Young Canadians increasingly tie immigration to home affordability problems, survey finds

Canadians’ attitudes toward immigration are the most negative they have been since the early 1990s, driven particularly by young people linking high migrant inflows to the affordability crisis and a housing shortage.

A new report from the Institute for Research on Public Policy, written by University of Toronto researchers, shows just how suddenly and dramatically sentiment toward immigration has changed in recent years. The report is based on 26 surveys produced by the Environics Institute between 1981 and 2024.

Deportations to be reported to Parliament each month under Conservative changes to border bill

Ottawa would have to report to Parliament every month on the number of foreign nationals who have been deported, including those with criminal convictions, under changes to the government’s border bill pushed through by the Conservatives.

A slew of amendments to Bill C-12, including boosts to immigration enforcement, passed in a marathon meeting of the Commons public safety meeting on Tuesday evening, where MPs scrutinized the bill until midnight.

We can hope the number will not be zero …

Jamie Sarkonak: He was killed by Sikh extremists for serving Canada, and a tax-funded film is celebrating it

If you can find a way to watch the recently released Khalistani propaganda film Guru Nanak Jahaz, you might as well watch it. You paid for it, after all.

The film, which depicts the assassination of a Canadian civil servant by a Sikh terrorist as a heroic act of justice, has a “Funded by the Government of Canada” credit at the end. It was also supported by the B.C. government and gives special thanks to Conservative MP Tim Uppal and Liberal MP Sukh Dhaliwal. While the Liberals didn’t return a request for comment, a spokesperson for Uppal told me that he was not involved in the film and that the filmmakers did not communicate with him about the credit at any point.

New Data Vindicates Critics of Canada’s High Immigration Levels

Almost exactly one year ago, the federal government caved to rising opposition towards high immigration and announced a plan to hit the brakes and temporarily “pause population growth.” New data is now revealing that the Canadian public is reaping economic dividends from this immigration cut, confirming what opponents of high immigration have said all along.

Zero Immigration and remigration of the 3rd World malcontents should be the law.

Mass migration is creating a new anti-Western underclass

Immigration was once economically beneficial. Now the arguments of the ‘anti-colonial’ Left no longer accord with reality

The “anti-colonial” Left wants Western societies to atone for their “original sins”. From its historical role in slavery, imperialism and the extirpation of native peoples to class oppression, progressives argue that the West should pay penance today by allowing unrestricted mass immigration from the most wretched parts of the earth.

Yet mass migration has aroused increasingly fierce opposition throughout the West. This is true not only in the United States, but in other countries with a long history of successful migration, including the UK, the Netherlands and France. Moves to reduce migration are already in place in Italy, and seem set to be imposed soon in Germany, whose welfare state is creaking under the burden. Canada, once seen as one of the countries most positive about mass migration, has also announced plans for major reductions.

The propagandists of mass immigration, that is the liars attempting to to steal your country and replace you, are an odd alliance of Corporate, Political and Liberal-left demons.

They have weaponized not just language and institutions but entire groups to serve their hateful purpose.

And their purpose is seeing you dead. Do you think BLM and DEI were accidents? That Antifa is a grass roots political movement?

Do you think their glee at Charlie Kirk’s murder is some sort of demonic one-off?

Federal government to stop funding hotel rooms for asylum seekers, IRCC says

Asylum seekers staying in federally-funded hotels will soon have to check out as Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) says that funding will end in September.

A spokesperson for IRCC told CBC News via email that as of Thursday, the federal government was housing 485 asylum seekers in five hotels in Ontario and Quebec, noting it has spent approximately $1.1 billion on temporary hotel housing for asylum seekers since 2020.

“This measure was never meant to be permanent, and IRCC is funded to continue hotel operations only until September 30, 2025,” the email said.
