President Donald Trump warned NATO allies on Thursday that if they don’t pay up, the U.S. won’t come to their defense if they’re attacked.
The president, since his first term, has pushed for other members of the alliance to spend 5% of their gross domestic product on defense.
Now he’s threatening to change U.S. policy when it comes to NATO’s Article Five – which states if one member is attacked, all countries in the alliance must respond – if they don’t pony up.
VERY INTERESTING
Trump says he will NOT protect NATO members if they are not paying their fair share.
He then points out that the US do NOT benefit from NATO!
“Do you think they’re gonna come and protect us? Hmmmm. They’re supposed to. I’m not so sure.”

But the TDS is so strong with Democrats, they couldn’t even bring themselves to applaud universal victories.
Tuesday’s presidential address to the joint session of Congress, the first-year equivalent to a State of the Union speech, was the highlight of Donald Trump’s political career.
It might have been the highlight of any presidential term in this century.
It was the longest, most boisterous, probably most partisan, and almost certainly most triumphant address to the legislative branch in modern American history and very likely in the mass-media age.

Although Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky finally agreed to the “Golden Parachute” US President Donald J. Trump offered him as a first step to have Russian President Vladimir Putin negotiate a ceasefire to the war he began three years ago, the meeting on February 28 between Trump and Zelensky — as the world, to its shock, saw on television — collapsed.
Trump seems to have been anticipating a signing ceremony; Zelensky seems to have been anticipating receiving assurances of greater security. Trump’s ultimate message apparently was: a Trump final offer is a Trump final offer.

When is a divisive speech not a divisive speech?
It’s when more than 3 out of 4 people agree with it.

The Great Capitulation continues as Trump’s enemies bend at the knee like he was BLM. The Associated Press reported, “Democratic activists fueled anti-Trump protests at GOP town halls but also rage at their own party.”
Ah. I see. AP openly admits the protests were not a grassroots effort but lefty kabuki theater with paid actors.
The session is scheduled for 9 pm. Will Trump announce the mineral deal with Ukraine?

They will bring other countries to the negotiating table.
Progressives and conservatives alike have denounced President Trump’s plan to impose reciprocal tariffs on nations that tax American imports, citing the potential costs to U.S. consumers. These critics overlook how tariffs are just one part of the administration’s broader economic strategy.
The Trump administration has three objectives related to America’s position in the international monetary system. First, it wants to maintain but reduce the financial burdens associated with the U.S.’s leading role. Second, it wants to get our national debt on a more sustainable path. Third, it wants to restore America’s industrial capacity.
KYIV, Ukraine — WASHINGTON — U.S. President Donald Trump slammed Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy on Monday for suggesting that the end of Russia’s war against Ukraine is still likely “very, very far away.”
“This is the worst statement that could have been made by Zelenskyy, and America will not put up with it for much longer!” Trump said in a post on his Truth Social platform.

“This guy doesn’t want Peace and America will NOT put up with it for much longer!”

Donald Trump could cut off the taps to Ukraine as he discusses cancelling military aid to the war-torn country during a meeting with his key advisers.
The president will meet with senior advisers, including Marco Rubio and Pete Hegseth, to consider a range of options, including cancelling aid that has already been approved and funded by the Biden administration, the New York Times reported.
The meeting follows a shouting match between Volodymyr Zelensky and Mr Trump in the Oval Office on Friday.

Zelenskyy came to the United States to sign the minerals deal. He even demanded that the signing occur in the United States and in front of the world. The deal could have been signed anywhere, but the Z-man wanted to sit down with Donald Trump.

Nato could be in its final days, a former Supreme Allied Commander has warned, as America’s commitment to the transatlantic alliance wavers.
Admiral James Stavridis, who served as Nato’s Europe commander from 2009-2013, said we could be witnessing the “last days” of the alliance and the start of a new “European Treaty Organisation”.
Donald Trump’s insistence on European leaders increasing their defence budgets, combined with his falling out with Volodymyr Zelensky in the Oval Office, has sparked concern among members of the alliance.
NATO Secretary General calls for Zelensky to ‘restore relationship’ with Trump following Oval Office clash
NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte called on March 1 for President Volodymyr Zelensky to mend relations with U.S. President Donald Trump following a tense exchange in White House a day prior.
Zelensky left Washington early without signing a mineral deal with the United States following a tense argument in front of journalists between the two leaders. Trump later reportedly ordered his officials to tell the Ukrainian delegation to leave the White House, despite protest from the Ukrainians.
Speaking to the BBC, Rutte said that it was “important that President Zelensky finds a way to restore his relationship with the American president and with the senior American leadership team.”

European leaders rallied around Volodymyr Zelensky after the exchange with Donald Trump and JD Vance. But arming Ukraine without U.S. help would be a struggle.
BRUSSELS — For Kyiv’s European allies, the shouting match in the Oval Office has intensified the pressure to fill the gaps in U.S. aid with their own weapons and to face up to whether they can go it alone in arming Ukraine.
The public breakdown has derailed days of European attempts to mend Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky’s ties with President Donald Trump and jeopardized the future of U.S. military aid for Ukraine.
If you watch the full Trump-Zelensky press conference, it is very clear that Zelensky, not Trump or Vance, became the antagonist. Both POTUS and VP were very respectful and cordial until Zelensky very publicly ignited a firestorm.

We’ve seen this movie before. A foreign leader comes to Washington, demands American blood and treasure, and our media elites swoon like teenage girls at a Taylor Swift concert. But yesterday’s Oval Office meeting between President Trump and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy didn’t follow the script, and predictably, the left is melting down.
Think Trump was aggressive to Zelenskyy for no reason?

Donald Trump will sign an executive order on Friday making English the official language of the United States, according to White House officials, and scrapping requirements that federal agencies provide language services to non-English speakers.
The US has never had an official language in the nearly 250 years since the country was founded.
The order is intended to improve government efficiency and promote national unity, according to White House officials.
