Rush Was Right About Illegal Immigration

I miss Rush Limbaugh. During the Biden years, I couldn’t help imagining him up in Heaven begging God to put him back in the game. Today, I imagine him sitting in a bar smoking a cigar with Ronald Reagan and buying a round for the house every time a new EO drops. When he was here, however, there were a few things that he used to say that I loved because of their clarity. He always pointed out that illegal immigration was all about votes and that Democrats were hypocrites on the issue. He’d suggest that if it was really compassion that drove the issue, the solution was simple: immediately legalize them with the caveat that they could never vote. Democrats, of course, never went for it.

In 1571, Pope Pius V created the Holy League, organizing the Catholic states of Europe in a coalition to end Ottoman control of the Eastern Mediterranean, and to protect Europe from Islamic invasion. The naval Battle of Lepanto that year resulted in the near-total destruction of the Ottoman fleet by the Christian forces, and bought Europe time. The final assault of the Ottoman Empire on Europe would come just over a century later, at the gates of Vienna, where the Europeans defeated the Turks for all time.

The point is this: the Catholic Church once had a pope who defended Western civilization. That was then. Now it has Pope Francis.

Pete Hegseth says America will focus on domestic concerns and the threat of China over sending peace-keeping troops to Ukraine

Europe can no longer count on the United States to come to its defence if Russia attacks, Pete Hegseth warned Nato allies on Wednesday.

The firebrand US secretary of defence said the Continent would have to step up to support Ukraine and confront the threat of Russia as his country shifts its focus to tackling China and securing its domestic borders.

He also ruled out sending US troops to help keep the peace in Ukraine in the event of a ceasefire.

As Canadian sovereignty is undermined and an election approaches, politicians are calling for an investigation of X.

On Feb. 2, a day after Prime Minister Justin Trudeau vowed to fight threatened U.S. tariffs on Canadian exports, American right-wing influencer Tim Pool took to X to send a message about relations between the two countries.

“After we destroy their economy their will to resist will erode,” he said in a post that got 2.2 million views.

“We will then march in unopposed and deliver Canada to its rightful place as a territory of the U.S. with no political representation.”

Stephen Harper says Canada should ‘accept any level of damage’ to fight back against Donald Trump

OTTAWA—U.S. President Donald Trump’s annexation threats should be met with determination to preserve this country’s independence at any cost, says former prime minister Stephen Harper.

Speaking Tuesday in Ottawa at the launch of his latest history book, “Flags of Canada,” Harper welcomed a surge in Canadian nationalism including, he said, from the current Prime Minister Justin Trudeau.

He forgets that for the past 10 years Trudeau’s government did everything possible to harm Canada and “Old Stock” Canadians along with their media minions and corporate cronies.

Consequently many would seriously consider a union economic or otherwise with the US rather than continue within the slow decline of our racist, genocidal white oppressor nation.

Harpers own record is not stellar. Under his watch the ongoing Temporary foreign worker scandal first blew up.

Islamist immigration was a feature not a bug under Harper’s tenure and Jason Kenney his identity politics front man.

And lets not forget Harper’s promise to defund CBC.

I just can’t get excited about a patriotic movement lead by the same elites who have worked diligently to destroy the beloved Canada we once knew.

Most Europeans see Trump’s US as more a necessary partner than ally, poll finds

Donald Trump’s return to the White House has led to a “remarkable shift” in Europeans’ view of the US, according to a survey, with even the most America-friendly no longer seeing Washington primarily as an ally.

The polling, of 11 EU member states plus Ukraine, Switzerland and the UK, found most people now regarded the US as merely a “necessary partner” – even in countries such as Poland and Denmark that barely 18 months ago had considered the US an ally.

An average of 50% of Europeans across the member states surveyed viewed the US this way, the study revealed, with an average of only 21% seeing it as an ally, leading the report’s authors to urge a more “realistic, transactional” EU approach.

It’s called paying your own freight rather trying to get a free ride as Canada does in NATO.
