Laughable Criticism of Nick Shirley

It is absolutely true that Nick Shirley’s one-day video blitz investigation of Somali daycares in Minnesota produced insufficient evidence to put anybody in jail.

It’s even possible that he made a mistake or two, although given what we already know, the preponderance of the evidence says that most of these daycares are shell companies that exist only to fleece the government. It’s not like Shirley’s video is the only evidence—the US Attorney is actively prosecuting cases, and now citizen journalists around the country are revealing fake Somali daycares.

Minn. Somali-run day care bizarrely reports all their important documents about child care were stolen in mysterious break-in

Stupid white liberal woman in public declaration of stupidity

A Somali-run day care in Minneapolis is claiming somebody broke in and stole “important documents” as the national spotlight shines on the unfolding multibillion-dollar fraud scandal involving Minnesota human services.

Nasrulah Mohamed, manager of Nakomis Day Care Center, told reporters that a suspect entered through the kitchen at the rear of the facility, damaging a wall and breaking into the building’s office, sometime on Tuesday.

He said the alleged prowler stole “important documentation” including children’s enrollment information, employee documentation and checkbooks.

Talk about hard luck!

Why Israel and Trump Should Be Cautious About Pakistani Troops in Gaza

Israeli officials report that three countries have agreed to Washington’s request to participate in a postwar Gaza “International Stabilization Force” (ISF). The identities of all three have not been disclosed, though Indonesia may be one of them. Earlier reports also identified Pakistan as a possible contributor to the ISF.

In addition, Pakistan does not officially recognize Israel, and has never designated Hamas as a terrorist organization. It may well have an interest in making sure that Hamas can continue its “resistance” — meaning terrorism.

Trump Admin Looking at Revoking Somali Citizenship

White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt said the Trump administration wanted to revoke the citizenship of any Somali Americans convicted of fraud amid a large-scale welfare scandal engulfing Minnesota.

“It’s something the Department of Homeland Security, the Department of State is currently looking at right now,” she said during an interview on Fox and Friends Wednesday morning.

Please don’t let them into Canada.

Somali Congresswoman Ilhan Omar facing probe over how her family wealth rocketed from near-nothing to $30million in just one year

Minnesota Congresswoman Ilhan Omar is facing scrutiny after her assets appeared to skyrocket from only $1,000 to almost $30 million in just one year.

Two companies, both owned by her husband and listed on Omar’s most recent financial disclosure form, seemed to explode in value between 2023 and last year.

Rose Lake Capital LLC was valued between $5 million and $25 million in 2024, according to the document, filed in May.

As long as Trump is in office, Canada is at risk. This is why protecting ourselves is the most important thing we can do

The week that Donald Trump was elected I offered Justin Trudeau some free advice in this newspaper.

At that time, Trudeau was trailing Pierre Poilievre in the polls by 25 points and had been for two years, hanging onto power despite being so personally unpopular that he could not win support for anything.

I thought Canada needed a leader to calm the political waters by tacking hard to the centre, so that the country could respond to the Trump challenge in a unified way. I wrote that Trudeau had to do four things he wouldn’t want to do: get rid of the carbon tax, remove the emissions cap on Alberta oil, tighten immigration and increase military spending.

Federal Investigators Discover Minnesota’s Somali Daycare Fraud Dates Back a Decade

A federal fraud investigation into Minnesota daycare centers has uncovered a troubling discovery — the scheme may have been operating undetected for more than a decade.

The discovery was unearthed from evidence in a 2018 fraud case out of Hennepin County against multiple daycare centers for allegedly swindling the government out of more than $1 million. A video of a 2015 Fox 9 KMSP report alleged that low-income parents would sign up their children for daycare services, which would then claim reimbursement for those services that were never provided.

Learning From the Past, Leading in the Present

Using military history to restore competence and integrity to senior leadership.

Eventually, the American public is going to realize that, in too many cases, its armed forces are being led by senior officers who are either moral cripples or uniformed incompetents. Worse, very few have been held accountable for their deficiencies. That is not true in all cases, but many of our four-star leaders have proved unequal to the tasks assigned them. This is a damning assessment, but I am not alone in that judgment.

ABC, NBC Barely Touch Minnesota Fraud, While CBS Delivers the Goods

While all three big three broadcast networks (ABC, CBS, and NBC) have covered the widespread cases of social services fraud among Minnesota’s Somali community, the frequency and thoroughness of the coverage has varied widely depending on the network. Before December 29, CBS was the only network to have aired even a single full-length report about the scandal, and as of this study’s publishing, ABC hasn’t touched the story outside of a single offhand mention on December 3.

DHS launches ‘DOOR TO DOOR’ search for illegal immigrants at accused fraud sites in Minneapolis

MINNEAPOLIS — ICE agents swooped down on Minnesota day cares and other sites suspected in the state’s sprawling, multibillion-dollar fraud scheme as the feds ramped up pressure on Gov. Tim Walz and the local Somali community.

Authorities are investigating whether as much as $9 billion may have been stolen in a mind-boggling social-services scam they say was predominantly orchestrated by Somali immigrants.

From Gaza to Iran: what’s on the agenda at the Netanyahu-Trump talks

Binyamin Netanyahu knows how to speak to President Trump. To assuage him away from pursuing peace talks in his previous term, the Israeli prime minister used golf metaphors and maps of Trump’s beloved New York to show him why it would not work.

On his fifth trip to meet the president since Trump was inaugurated in January, a record for any foreign leader, Netanyahu may have to do more than beguile him with the 300-acre golf course near Tel Aviv he is building and naming in his honour.

Trump casually confirms first land strike on plant in Venezuela: ‘We knocked that out’

Donald Trump gave a nonchalant confirmation of the first US land strike in Venezuela during a radio interview last week that received little attention.

The President said that the Christmas Eve strike was on a facility ‘where the ship comes from’ – seemingly referencing the origination location of the alleged drug vessels that the US military has been targeting in the Caribbean and Atlantic over the last three months.

Speaking on WABC on December 26, Trump made the bombshell suggestion that US forces have already started conducting land operations in Venezuela.

Walz Finally Responds to Viral Video Showing Empty Somali Childcare Center That Received $4 Million in State Funds

Minnesota Governor Tim Walz is finally attempting to defend fraud allegations sparked by a viral video showing a childcare center sitting largely empty despite pocketing millions in state funds.

A spokesperson for Mr. Walz’s office said the governor has spent years working to “crack down on fraud” and has strengthened oversight of state programs, launching investigations into multiple facilities. The statement came in response to questions about a video posted by independent journalist Nick Shirley.

Cocaine-carrying migrants were destroying this Arizona ranch. Then Trump stopped the crossings

Sue Chilton was home alone last year when a group of four migrants with sinister face tattoos appeared on her doorstep.

Recognising the markings, the diminutive 83-year-old refused to let them into the house but put together a picnic for them to eat outside. “Sue hosted MS-13 for lunch,” howled Jim, her husband, referring to the brutal Salvadorian gang.

The Chiltons are fifth-generation ranchers who have farmed cattle on the Tucson sector of the Arizona border for nearly four decades. But their 50,000 acre ranch fell prey to the Mexican cartels, who exploited the undulating scrubland and a five-mile gap in the border wall that Mrs Chilton refers to as “the door”, to traffic migrants and drugs into the country.

Blue states surrendering to Somalis, Islam, and diversity

Boston Mayor Michelle Wu (D) recently said that Somalis are to thank for pretty much every “achievement” that the city has ever had.

According to Wu:

“You cannot talk about any achievement that the city of Boston has had in safety, jobs, and economic development, in education, without talking about the Somali community that has lifted our city up. We are proud and we are grateful for our Somali community and for our Somali American neighbors.”
