Ottawa told Trump that visa crackdown led to fewer Indians, Bangladeshis illegally crossing the border

Illegal aliens cross into US from Canada

Ottawa flagged to the incoming Trump administration that it had stopped more than 2,000 Indians and Bangladeshis from boarding flights to Canada, resulting in a drop in illegal border crossings to the U.S., internal government briefing documents show.

In an attempt to reassure President Donald Trump and his border czar, Tom Homan, that Canada is serious about clamping down on illegal crossings, Ottawa lauded investigations into visa fraud that targeted Indians and Bangladeshis.

How about just banning travel from those countries?

Doug Ford says U.S. governors agree Trump’s comments on Canada were ‘insulting’

Ontario Premier Doug Ford says his U.S counterparts are concerned about a drop in tourism from Canadians, telling him that President Donald Trump’s comments about making Canada the 51st state were insulting to Canada.

“Well, as we talk to the governors, a lot of governors are saying it’s insulting, it’s insulting to your closest friend and allies,” Ford told CNN in an interview Monday morning.

“We love the U.S. I love the U.S. Canadians love Americans. There’s one person that is causing this issue, and that’s President Trump. Hopefully he’ll take another avenue and start mending fences, because right now, as the governors told us here, they’ve seen a drastic decline in Canadian tourism.”

Iran was behind two assassination attempts on President Trump, Israeli PM Netanyahu claims in bombshell interview

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu accused Iran Sunday of orchestrating the two failed assassination attempts on President Trump during his third presidential campaign last year.

Netanyahu characterized Trump as the greatest threat to Iran and its ambitions for acquiring a nuclear weapon — claiming that’s why the rogue regime tried to murder him, in a shocking moment during an interview with Brett Baier of Fox News.

US tells states: Follow Cass Review in treatment of ‘trans’ children

The US government is pressuring states to halt funding for puberty blockers for children and follow the UK’s Cass Review.

The Center for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS), which provides health coverage to more than 160 million Americans, urged directors to adopt the findings of the report, which concluded children who think they are transgender should not be rushed into treatment they may regret.

In a letter sent to medical directors, seen by The Telegraph, the agency said that Britain has “diverged” from the United States and that the National Health Service’s new approach is more effective.

A Battered Iran Signals It Wants to De-Escalate Hostilities With Israel and Negotiate

DUBAI—Iran has been urgently signaling that it seeks an end to hostilities and resumption of talks over its nuclear programs, sending messages to Israel and the U.S. via Arab intermediaries, Middle Eastern and European officials said.

In the midst of a ferocious Israeli air campaign, Tehran has told Arab officials they would be open to return to the negotiating table as long as the U.S. doesn’t join the attack, the officials said. They also passed messages to Israel saying it is in the interest of both sides to keep the violence contained.

But with Israeli warplanes able to fly freely over the capital and Iranian counterattacks inflicting minimal damage, Israeli leaders have little incentive to halt their assault before doing more to destroy Iran’s nuclear sites and further weaken the theocratic government’s hold on power.

What would the point of this be? Regime change seems the best course of action. This is nothing more than a Hail Mary by the Mullahs in my view.

Nearly 1 million illegal immigrants have ‘self deported’ under Trump, which has led to higher wages

While ICE arrests and deportations have grabbed headlines, President Trump is also running a separate but complementary “mass deportation” program — one that encourages aliens here unlawfully to go home voluntarily.

And if reports are correct, that plan is more successful than anyone could have imagined.

Based on government data, my organization, the Center for Immigration Studies, has conservatively estimated there are about 15.4 million illegal aliens in the United States, a 50% increase over the four tumultuous years of the Biden administration.

Trump warns America ‘could get involved’ directly in Israel-Iran conflict

President Trump warned Sunday that the US could get directly involved in the Israel-Iran conflict if things continue to escalate.

While Trump predicted that Iran and Israel will “make a deal” to end the deadly violence that has seen the Jewish state and Islamic republic exchange countless missiles since Friday, the president said the US may find itself involved if a truce doesn’t happen.

Trump vetoed Israeli plan to kill Iran’s supreme leader – report

President Donald Trump vetoed an Israeli plan in recent days to kill Iran’s supreme leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, two US officials told Reuters on Sunday.

“Have the Iranians killed an American yet? No. Until they do we’re not even talking about going after the political leadership,” said one of the sources, a senior US administration official.

The officials, speaking on condition of anonymity, said top US officials have been in constant communications with Israeli officials in the days since Israel launched a massive attack on Iran in a bid to halt its nuclear program.

Canada is sovereign, says Starmer in rebuke to Trump

Sir Keir Starmer has described Canada as an “independent, sovereign nation” ahead of his trip there in a clear rebuke of Donald Trump.

Sir Keir will become the first British prime minister to visit Canada in eight years as he travels first to Ottawa and then to Kananaskis for the summit of the G7 group of nations.

Mr Trump, the US president, has repeatedly talked about making Canada the 51st state of America, insisting his interest is not a joke. It has forced Mark Carney, Canada’s new prime minister, to hit back, leading to a deterioration in relations.

I bet Trump is just shakin!

Investigating Catholic NGOs’ Role in Immigration Invasion

At no point has the Church ever stipulated that one must abandon one’s homeland to tens of millions of lawless insurgents.

Under the presidency of self-described Catholic Joe Biden, Catholic individuals and organizations were ruthlessly targeted, prosecuted, and persecuted for their devotion to Catholic truth. Whether it was forcing LGBT propaganda and rainbow standards down the whole world’s throats, raiding, arresting, and imprisoning pro-life Catholics, infiltrating and spying on Catholic parishes, or allowing activists to deface and destroy Catholic churches across the country with impunity, the Biden regime took a punitive approach to the faithful practice of Catholicism. Under President Donald Trump and the Republican trifecta, Catholic organizations are once again under the microscope — but for the right reasons, this time.

Trump: On the Way to Crucial Summits

While President Donald Trump prepares for G7 and NATO summits this month, political circles and media in Europe are busy trying to cut him down to size before the two events.

“Trump will come empty-handed,” says one commentator. “None of the things he announced with fanfare has been achieved.”

Other commentators use such phrases as “deflated balloon” and “bogged down in the mess he created.”

At first sight, it looks certain that he has not scored big on any of the dramatic goals he announced.

Trump is ‘a showman before he’s a statesman’: former PM Joe Clark on annexation threats

Amid the ongoing trade war between the U.S. and Canada, Canadians should bear in mind that U.S. President Donald Trump is “a showman before he’s a statesman,” former prime minister Joe Clark says.

The leaders of the world’s most advanced economies are descending on Kananaskis, Alta. for the G7 summit this week, with Trump expected to attend.

Ahead of the gathering in Alberta, CTV Question Period host Vassy Kapelos asked Clark what’s been going through his mind in recent months as Trump has levied sweeping tariffs and frequently threatened to annex Canada.

Joe Who? Oh yea I remember that guy.
