Leaky Pipe …

It doesn’t rain but it pours.

Suddenly the kitchen sink (a dual sink) ceased draining and began to fill with water as I was rinsing dishes.

Per habit I fed the sinks Drano but that did not fix the problem.

I then checked the pipes under the sink and discovered a leak where a previously solid weld is located.

Plumber will stop by tomorrow in the afternoon.

…Sigh.

When her friend caught up, the police realised she was a tourist and relented. “I can’t imagine how bad it would have been if I were a local woman,” Bold said.

Almost one million Canadians have serious climate anxiety, study suggests

Swedish climate activist Greta Thunberg has spoken about how at age 11, she was so depressed about climate change she stopped talking and eating and lost 10 kilograms in two months.

Here in Canada, a mother of two children in Salmon Arm, B.C., says her anxiety about the climate her kids will experience “becomes so heavy it’s suffocating.” A Calgary student says she started obsessing about food to cope with her anxiety about the state of our planet, and sometimes was “so overwhelmed with what food choices were best for the planet, I hardly ate at all.”

‘I am not done’ – Kamala Harris tells BBC she may run for president again

Former US Vice-President Kamala Harris has told the BBC she may run again for the White House.

In her first UK interview, Harris said she would “possibly” be president one day and was confident there will be a woman in the White House in future.

Making her strongest suggestion to date that she will make another presidential bid in 2028 after losing to Donald Trump last year, Harris dismissed polls that put her as an outsider to become the Democrats’ pick for the next election.
