Duke of Windsor ‘gave palace layout to Nazis before bombing’

The Royal Archives may help one deduce whether the Duke of Windsor helped the Nazis bomb Buckingham Palace but do not expect to find out anything about Prince Philip, a historian granted rare access to the treasure trove has said.

Alexander Larman, whose books on the royal family between the wars outline the duke’s wartime assistance to Germany and MI5’s alleged collusion with an assassination attempt, said he had been surprised at the amount of information available in the archive at Windsor Castle. He told the Oxford Literary Festival yesterday that a royal archivist had said: “We are not in the business of protecting the Duke of Windsor’s reputation.”

Prince Andrew is believed to be in talks with American authors to write an explosive tell-all autobiography.

The memoir is described by sources close to the Duke of York as Spare 2.0 after Prince Harry’s controversial book, Spare.

The disgraced Duke is said to believe that an autobiography might allow him to set the record straight in the wake of the Jeffrey Epstein scandal.

Prince Harry and Meghan back group that accuses parents of ‘gendering’ unborn children

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are backing a campaign group working in UK schools that accuses parents of “gendering” their unborn children.

Prince Harry and his wife Meghan’s podcast, Archetypes, has a partnership with the Global Boyhood Initiative, a group which aims to “promote gender equity by fostering positive masculinity in boys and men”.

The Global Boyhood Initiative has created a curriculum which is being piloted in London schools and encourages primary school children to question “gender norms”.

One day Harry will regret marrying that woman.

Popularity of monarchy in Canada falls to lowest level in 14 years: poll

The monarchy’s popularity in Canada has fallen to its lowest level in 14 years, suggests a new poll released Wednesday by Research Co.

As King Charles’s May coronation draws closer, fewer than one in five Canadians, or 19 per cent of the 1,000 individuals surveyed, would like the monarch to remain Canada’s head of state.

While the King, personally, is viewed more favourably by Canadians, at 32 per cent, his mother, the late Queen Elizabeth, was exactly twice as popular in February 2022, based on another Research Co. poll conducted before her death.

Canadians uninterested in King Charles’ coronation, British monarchy, survey suggests

New polling results suggest Canadians are largely indifferent to King Charles, and more than half believe his May 6 coronation is the right time for the country to reconsider its ties with the monarchy.

The web survey of 1,544 adults released Tuesday by market research firm Leger indicates many Canadians are greeting the ascension of Charles to the throne with a shrug.

I don’t think Charles gives a damn.

Meghan wants to be a lifestyle guru. The problem is no one wants her advice

The Duchess is reportedly poised to relaunch her blog, The Tig. But it won’t trouble brands like Gwyneth Paltrow’s Goop – for one big reason

Princess Douchebag – Lying Bimbo

Poor Gwyneth Paltrow must be quaking in her Isabel Marant boots. Meghan Markle – that esteemed public figure – has just been given preliminary approval to relaunch her lifestyle blog, The Tig.

According to reports, details filed with the US Trademark and Patent Office show that the website shut down by the 41-year-old in 2017 could make a comeback as early as next week – and go head-to-head with Paltrow’s £200 million lifestyle brand, Goop.

‘Hollywood is laughing at them!’ Meghan Markle ridiculed in hilarious SNL joke

Meghan Markle has once again been mocked by a top US comedy show as Saturday Night Live has become the latest to take a swipe at the Duchess of Sussex. Comedian Michael Che joked that Meghan was being offered “$19 an hour” to attend the Coronation as a graphic of the Duchess dressed as a maid appeared behind him. The segment has so far been lapped up by viewers.

I know, it’s hard to believe SNL could be funny.

King receives new horse from Canada’s Mounties in step with Royal tradition

King advised not to rename horse “Blackie Trudeau”

It is a relationship that dates back to 1904 when King Edward VII bestowed a royal title on Canada’s North West Mounted Police, the predecessors of today’s famous Mounties.

Now that long relationship has found its latest incarnation in the shape of Noble, a seven-year-old, 16.2-hands high black mare.

She has just been gifted to King Charles and is settling into her new home at the Royal Mews in Windsor where His Majesty met her for the first time last week.

The Princess of Wales and her husband William, the future King and elder brother of the troubled Prince Harry, visited a Muslim Centre in London on Thursday, with the princess donning an Islamic hijab for the occasion.

The monarchy cannot last beyond Kate & William, abandoning your own people to appease invaders is not a good look.

The ingrate should be deported.

Chris Rock’s jabs at Meghan Markle’s racism claims are ‘a real punch in the gut’: expert

Chris Rock’s comedy special on Netflix was no laughing matter for the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, royal experts claimed.

On Saturday’s “Chris Rock: Selective Outrage,” the comedian unloaded several jokes aimed at Meghan Markle and her royal in-laws. At one point, the 58-year-old said the former “Suits” star was doing a lot of “complaining.”

Chris Rock’s righteous skewering of Meghan Markle

During his new Netflix stand-up special, Selective Outrage, Chris Rock has said what we’ve all long been thinking. That Meghan Markle’s claims to be a victim of royal racism are a pile of the proverbial.

‘Like, who is this girl Meghan Markle?’, asks Rock, during a section on people who are desperate to play the victim. ‘Seems like a nice lady – just complaining… Like, didn’t she hit the light-skinned lottery?’

Why King Charles should brace for the WORST in Harry’s latest interview

Prince Harry’s latest interview to promote his bombshell memoir Spare could prove to be the most damaging yet for his father, King Charles – as it will see the Duke sitting down with a ‘childhood trauma expert’ who believes that everything wrong in people’s lives is rooted in their negative experiences as a child.

The royal, 38, is set to speak with Hungarian-Canadian doctor Gabor Maté on Saturday to promote his new memoir, Spare, and discuss ‘living with loss and the importance of personal healing.’

Having already taken several swipes at his family in the pages of his book, this new interview will provide Harry with an opportunity to delve even deeper into his childhood – and potentially lay bare any ‘traumatic’ experiences that he believes have led to his struggles as an adult.

King Charles III is not ‘in’ with the cool rocker crowd

The last coronation in England was 70 years ago when Queen Elizabeth sat on Edward I’s chair (dating from 1296) as the Archbishop of Canterbury placed King Edward’s crown (dating from 1661) on her head. It’s an ancient ceremony and, in the modern era, an infrequent one. You’d think there’d be a queue of rock stars lining up to be part of this historical moment, but they’re not. Even a king all-in on climate change can’t override a soap opera monarchy associated with colonialism, so top rockers are saying “no” to being a part of the event.

Ottawa is tight-lipped about King Charles’s coronation — and monarchists are worried

Monarchists in Canada say they’re troubled by the fact that the federal government hasn’t said yet how the country will celebrate King Charles’s coronation — a historic event for the head of state that is just two months away.

Royal-watchers say that as a senior member of the Commonwealth of Nations with close historic ties to the Crown, Canada should meaningfully mark Charles’s investiture as King and the crowning of Camilla as Queen Consort.

I am not sure the Monarchy will survive William and Kate.

As for Canada, I think a respect for  tradition exists but a growing indifference may spell the end of our ties.
