop the slaughtering of Christians, there would be hell to pay, and tonight, there was. The Department of War executed numerous perfect strikes, as only the United States is capable of doing.”

Hundreds of thousands newly displaced as Islamic State insurgency expands in Mozambique

More than 300,000 people have been displaced by an Islamic State insurgency in Mozambique since July, amid growing fears that authorities lack a workable plan to end the fighting.

With wars in Ukraine, Gaza and Sudan attracting more attention and foreign aid falling, the grinding conflict in Mozambique has been largely ignored or forgotten. More than 1 million people have been displaced, many of them two, three or even four times.

Christian Almost Murdered Twice By Islamists Finds Home In Canada For Christmas

Christmas came early this year. Pakistani Catholic Michael D’Souza and his eldest daughter Rochelle — who have suffered two decades of religious persecution and mistreatment from Muslim extremists, corrupt immigration authorities, and predatory human traffickers — arrived safely at Toronto Pearson International Airport on Dec. 10. With the White House and corporate media giving persecuted religious minorities across the world an unprecedented degree of attention, I’m grateful to be able to share this exciting story of answered prayers, which also offers lessons about the continued reality of global persecution of Christians, as well as legal (and illegal) immigration.

France: Court refuses to label poisoning of Jewish family as antisemitic

The public prosecutor’s office in Nanterre, France has filed an appeal against a December 18 ruling by a criminal court in the case of a 42-year-old Algerian nanny convicted of poisoning the Jewish family she worked for, after the court declined to recognize an antisemitic motive in the crime.

The case dates back to January 2024 in Levallois-Perret, west of Paris, where the nanny deliberately poured cleaning products into several bottles of alcohol belonging to the parents of the children in her care.

From Christian to Majority-Muslim: Lebanon’s Cautionary Tale for Europe

Christians in Lebanon have declined from a demographic majority to a minority.

Lebanon was majority-Christian starting from the first century (when Christianity was introduced by figures such as St. Peter and St. Paul) until the mid-20th century. Mount Lebanon, which remains the Christian heartland of the country, is frequently mentioned in the Bible.

Lebanon was conquered by the Arab Islamic Rashidun Caliphate in 636 AD following the defeat of the Christian Byzantine (Eastern Roman) Empire at the Battle of Yarmouk. The Ottoman Empire later occupied Mount Lebanon from its conquest in 1516 until the end of World War I in 1918. Lebanon gained independence from French rule in 1943.

John Ivison: Canada’s tolerance of antisemitic intolerance has gone too far

Are our values being so warped in the name of accommodation and diversity that we can no longer stand up for what is right?

Azizov is only 18 but he is one of three men charged with 79 offences , including kidnapping, conspiracy to commit sexual assault and hostage taking. The migrant social workers who RAPED women in Swedish care homes

Sweden is in the midst of battling a migrant care worker sexual assault crisis, making elderly women vulnerable to traumatic violence.

An Iraqi citizen raped an 100-year-old woman in Stockholm in October, but was not deported on the basis that he has strong ties to the country.

An elderly woman died a week after being sexually assaulted by a Syrian care worker – who visited her house on the pretense of assisting her, and instead entered her bed without consent.

The Liberals set up a PSW migrant path, rape is what they had in mind for Granny.

Joe Adam George: From Toronto to Sydney, ISIS is still an active threat to the West

Prime Ministers Of Canada Carney & Elghawaby

Despite recent attacks and escalating risks, Islamist extremism is largely absent from Carney’s national security agenda

Last Friday, three men were arrested in Toronto and charged with hate-motivated extremism targeting women and members of the Jewish community. One of them, 26-year-old Waleed Khan, also faces terrorism charges linked to ISIS, an exceptionally violent Sunni jihadist group also known as the Islamic State. According to the RCMP, Khan allegedly conspired with “persons known and unknown” in Toronto and elsewhere in Ontario to commit murder — a chilling indication that other extremist elements could be involved. It is the third ISIS-related arrest in Canada this year, following earlier cases in Montreal and Newmarket, bringing the total number of arrested suspects linked to the group since 2023 to 23.

Plot to mount UK’s worst terror attack foiled: Two ISIS-supporting migrants planned to ‘kill as many Jews as possible’

Walid Saadaoui and Amar Hussein Muslim Terrorists

Fanatics inspired by Islamic State face life in jail after they were today found guilty of plotting a gun attack on Jewish targets which police say could have been Britain’s ‘worst ever’ terrorist atrocity.

In a chilling reminder of how rising anti-Semitism since the October 7 massacre is fuelling violence against British Jews, migrants Walid Saadaoui and Amar Hussein sought to buy a stash of firearms and over 900 rounds of ammunition.

Fuelled by a twisted desire to exact revenge for Israel’s military response to the Hamas atrocity on Britain’s streets, the extremists planned to gun down participants at a march against anti-Semitism in Manchester.

Do women deserve to feel safe on our streets, or don’t they?

Osman Azizov is out on bail. It cannot be, and yet, apparently, it is. Among the 14 charges against the 18-year-old Toronto man, and two alleged accomplices, are sexual assault with a weapon, attempted kidnapping, impersonating a police officer and unauthorized possession of at least one firearm.

It’s a close race, but the kidnapping allegations are perhaps the most disturbing — because who knows what might have been in store for the victims afterwards?

Poll Shows Growing Support for Sharia Law in France

A new French survey suggests that a third of Muslims living in the country believe Sharia law should be applied worldwide. And just shy of 10% of those who support this think it should be introduced through coercion or force.

While interpretations of such a system differ, its implementation would inevitably bring far-reaching changes—particularly in how Europe approaches women’s rights and, especially, free speech, which is already weakening.

We can’t fight terrorism if we’re scared of being called Islamophobic

A city council has installed special barriers around the local Christmas market. Yet it’s strangely coy about why

Birmingham City Council has just made a very important announcement. To keep people safe while visiting the local Christmas market, it’s installed “Hostile Vehicle Mitigation” bollards. “These measures,” explained the council in a cheerful video for social media, “stop hostile vehicles from entering pedestrian areas, so you can enjoy the famous Frankfurt Christmas Market with confidence.”

Good to hear. All the same, I do find one aspect of this statement surprising.

I didn’t know vehicles could be hostile.
