Biden’s Border Catastrophe

The president’s recent pledge to “shut down” the border suggests that, if nothing else could, his political survival might finally motivate him to enforce the law.

Immigration was already bound to be a pivotal issue in this year’s elections. The standoff between Texas and the federal government, however, emphasizes just how egregious the problem has become—and highlights an especially glaring vulnerability for President Biden in November.

Here’s a recap of the escalating standoff. Last week, Chief Justice John Roberts and Justice Amy Coney Barrett joined the Supreme Court’s liberal minority in a 5-4 ruling that allows U.S. Border Patrol agents to dismantle razor wire along the river in Eagle Pass, Texas, which the state had built to prevent illegal border crossings. The federal government claimed that the razor wire prevented Border Patrol from aiding migrants in distress, including three who recently drowned. Texas governor Greg Abbott responded that Border Patrol was never denied access and blamed the Biden administration for the migrant deaths. Abbott has said that he will continue defending the state’s border despite the Court’s ruling.

Squad member Ilhan Omar slammed for ‘disgraceful’ speech

Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-Minn.) is being accused of ‘treason’ and calls to be removed from Congress she faces fierce opposition for a speech where she unapologetically declared she is ‘Somalia first.’

Somaliland Ambassador Rhoda Elmi reposted video of Omar’s speech on X and called it ‘regrettably unbecoming’ and ‘lacking in common decency.’

The leaked video of Omar’s speech on January 27 quickly went viral and garnered widespread criticism, including from far-right Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-Ga.) who accused her colleague of using her position to protect people who ‘hate America’ and also said she’s clearly admitting to putting another country ahead of American interests.

Is This What Biden Meant By ‘Unity’?

The only thing Americans are unified about is that Biden needs to retire.

During President Biden’s inaugural address, he used the word “unity” at least a dozen times. He told us, “Today, on this January day, my whole soul is in this: Bringing America together. Uniting our people.” Three years later, his irresponsible policies and incendiary rhetoric have rendered the nation more divided than at any time in recent memory. Nowhere is this more evident than at the southern border where Biden has created a humanitarian crisis by ignoring federal immigration law and suing the state of Texas for exercising its constitutional right to defend itself from what its governor accurately describes as a foreign invasion.

Trump is right – the world is less stable under Biden

Donald Trump said yesterday that we’re ‘on the brink of World War III’ after a suicide drone killed three US soldiers and injured a further 34 in Jordan. ‘This attack would never have happened if I was president, not even a chance – just like the Iranian-backed Hamas attack on Israel would never have happened, the war in Ukraine would never have happened, and we would now have peace throughout the world,’ said Trump. ‘Our country cannot survive with Joe Biden as Commander in Chief.’

Jump in illegal crossings causes speculation amongst residents of Canada-U.S. border states

Around the bar at Wayne’s Lanes, a bowling alley in the Vermont village of Canaan, the rumours of people clandestinely slipping across the nearby border from Canada come out in a trickle.

There was the couple spotted walking down a remote road last October, clad in floral shirts and shorts as if they had no idea what to expect from the chill of a New England autumn. The four figures, carrying backpacks, seen crossing a farm field. Others trekking through the forest or waiting by the side of the highway.

Biden is planning to throttle Israel’s arms supply as fury grows against Netanyahu’s bombing campaign in Gaza

President Joe Biden is reportedly considering using weapons sales as a means to convince Israel’s Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to scale back their attack on the Gaza Strip.

Sources told NBC News that the Pentagon has been directed by the Biden administration to review what weaponry Israel has requested that could be used as leverage to scale down their military attack on Gaza.

At least 26,422 Palestinians have been killed and 65,087 injured by Israeli counterstrikes since October 7, the Hamas-run Gaza health ministry said Sunday.

Trump Blasts Biden for Slain US Troops: “Our Country Cannot Survive with Joe Biden as Commander-in-Chief”

Former President Donald Trump has strongly condemned sitting President Joe Biden for the deaths of three U.S. troops and dozens of casualties in a drone attack on Sunday.

“The drone attack on a U.S. Military Installation in Jordan, killing 3 American Servicemembers, and wounding many more, marks a horrible day for America,” he said on Truth Social.

“My most profound sympathies go to the Families of the Brave Servicemembers we have lost,” he continued. “I ask all Americans to join me in praying for those who have been wounded. This brazen attack on the United States is yet another horrific and tragic consequence of Joe Biden’s weakness and surrender….”

Three US troops killed in drone attack in Jordan

Three US troops have been killed and 25 injured in a drone attack on a US base in Jordan, the US military said.

US Central Command (Centcom) said in a statement the casualties were caused by a drone attack at a base in northeast Jordan, near the Syria border.

US President Joe Biden said that the attack was carried out by “radical Iran-backed militant groups”.

This is the first time US soldiers have been killed in the region after Hamas’s 7 October attack on Israel.

Border Patrol has ‘no plans’ to remove razor wire set up by Texas amid feud with Biden admin

Border Patrol has “no plans” to remove razor wire placed by Texas along the southern border, a senior Customs and Border Protection (CBP) official told Fox News on Friday, stressing a “strong” relationship with Texas despite an ongoing legal battle between the state and the administration.

Texas is currently locked in a multi-pronged legal fight with the federal government over the security of the Texas-Mexico border. The federal government has threatened legal action over Texas’ recent seizure of Shelby Park near Eagle Pass, while lawsuits are ongoing over the administration’s cutting of razor wire set up by Texas and the establishment of buoys in the Rio Grande. Texas has declared that it has a right to “self-defense” against what it says is a migrant “invasion.”

Illegal Migration Forcing U.S. Constitutional Crisis

From Eagle Pass to Lampedusa: As goes the Rio Grande, so goes the Mediterranean?

You wouldn’t know it from the lack of attention in the European and American media, but the United States is moving quickly toward a major constitutional crisis. The cause? The massive number of illegal migrants crossing the U.S.-Mexico border, which Washington is doing virtually nothing to stop.

Since 2021, the U.S. Government has caught 6 million illegal migrants have crossing illegally into America from Mexico, which shares a border with Texas. In December alone, a record high of 302,000 migrants crossed the Rio Grande—more than the number of migrants who entered Europe illegally in all of 2023.

Smith, 58, was put to death Thursday in a ‘horrific’ 22-minute ordeal when a gas mask was placed over his face, before a stream of 100 percent nitrogen gas suffocated him inside the execution chamber at the William C. Holman prison in Atmore, Alabama.

The murderer’s spiritual guide, Jeff Hood, described the execution as the ‘worst thing’ he had ever seen, claiming prison officials gasped in shock as he died far slower than anticipated.

U.S. Secretly Alerted Iran Ahead of Islamic State Terrorist Attack

WASHINGTON—The U.S. secretly warned Iran that Islamic State was preparing to carry out the terrorist attack early this month that killed more than 80 Iranians in a pair of coordinated suicide bombings, U.S. officials said.

The confidential alert came after the U.S. acquired intelligence that Islamic State’s affiliate in Afghanistan, ISIS-Khorasan, known as ISIS-K, was plotting to attack Iran, they said.

American officials said the information passed to Iran was specific enough about the location and sufficiently timely that it might have proved useful to Tehran in thwarting the attack on Jan. 3 or at least mitigating the casualty toll.
