Is the Gaza aid checkpoint stampede the moment US patience runs out?

Binyamin Netanyahu is facing his most difficult set of dilemmas since the war with Hamas in Gaza began on October 7.

The circumstances of the deaths of more than 100 Palestinian civilians on the coastal road by Gaza City on Thursday morning will continue to be hotly debated, with each side sticking to its narrative.

The Palestinians claim that a stampede was caused by Israeli troops firing into a crowd gathering around a supply convoy. Israel claims not to have been involved in the stampede. But the facts remain that a large number of civilians queuing for food were killed in an area the Israel Defence Forces (IDF) controls and that Israel bears a responsibility for their deaths.

Canada bringing back visa requirements for Mexican nationals to curb asylum seekers

The federal government is reimposing some visa requirements on Mexican nationals visiting Canada, a senior government source tells Radio-Canada.

The new rules will take effect on 11:30 p.m. ET on Thursday.

Quebec Premier François Legault has been calling on the federal government to do more to slow the influx of asylum seekers into his province. Last week, he said Ottawa should bring back the visa requirement for Mexican travellers.

In less than 24 hours, two separate stories of 14-year-old girls being raped by ‘bad hombres’ hit the news cycle

If police can be held responsible for conduct while acting in their professional capacities, then why not the judges, prosecutors, and politicians aiding and abetting the criminal aliens wreaking havoc and violence?

I actually almost missed the fact that when I came across the “illegal migrant rapes a 14-year-old girl” headline twice, it reflected two separate instances of illegal migrants raping a young teen-aged female—understandably I thought it was the same story.

Networks SUPPRESS Arrest of Illegal Alien Shooter of 3 D.C. Cops

Earlier this month, three Metro D.C. police officers were shot in the line of duty, as they were serving a warrant on charges of animal cruelty. All three networks reported on the shooting at the time. However, none of them reported on the arrest of the shooter, perhaps due to a very inconvenient and uncomfortable reason: the shooter is in the country illegally.

Democrats brace for Gaza backlash in Michigan vote

Hamas Rally Dearborn Michigan

Voters in Michigan have been organising for months to send Joe Biden a message during the state’s primary on Tuesday: “No ceasefire. No vote.”

After President Biden narrowly defeated Donald Trump in Michigan in the last election in 2020, a protest vote tied to events in Gaza is of real cause of concern for the Biden team.

The two are headed for a likely rematch in November, and in a close presidential election – as is predicted by most polls – experts say Michigan is a must-win state.

Michelle Obama tops Kamala Harris, Hillary Clinton and Gavin Newsom as a replacement for Joe Biden, 81, if he drops out

Michelle Obama has topped Gavin Newsom, Kamala Harris and Hillary Clinton in a poll of who Democrats believe could replace 81-year-old Joe Biden on the ticket if he drops out.

The former first lady’s name has surfaced as a potential dramatic late entry into the 2024 race with mounting questions about Biden’s age and fitness for a second term.

The 60-year-old has said multiple times she isn’t interested in running for office and has admitted she is ‘terrified’ of the outcome of this year’s election.

Corporate Media Cover For Biden’s Border Invasion By Pretending Laken Riley Murder Suspect Wasn’t An Illegal Crosser

Corporate media are covering for the deadly consequences of President Joe Biden’s border invasion by pretending the illegal border crosser who allegedly assaulted, kidnapped, imprisoned, and murdered 22-year-old University of Georgia nursing student Laken Hope Riley this week was merely a nearby resident and not an illegal alien from Venezuelan with a criminal history.

Majority of Americans Now Back Trump-Style Border Wall: Poll

Illegal immigration has become a key concern on the minds of voters this election year, with a new poll showing that, for the first time in the survey’s history, a majority Americans support building a wall along the U.S.-Mexico border.

With record numbers of illegal immigrants pouring into the country, public concern about the border crisis is higher during President Joe Biden’s term than under the prior two administrations, according to a Monmouth University poll released on Feb. 26.

How to Fix the Border

If a Democrat is sworn in as president of the United States next January, it’s not inconceivable that over the next four (or eight!) years, much of U.S. immigration law could come to resemble those archaic statutes that no one has bothered to repeal, like South Carolina’s ban on keeping a horse in your bathtub. But if someone becomes president who actually wants to create a sustainable immigration regime that promotes the national interest, his or her priority should be to stabilize the border, and next would be to implement administrative and statutory changes that would prevent the problem from returning.

America can mass deport illegal aliens, and we know this because it’s done so before

The headlines are full of stories about illegal aliens: They’re raping children, murdering young women, crashing their cars into children, assaulting and murdering police officers…and the list goes on. However, we’re told that we’re stuck with them. Well, we’re not. In the 1950s, when there was political will—and a plea from Mexico to send its citizens home—we did mass deport illegal aliens. Like Pakistan deporting its illegal Afghan aliens, El Salvador jailing its gangs, or Argentina balancing its budget in nine weeks, it just requires political will.

Think we’re nothing like Americans? Some troubling findings in Canada are emerging, Star poll suggests

Watching American political news these days, many Canadians may be tempted to be smug — our politics isn’t that bad, at least not yet.

It might be a good idea to put that smugness on hold. Abacus Data went into the field this week for the Star with some probing questions about trust in the media and institutions, and uncovered some stark polarization emerging in Canada.

Abacus CEO David Coletto calls it troubling, and even ventures to say we could be witnessing the emergence of two Canadas. “Basically, Canada is two worlds — those who have some trust in most institutions and those who don’t.”

Lax Canadian visa requirements fuel migrant surge into US from up north: ‘There’s a big opportunity for them’

Migrants desperate to get into the US from Mexico often pay human smuggler “coyotes” thousands of dollars to help sneak across the border in high-risk operations with no guarantees of safety or success.

But for travelers from a growing number of countries, gaining legal entry into Canada is simple, which has made The Great White North — with a much larger US border and less officers patrolling it — a more attractive option for illegally entering the US.

“It’s really easy for Mexican citizens to come into Canada as visitors, and then they have the opportunity to cross illegally into the United States,” Canadian immigration consultant Fernando Torres told The Post.

U.S. Examined Allegations of Cartel Ties to Allies of Mexico’s President

American law enforcement officials spent years looking into allegations that allies of Mexico’s president, Andrés Manuel López Obrador, met with and took millions of dollars from drug cartels after he took office, according to U.S. records and three people familiar with the matter.

The inquiry, which has not been previously reported, uncovered information pointing to potential links between powerful cartel operatives and Mexican advisers and officials close to the president while he governed the country.
