There’s a big milestone coming up for a lot of families this year: first divorced Christmas.
It might be a challenging day of splitting kids between disparate family events. Or, perhaps, Mom and Dad will behave like adults and both show up to the same gathering in an effort to create some normalcy for their children, who, heretofore, might have had an intact family and simple celebrations.

Russell Brand has been charged with two further offences including one count of rape, the Metropolitan Police has said.
In a new statement, the police force said the Crown Prosecution Service (CPS) has authorised an additional charge of rape and a charge of sexual assault relating to two further women.
The broadcaster, comedian and actor previously pleaded not guilty to five charges including two counts of rape, two counts of sexual assault and one count of indecent assault in relation to four women.

Disgraced first son Hunter Biden turned on his father, Joe, in a wide-ranging podcast interview this week, acknowledging that the 46th president’s lax immigration policy and move to pull US forces out of Afghanistan were both catastrophic failures.
Hearing this from Hunter Biden was not on my 2025 bingo card.
Just demolished his father’s administration.
“We don’t want immigrants that are coming here illegally, draining us of resources, and being prioritized above anybody in our society.”

Once in Tampa Bay, I saw a big fat guy on a motorcycle. He was riding without a helmet — while chain-smoking cigarettes — and gripping a bag of Arby’s takeout.
That’s right: ARBY’S! (Gasp!) What a maniac!
I thought, “Wow, talk about not caring about your health even a little bit.”
Of course, it’s entirely possible that the guy was the pinnacle of health and fitness, with a lower cholesterol level than me. It’s possible he’ll live to 100, smoking Marlboros and gorging on Arby’s long after we’re all dead and buried.
You never know for sure.
Good read.
Anyone can read the redactions of the Epstein Files by just copying and pasting them into a word doc. The people at Trump's Justice Department are so stupid they used Adobe Acrobat to black out the documents. pic.twitter.com/ZD5GNipEFh

Osman Azizov is out on bail. It cannot be, and yet, apparently, it is. Among the 14 charges against the 18-year-old Toronto man, and two alleged accomplices, are sexual assault with a weapon, attempted kidnapping, impersonating a police officer and unauthorized possession of at least one firearm.
It’s a close race, but the kidnapping allegations are perhaps the most disturbing — because who knows what might have been in store for the victims afterwards?

A Toronto judge has granted bail to a former Ontario defence lawyer who American authorities say advised fugitive and drug kingpin Ryan Wedding to murder a federal witness.
Superior Court Justice Michael Bawden accepted Deepak Paradkar’s application for bail in a downtown Toronto courtroom on Tuesday, following a three-day hearing held earlier this month.

A 60 Minutes segment that was spiked from Sunday night’s episode just hours before airtime has been leaked online after being played during the show’s Canada broadcast.
The newsmagazine had been set to air veteran journalist Sharyn Alfonsi’s ‘Inside CECOT’ segment, featuring interviews with a group of Venezuelan men who thought they were being deported back to their home country – only to wind up at the notorious El Salvador prison.
This is a link to the show segment it may or may not work
Just the teaser, can’t embed the full segment.
