The shocking fight at a Kabaddi tournament in Alvaston, Derby, on August 20, 2023 was compared to a ‘medieval’ battle by a judge, who jailed seven of the men responsible to nearly 40 years in jail.

Last week, Century Initiative CEO Lisa Lalande penned an op-ed in the Toronto Star that not only attacked the federal government’s immigration cuts but also natural resources as a tool of economic growth.

Carney hired his pal Mark Wiseman as an advisor. He is a founder of the nation destroying Century Initiative determined to turn Canada into a 3rd world shithole.

Mass immigration is nothing more than an exploitive policy for profit scam by our elites and you and I are merely collateral damage.

I wonder where in the world Wiseman and Carney will choose to live after they succeed in turning Canada into an ungovernable dumpster fire.

‘Invisible poor’: Middle-income households making up to $125K annually getting squeezed out of the GTHA

The working middle class in the Greater Toronto and Hamilton Area – a group that includes teachers, nurses and other essential workers – have become “the invisible poor” and could soon be squeezed out of the region due to the ongoing housing crisis, a new report suggests.

On Tuesday, CivicAction published the first instalment of a four-part research series delving into the challenges middle-income workers in the GTHA face.

The authors of the report defined middle class workers as those making anywhere between $40,000 and $125,000 annually, based on data from Statistics Canada.

Mass immigration is policy for profit from which only our elites stand to gain.

Canada’s giant immigration industry will have to get used to ‘intense’ public debate

Douglas Todd: Worries about media coverage are emerging from the thousands of lawyers, agents and others in Canada paid to smooth the way each year for millions of migrants.

When I was asked to address members of the immigration division of the Canadian Bar Association, I expected an audience of maybe 25 to 50 lawyers.

But last Saturday, 400 immigration lawyers showed up at the Victoria Convention Centre to hear what three Canadian journalists and a think-tank member had to say about the media’s impact on migration.

The panel was asked to address immigration lawyers’ fears that heightened media coverage is “sparking intense public debate” and influencing “how immigrants are perceived and how decisions are made.”

The valedictorian at a west Ottawa high school says she’s been told not to come to school Monday after she made pro-Palestinian remarks during a speech at her commencement ceremony.

Elizabeth Yao largely focused on highlights from the past four years at Bell High School during her speech on Thursday, including a memorable waffle fundraiser and the days spent dozing off while reading Shakespeare.

Her comments on the war in Gaza came at the end, after a land acknowledgement.

You would not be far off speculating that core subjects have been degraded into deep debates about how many transgender Palestinian children can dance on a fake residential school grave.

Parents and politicians with rare exception have said little as questioning teachers or schoolboards began to resemble a rendezvous with the Peoples Court.

Ideological capture of our institutions and mass immigration from incompatible cultures did this to our country.

Britain is turning into a Third World country

It was little things that made me fall in love with Britain. You didn’t have to count your change in shops. You almost never saw private security guards. You could drink from the tap. You could flick a switch and the light would actually come on.

You could get into a taxi, confident, not only that you wouldn’t be mugged, but that you’d be driven by the shortest route and charged the correct fare. If you stopped at a red light, you would not have every car behind you hooting in fury. You could send valuables by post.

Arriving as a seven-year-old from Peru, I felt a glow of wonder at these things that, even now, has not entirely left me. I thought then, and I still think, that people who have grown up in this country are unconscionably blasé about what made it special.

Why Northern Ireland Is Really Rioting

The anti-immigration protests in Ballymena are a violent backlash against an unprecedented demographic upheaval.

For the fourth night in a row, Ballymena, Northern Ireland, has been gripped by unrest.

Riots broke out on Monday, following reports of an alleged sexual assault against a young girl. Two 14-year-old boys then appeared in court, charged with attempted rape, and were assisted in the courtroom by a Romanian interpreter. The assumption that the teenagers were foreigners fuelled speculation and anger in a town where tensions between the native population and migrant communities were already running high. Consequently, what began as a peaceful protest to show support for the victim and her family soon morphed into the days-long anti-migrant rioting we are currently seeing play out.

Professor of War in the Modern World, David Betz of King’s College London, has claimed that many European countries now exhibit signs of being in a pre-civil war state. According to his research, there is a statistically significant chance of a war breaking out in the next five years in a Western state, and given Europe’s interconnected nature, it could spark similar conflicts in neighbouring nations.

Water cannon used against Northern Ireland rioters

Police in Portadown have used water cannon to tackle rioters who were attacking them.

Officers were targeted with petrol bombs, fireworks, masonry, bricks and bottles.

The disturbance in the West Street area marked the County Armagh town’s second night of unrest, but was at a lower level than seen earlier in the week.

Record flood of investors behind Canada’s housing crisis

Douglas Todd: Canada’s distorted housing market calls for more than ‘cranes on the skyline,’ given that investors now own one in three homes. There are other ways.

This week three of four Canadians declared they have no confidence in Prime Minister Mark Carney’s ideas for solving the country’s housing affordability crisis.

Like most premiers and mayors, Carney is promising to “build, baby, build” to stimulate a record amount of housing construction. But Angus Reid Institute polling suggests the public is more than skeptical, perhaps in despair.

While voters understandably get lost in the complexities of solving a house-price catastrophe that sees average prices at a ridiculous $1.2 million in Greater Vancouver and $1.1 million in Toronto, at least one veteran housing analyst is making a clear and devastating case that Canada’s dilemma is being significantly fanned by a wave of investors.
