Is Donald Trump the victim of stochastic terrorism? A strange inversion has taken place

A strange inversion has taken place

In the monochrome universe of American progressive politics, where a phalanx of experts, hacks and NGOs constantly issue dire warnings about existential threats to democracy from the far-Right while determinedly looking the other way when it comes to threats from the far-Left or Islamists, the attempted assassination of Donald Trump was never supposed to happen. For how can Trump, the demonic inciter of terrorism, the dog-whistler of insurrection and deplorable enemy of the state, be the victim of political violence? It doesn’t add up.

Mayorkas Is Blocking Secret Service Director From Testifying

The Department of Homeland Security has opened an investigation after the Secret Service catastrophically failed to protect former President Donald Trump at a rally in Butler, Pennsylvania last weekend. Trump narrowly escaped death after a bullet went through his ear while he was speaking at a lectern. The shooter was positioned on an unsecured roof just 140 yards away from the stage. The DHS Inspector General has also opened an investigation.

Secret Service was told police could not watch building used by Trump rally shooter

The warning from local law enforcement of insufficient manpower adds to questions about whether there was adequate security for the high-stakes presidential campaign visit.

Local police alerted the Secret Service before former president Donald Trump’s rally Saturday that they lacked the resources to station a patrol car outside a key building where a gunman later positioned himself and shot at Trump, according to local and federal law enforcement.

Richard Goldinger, the district attorney in Butler County, Pa., where the Trump rally took place, said the Secret Service “was informed that the local police department did not have manpower to assist with securing that building.”

Goldinger’s account was confirmed by a Secret Service official briefed on the incident, who spoke on the condition of anonymity to be candid about a sensitive, ongoing investigation.

To the “nice people”, Trump deserved to die

For months, people have heard politicians, actors and the press calling Trump “Hitler” and the GOP a Nazi movement.

If Thomas Matthew Crooks had succeeded, America would have plunged into civil war.

What is the moral lesson of the shooting of Donald Trump?

This article appeared in the Washington Post: “With each passing day, it will become increasingly difficult and dangerous to stop Trump by any means, legal or illegal”.

By any means, legal or illegal? So why not act accordingly? And didn’t actors like Johnny Depp imagine they could “kill Trump”?

Editor at a ‘Major’ News Outlet Suggests Iconic Photo of Trump is ‘Propaganda’ and Shouldn’t Be Used

The photo, taken by AP’s Evan Vucci, along with the photo shot through the legs of a Secret Service agent of Trump on the ground taken by Getty’s Anna Moneymaker, and the “bullet photo” showing the trajectory of the near-fatal bullet by the New York Times photographer Doug Mills have all appeared on countless websites.

But an Axios media trend assessment on Tuesday suggested that news outlets should refrain from using the photos lest they be seen as “propaganda.”

‘Not That Organized’: CNN Analyst Assures Audience There’s No ‘Deep State That Could Take Out Donald Trump’

Trump survived an assassination attempt by now-deceased 20-year-old Thomas Matthew Crooks at his Saturday rally in Pennsylvania, with some Republicans blaming Democrats’ rhetoric for inciting the incident. “CNN News Central” host Kate Bolduan asserted that Republicans’ use of the word “they” typically refers to Democrats and the media, with Preston suggesting that they might be alluding to the deep state but asserting that such an entity does not exist.

They Tried to Kill Trump – Now We’re Going to Fight Twice As Hard

The nerve of Donald Trump, inciting that scumbag to shoot him by being literally Hitler, according to the regime media and the regime husk. And then his supporters shockingly dared to get mad about it – why aren’t they uniting around gun control, even though Trump was protected by guns and guns killed the scumbag, and even though guns are the only thing keeping Democrat-supported criminals and Democrat–supported tyranny at bay? But we know whose fault this is. And they know whose fault this is. And they’re going to lie about it anyway.

The hashtags #fakeassassination, #stagedshooting and #stagedbytrump were widely used across the four social networks, it said.

Blackie’s Star Takes The Vitriol Down A Notch: Trump Dangerous and Unfit

In Milwaukee, it’s clear what the attempted assassination of Donald Trump really changed

“… For those who think, correctly, that he is dangerous and unfit, the fact that someone tried to kill him isn’t likely to sway any votes. For his supporters, the attack may add to the myth, but they were already in the bag.”

Local counter-sniper team was inside building where Trump shooter climbed on the roof and opened fire: sources

A local police counter-sniper team was stationed inside the building where attempted assassin Thomas Crooks climbed on the roof and fired on Donald Trump, law enforcement sources told The Post.

The building — the AGR International Inc. factory in Butler, Pennsylvania — was being used by local police as a “watch post” for snipers to scan for threats as the former president spoke onstage

only 130 yards away, according to sources.

Incredible.

Stunning new details from @CBSNews on how secret service snipers noticed the shooter before the Trump rally in Butler, PA on Saturday.

There were three snipers stationed INSIDE the building the shooter was on, according to a local law enforcement officer with direct knowledge.

One of the snipers inside saw Crooks outside looking up at the roof observing the building and then disappeared, according to local law enforcement.

They Don’t Want ‘Unity,’ They Want A Reset. Don’t Give It To Them.

Predictable as ever, Democrats and their reliable partners in the news media have escalated political conflict to the point of violence and now that the once unspeakable has happened they’re insisting on a do-over. No thanks!

Naturally, they don’t just come out and say that’s what they want. They instead dress it up in calls for “unity” and declare it a time to “cool it down.”
