The Correctional Service of Canada has launched an investigation after a federal offender who was out on statutory release was arrested in the murder of a Toronto woman back in December.
First-degree murder charges were laid against Ashton Drysdale on Jan. 24, 2026 in connection with the death of Jolan Kun, a 79-year-old Toronto woman who was found dead in an apartment near St. Clair Avenue West and Rushton Road on Dec. 9, 2025.

LONDON, ONT. — Four Mandarin-speaking suspects are facing charges related to the unlawful possession of explosives following a weekend incident that began with a trespassing call at Western University’s engineering buildings and led police to a nearby residence containing what court documents describe as “numerous precursor substances and finished high explosives.”

When people hear about my job, they assume I burst into people’s houses like the exorcist from the film. That couldn’t be further from the truth. It’s not dramatic. I’m much more likely to turn up and say, “Hi, I’m Jason – I’ve been sent to sort the leak in the temporal timeframe, if you could just show me where it is.” Like a gas engineer, but for paranormal activity.
As well as being an Anglican priest and the dean of Llandaff Cathedral in Cardiff, I am a “deliverance minister” dealing with poltergeist activity, houses that are “haunted” and things that go bump in the night, as well as people who believe they are possessed. There are some misconceptions about how the Anglican Church deals with the supernatural. The fact that every diocese in England and Wales has a team of people like me shows that the Church is more open to these things than people assume. In my diocese, we deal with about a dozen incidents a year. Despite what people often think, it’s no worse on Halloween.

New Jeffrey Epstein emails describe Bill Gates having ‘sex with Russian girls’, catching an ‘STD’, then planning to ‘surreptitiously give’ antibiotics to his then-wife Melinda, the Daily Mail can exclusively reveal.
The shocking emails, sent from Epstein’s account to himself in July 2013, appear to be drafts of a letter intended to be sent by Gates’ then-top advisor Boris Nikolic, around his resignation from the Microsoft billionaire’s charitable foundation.
Appearing to write from the point of view of Nikolic, the email offers his resignation, then says ‘During the past few weeks I have been caught up in a severe marital dispute between Melinda and Bill.’

Another one bites the dust…

Legendary Queen guitarist Brian May has said he’s too scared to tour the US because it’s become such a “dangerous place.”
May, 78, told American fans not to expect to see his legendary band, who last toured the US in 2023 with American Idol alum Adam Lambert stepping in for late frontman Freddie Mercury, any time soon.
Literally thousands of British girls and women raped by alien invaders who continue to storm your borders but yea the US is dangerous Mr. Out of Touch.

Inès, who was stabbed to death on Monday, had filed six complaints against her former partner, an Afghan refugee, for violence and harassment, all to no avail. Her mother described him as a “dangerous” and “extremist” man who “did not want to integrate” and “intended to return to Afghanistan.”
Inès worked for an organization that helps migrants, particularly with administrative procedures. It was in this capacity that she met the accused man. A “dangerous” and “extremist” man who “didn’t want to integrate” and “intended to return to Afghanistan.” “He said the Taliban were heroes.”
When Inès met the man who would become the prime suspect in her murder, the young woman seemed oblivious to the warnings from her loved ones. Angélique had repeatedly alerted her to her partner’s unstable personality. “I didn’t like him when I saw him,” confides her mother, who describes the man as “a big macho” with “the mentality of his country.” Despite everything, the young woman stayed for two years: “I think she was in denial; she thought she could change him,” she continues.

The former CNN anchor Don Lemon was arrested on Friday on charges that he violated federal law during a protest at a church in St. Paul, Minn., multiple people familiar with the matter said, in a case rejected last week by a magistrate judge.
Mr. Lemon has said he was simply reporting as a journalist when he entered the Cities Church on Jan. 18 to observe a demonstration against the immigration crackdown in the area.
The protesters interrupted a service at the church, where an Immigration and Customs Enforcement official serves as a pastor, and chanted “ICE out.” Afterward, the Trump administration sought to charge eight people over the episode, including Mr. Lemon, citing a law that protects people seeking to participate in a service in a house of worship.
