US government workers are describing an atmosphere of “fear” and “madness” as they grapple with a barrage of executive orders issued by Donald Trump and threats to their jobs from the office of personnel management, the agency tasked with managing the federal civil service, which has been taken over by the billionaire Elon Musk.

Weeks before the administration transition, federal worker unions reported low morale among workers in anticipation of pushes for intimidation, mass firings and harassment.

Elon Musk’s aides have locked career government bureaucrats out of computer systems that operate a federal government human resources agency.

Musk, the owner of social media platform X and the leader of the Department of Government Efficiency — which is tasked with slashing government waste, fraud, and abuse — installed allies at the government resources agency known as the Office of Personnel Management (OPM).

Today it’s an interview which J.D. Vance did with Fox News in which he declared that:

There’s this old school – and I think it’s a very Christian concept by the way – that you love your family and then you love your neighbour, and then you love your community, and then you love your fellow citizens in your own country, and then after that, you can focus and prioritise the rest of the world. A lot of the far left has completely inverted that.

It hasn’t been my intention to run a series of columns chronicling the Democrats’ long sojourn into the political wilderness, but let’s face it — these things are writing themselves.
Take, for example, the eight painful minutes that ensued when Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-Pfizer), the self-styled Advocate For The People who rose to prominence as a fake Native American academic and who again and again is exposed as an utter fraud in politics, was given the microphone to examine Robert F. Kennedy Jr. as the Trump administration’s nominee to head the Department of Health and Human Services.

A shadowy, leftist group has targeted Robert F. Kennedy Jr.’s nomination to lead the Department of Health and Human Services.

Fight For The Future, a tech advocacy group with leftist leadership, launched a campaign on Jan. 28 to sink the confirmation of Kennedy, whom it smeared as a “bigoted conspiracy theorist” — despite the group’s adherence to wild theories that men can be women, and that President Donald Trump is a “wannabe fascist.” The organization published a petition to pressure senators to keep Kennedy out of office, and a scorecard tracking how lawmakers plan to vote on the nomination.

President Donald Trump’s administration is offering federal workers the chance to take a “deferred resignation” with a severance package of roughly eight months of pay and benefits.

A senior administration official told NBC News that they expect 5%-10% of the federal workforce to quit, which, they estimate, could lead to around $100 billion in savings.
