Not so proud to be American — ‘fed up’ expats renounce citizenship

Each year, 5,000 to 6,000 Americans renounce U.S. citizenship mostly for tax-related and logistical reasons but politics is now playing a more central role, lawyers say.

LONDON — On the morning after the U.S. election last November, an American living in London woke up, read that Donald Trump would be returning to the White House and sent an email to the U.S. Embassy. It said, in essence, I want a divorce.

A year later, the country of his birth is about to grant his request not to be an American any more.

The man, who spoke on the condition of anonymity because he fears retribution by the Trump administration, is in the final phase of expatriation, the process of formally renouncing his U.S. citizenship.

The author wants you to believe more Americans are renouncing citizenship when in fact all that is happening is an uptick in those citing “politics” as the reason for their choice… lawyers say.

Demanding Homage To Islam, Mamdani Proves Migration Without Assimilation Is Just Conquest

During Thursday’s New York City mayoral debate, socialist Zohran Mamdani implied former New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo is unqualified to be mayor because he hadn’t visited a mosque.

“He had more than 10 years and he couldn’t name a single mosque at the last debate we had that he visited,” Mamdani said, before going on to say that “Muslims … want equality and they want respect! … Can you name a single mosque you went to in 10 years?”

The lure of China – What Carney hopes to gain from a Canadian reset with Beijing

Beijing’s biggest fish bazaar is a briny-smelling maze of stalls stocked with massive crabs from Russia, purple lobster from Australia and yellow croaker fish from China’s southeastern coast.

What’s increasingly hard to find at Jingshen Seafood Market, however, are products from Canada: the casualties of a punishing trade war between Ottawa and Beijing.

This lost business is becoming harder for Canada to write off as the United States under Donald Trump grows increasingly protectionist and unpredictable.

This Photo Should End Zohran Mamdani’s Campaign

Zohran Mamdani’s campaign for mayor of New York City has always been a political red flag, but his latest move makes it clear that this isn’t just about misguided socialist politics; it’s a full-blown ideological danger. The city that once prided itself on resilience is now flirting with political self-destruction. Mamdani, the self-described democratic socialist, doesn’t just advocate for the usual left-wing laundry list — that’s bad enough — but now a photo op is revealing something far more sinister than bad economic and social policies

Trump deploys secretive ‘Night Stalkers’ regiment as Venezuela mobilizes

Donald Trump has deployed one of the Army’s most secretive regiments in the Caribbean after threatening strikes inside Venezuela.

The president warned socialist tyrant Nicolas Maduro that he better not ‘f*** around with the United States’ as he spoke to reporters at the White House on Friday.

Trump has ordered five strikes over the last two months on Venezuelan ‘narco-terrorist’ boats in the Caribbean, killing at least 27 alleged drug traffickers.

3 Nabbed on Conspiracy Charges After Illegally Entering US from New Brunswick

Three individuals were apprehended for conspiracy-related offences last week, stemming from an incident last spring where a Chinese national illegally crossed the Canadian border into the United States, the New Brunswick RCMP says.

The U.S. Border Patrol informed the RCMP about the illegal border crossing that occurred near Grand Falls, N.B., on April 15, the Mounties said in an Oct. 16 press release.

Illinois Released The Illegal Alien Accused Of Abusing My Daughter’s Body, So I Had To Report Him To ICE Myself

President Donald Trump is in an ongoing struggle with Illinois Gov. J.B. Pritzker, with Pritzker seeking to slander or stymie every effort Trump makes to restore law and order in the streets of Chicago and in Illinois more broadly. That struggle for law and order is personal for me. My daughter died after allegedly being left unresponsive in the home of an illegal alien from Mexico, and Illinois’ politicians put him right back on the streets.

On Feb. 19, 2025, my daughter Megan, a vibrant 37-year-old and mother of two, went missing in Waukegan, Illinois, a few weeks after her release from jail on an old warrant related to her battle with addiction. To our horror, she was located, deceased, on April 10, 2025

Trump Considers Overhaul of Refugee System That Would Favor White People … Usual Racists Faint

The Trump administration is considering a radical overhaul of the U.S. refugee system that would slash the program to its bare bones while giving preference to English speakers, white South Africans and Europeans who oppose migration, according to documents obtained by The New York Times.

The proposals, some of which already have gone into effect, would transform a decades-old program aimed at helping the world’s most desperate people into one that conforms to Mr. Trump’s vision of immigration — which is to help mostly white people who say they are being persecuted while keeping the vast majority of other people out.

The Horror! The plans entail placing a new emphasis on whether applicants would be able to assimilate into the U.S., and to focus on Europeans.

Hook-Handed Terror Imam Fights Toilet Jihad in Prison

How many Islamic toilets is a Muslim terrorist entitled to? At least two.

That’s the ruling by a U.S. federal judge in the long running saga of a UK Muslim terror imam locked up in a Colorado prison who called for murdering non-Muslims and wants those same non-Muslims to tend to the ‘purity’ of his nether regions so he can properly pray to ‘Allah’.

Trump says he authorised CIA in Venezuela as Maduro says ‘no to regime change’

US President Donald Trump has confirmed a report he authorised the CIA to conduct covert operations inside Venezuela, provoking outrage from the South American nation’s leader.

US forces have already conducted at least five strikes on suspected drug-carrying boats in the Caribbean in recent weeks, killing 27 people. UN-appointed human rights experts have described the raids as “extrajudicial executions”.

Speaking at the White House, Trump said the US “is looking at land” as it considers further strikes on drug cartels in the region.

Team Canada shoots on its own net in trade talks with China

There goes Team Canada.

The rock-solid group of premiers fighting as one in a trade war are being chipped apart, their united front undone not just by the threats of U.S. President Donald Trump but by the promises of the Chinese ambassador Wang Di.

Now Canada, caught in a trade war with two capricious superpower partners, is negotiating against itself. This country might as well put up a sign inviting bigger players to come to fleece us.

Canada must call China’s bluff on canola

China’s decision to slap duties on Canadian canola is meant to send a message: submit to removing the tariff on Chinese EVs, or pay the price. For too long, Beijing has treated Canadian farmers as pawns in a geopolitical chess game. But this time, the message should go the other way. Canada holds the trump card. If we call China’s bluff, absorb the short-term cost, and invest in value-added capacity, we can break the cycle of economic coercion once and for all.

This is a wish dream.

Canada’s Titans of industry are corporate welfare bums unwilling to invest to improve productivity.

Instead they live it up behind a gated community of government supported cartels, tax payer subsidies, interprovincial trade barriers and the import of masses of unskilled labour.

This is what the Elbow people are protecting.
